Personality:
In nearly all circumstances, Caligo is composed and stoic, often choosing a course of action based on premeditated thought and current data. He never gives up more than he believes any given being should know which may often result in frustration or, to a greater extent, fury. As a Sith, he is ruthless and blunt in his statements. It is quite likely that he will ever sugarcoat anything to save face, reputation, or spare another’s feelings. He is analytical and observant to the smallest details. His vibrant green eyes are the only contrast to his character. But, even in their grandeur, one can find little solace as the gaze cast from those emerald moonstones is one of pure malice and distaste.

COMBAT INFORMATION

Weapon Of Choice:
  • Red Curved Hilt Lightsaber

Combat Function:
In a combat situation, it is quite hard to track Darth Caligo. This is simply for the fact that he infuses traits of both the Saber and Inquisitor paths into his fighting style. One minute he could be barraging through the enemy ranks, and in the next, he will be zapping a group of clustered troops into the dust which they were born of.

However, for all of his proficiency, he lacks excellence in regards to dealing with an overwhelming or otherwise large number of opponents due to the forms of lightsaber combat that he specializes in. His primary form is Ataru while his secondary form is Juyo. While Juyo being be more capable of dealing with larger groups of enemies, in his older age, it is more difficult to deal with mass forces than it may have been in his younger days.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Before his induction to the Sith, Darth Caligo was a boy by the name of Naaran Fayd. He was born into Clan Fayd which resided in the eastern deserts of Kiffu. The boy’s mother was a shaman… of sorts. She is an alchemist seething in the cesspool that is the Dark Side of the Force. Her ‘healing’ is often administered to prisoners of war or the occasional slave the elders of the clan bring to her for correction. Naaran’s father, on the other hand, is a fierce and proud warrior of Fayd. His valor and brutal efficiency earned him many tattoos along is olive tanned arms. Growing up, Naaran admired traits exhibited by both of his parents, vowing to be like them once he reached adolescence.

His routine within his Clan was fiercely disrupted on the eve of his sixteenth birthday. His father woke him up with a kick to the stomach, tossing his bound body onto foot of the One Sith Academy’s steps. His father did not say a word, nor did he make any gesture other than to place a note on his son’s chest with instructions, written in Basic. Then, like a shooting star, the man whom he’d called ‘Father’ was gone without so much of a trace.

The boy sat for four days without water, without food, without voice or freedom of movement. It was within those four days that he learned to draw upon the Dark Side that throbbed inside the planet like a heartbeat. All of the pent up confusion, hatred, anger, and fury finally burst out of his athletic and starved body as the Dark Side granted him a new voice. He screamed and his rope bonds shattered and littered the steps while he stumbled to his feet and climbed up the steps to enter his new home.

The Academy was...rough. The Masters and Instructors were far worse however. Years and years spent learning the basics of forms, the Sith Code, the history of the Sith, and forging his own style and private philosophy which he recorded on paper in the little free time he was allowed. A Master within the Academy took notice of him and pushed the boy far beyond the limits of his body and mind. He was free of the Academy under this Sith Lord, but he had only traded one Master for another. The only difference between the two Masters was that one embraced him and all that he would become.

Two decades pass and the old Sith Lord is cut down in a secretive Kaggath by the newly christened Darth Caligo. But,with neither of the two aligned with any specific Order any longer, his title was legitimate only for the reason that his former Master had once begin a Lord within the Sith hierarchy. The new Sith Lord emerged and built himself a residence on the planet of Ciutric IV and he lived there undisturbed. As he grew in power, his physical being decayed. Through the use of sorcery, he was able to preserve his youthful appearance, but his skin remained an ashen grey color due to decades of drawing upon the Dark Side. Through these solitary years, he would hunt for and buy various Sith artifacts, tomes, other manuscripts, and holocrons to increase his overall wealth. Finally, he decided that he needed to pass his knowledge down to the next generation and he ventured to the world of Ambria after weeks of travel while reaching out until he found a sole speck that shone within a being on the torn world.

That being would be a boy by the name of Kyrinov, a direct reflection of the duality that raged in the very soil at his feet. This boy would become his apprentice and, eventually, surpass Caligo and achieve the status of Knight. After 12 years of training Kyrinov, Darth Caligo would once again retreat to his home on Ciutric, leaving only his mental bond with his former Apprentice. Perhaps, he knew that, in time, the boy would seek him out once more.

Apologies for the delay, work has been all-consuming the last few days. There are a few things to address:
  • You're going to need to cut down on the powers. Currently reading 21 different powers, plus all the saber forms except one.
  • Can you detail what texts/artifacts he has?

Changes made as per your request.
  • Narrowed down the forms he as training in
  • Narrowed down Force powers to 13 instead of the former 21
  • Listed some of the artifacts and manuscripts he has within his possession
If there are any more changes that need to be made, please let me know and I'll accommodate.

Over all this looks good. I have a question, and depending on the answer a possible edit I'd like to see.

Is this NPC primarily for history for your character or do you intend to utilize them in PvP scenarios?

If it's the later, I would like to see an additional, exploitable weakness added to the combat section.

Sounds good. With that as the intent I have no problem approving as is. Keep in mind that NPCs are considered weaker than a PC of the same rank and we're golden.

Approved.
