The critical response has been positive, with many lauding the tome for its fresh perspective on the Force and its meticulous examination of a previously overlooked planetary phenomenon.
Scholars and historians in the Jedi Order have commended Master Jade for her comprehensive research and persuasive arguments. The correlation she draws between Jakku and other Force-rich locations, such as Dagobah and Mortis, has opened new avenues for exploration and study. Critics, initially skeptical of Jakku's significance, have found themselves captivated by the evidence presented in the tome, leading to a reassessment of their understanding of the Force's influence on specific planets.
Force-sensitive individuals across the galaxy have been particularly drawn to the practical implications of Master Jade's findings. The concept of a time-compressed reality on Jakku has sparked intense interest among those seeking to enhance their Force abilities. The Jakku Jedi Enclave's training philosophy, rooted in this unique temporal distortion, has garnered admiration and interest, with some Force-sensitive individuals expressing a desire to undergo training on Jakku.
These are a collection of thoughts, experiences, discoveries, explorations, and codifications that Romi has recorded over time. Having decided to muse and document in her private time, her intention was for it to later becoming shareable/teachable knowledge. Beyond the copies authored and printed and the spare memory crystal she keeps, this is a rare read.

A copy of the book was usually readily available for students of the Jakku Enclave, A few couple copies making their way to different Jedi libraries through archivist, and wayward Jedi. For example, a copy was given to Kassogtha Cthylla Kassogtha Cthylla to include in the Jedi Archives on Coruscant.

FORMAT INFORMATION

A larger book Romi had been authoring for some time, this reads from left to right on two pages. Handwritten notes and marks outline her experiences and her reflections on them, with the bulk of the content being kept to the blocks of text. The backed up information contained in the crystal could only be accessed when placed in a holocron which, in turn, could only be opened with the Force. Once opened, the three-dimensional appearance and cognitive networks of Master Jade, that could sense the ability and level of a Jedi, would appear to begin explaining her personal, and continuous journey towards mastery.

CONTENT INFORMATION

In Dark Echoes: The Jakku Enigma, Jedi Master Romi Jade presents a compelling case for Jakku's discreet power, tracing its influence throughout galactic history. Master Jade reveals the planet's role in pivotal events and battles, shedding light on the perpetual attraction it holds for Force-sensitive individuals and organizations devoted to the Force.

Eons ago, the planet Jakku was once covered with green vegetation and oceans. At some unknown point, the planet was reduced to a barren desert wasteland. However, the planet's core still had the vital spark of life essence. It was obvious there was something significant about Jakku.

Emperor Sheev Palpatine, during his rule, detected dark energy from the Unknown Regions -- or perhaps it was Jakku calling to him? To explore this, he established Observatories, including one on Jakku. The planet's history reveals a lush past, inhabited by the Force-aligned Anchorites. The Observatory housed Sith artifacts, a navigational computer for Unknown Regions exploration, and delved into Jakku's core, where a spark of life essence intrigued Palpatine in the sense that he found it disgusting. His obsession led to a contingency plan that would destroy Jakku in the process. However, during the Battle of Jakku, Imperial forces, rallied by

Rax, threw Palpatine's adviser and Sith relics into the core, causing a near-catastrophic explosion. New Republic forces stabilized Jakku's core, preventing its destruction. This event, occurring a decade before Rey's birth, may be linked to Jakku's now twisted, and dark side vergence, possibly influencing Rey's Force awakening.

On Jakku, particularly in the sacred village of Tuanul, Rey and the Church of the Force, led by Lor San Tekka, honor the Force and preserve Jedi teachings. Multiple sacred villages, each hosting diverse religious groups, emerge across Jakku over time. The Teedo, a native reptilian species, share a mysterious telepathic connection, possibly awakened by Jakku's vergence. They worship the goddess R'iia, attributing violent storms to her breath (X'us'R'iia). The Teedo also venerated a meditating human known as the Sitter, forming a unique relationship with him. This spiritual and metaphysical presence draws pilgrims, Force worshippers, and sensitives to Jakku. The convergence of these diverse beliefs hints at the planet's profound connection to the Force.

Centuries upon centuries later, Jakku continues to play a pivotal role in galactic events, defying its seemingly desolate nature. The Jakku Jedi Enclave, established by Master Romi Jade, becomes a focal point. Events surrounding a raid on the academy trigger the second great hyperspace war. Despite Jakku's apparent insignificance, a pattern emerges—

multiple galaxy-defining events unfold in the region. The undeniable connection raises questions about the planet's mysterious influence on the unfolding tapestry of galactic history.

Master Jade's most daring proposition is the existence of a localized Force energy, a vergence, on Jakku. This unusual concentration enhances the connection to the Force for those in proximity, granting Force-sensitives heightened abilities and deeper insights. To support her claims, Master Jade draws parallels with other Force-sensitive locations like Dagobah and Mortis, asserting that Jakku exists within its own reality—a time-distorted realm where the passage of time is markedly different from the galaxy beyond -- this came from accounts on Luke Skywalker's training with Yoda on Dagobah and the amount of training he was able to complete during a short period of time in conjunction with the war and several other events happening seemingly simultaneously.

The heart of Master Jade's revelation lies in the Jakku Jedi Enclave, where Force-sensitive individuals undergo training that defies conventional temporal constraints. Due to the time-compressed nature of Jakku, weeks of training on the planet equates to some several mere days elsewhere. A vergence centered on a location could give nearby Force-sensitives stronger interactions with the Force, and because of this unique characteristic there has been success in the Jakku Jedi Enclave's training philosophy, offering a transformative experience for those seeking to master the ways of the Force.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Romi Jade has always been somewhat of an anomaly when it came to the Jedi Path. Between 830-840s ABY, In her youth, Padawanship to Knighthood, Romi chose the unorthodox in every approach to her training -- this stuck with her well into Mastership when she began to take on apprentices of her own. She went on to open her own Enclave on Jakku that adopted similar practices and used a harsh environment to instruct students in the ways of the Jedi. These practices were still in place when she moved to be Headmaster of the Ossus Jedi Praxeum. Her methodology has always been to provide students with what she believed they needed to start and maintain a Jedi career with longevity in a Galaxy engulfed in constant war.

Much of that saw her start to document experiences, observations, theories, and ideas along the way. Written form was the primary choice, hoping that later these notes could be referenced for print one day and recorded into her own personal Holocron. She started to her research, writing dow her thoughts in a journal when the Jakku Enclave officially opened, and had been adding to additional pages since. These pages -- in no particular order -- were a mixture of recollections, and commentary on Jakku.

When the Jakku Enclave was raided and destroyed, her initial copy had been lost; she re-wrote a second and added to it. This particular copy was the one printed, and was circulated amongst the Jakku Jedi Enclave and Jedi circles.
