{+} You got your father's spirit, Son: Of all the members of Clan Americus, Daniel is considered one of the most free-spirited. Quick to jump into a fight and slow to turn down a brawl, his fighting spirit is sometimes mistaken for intemperance. When faced with adversity, Daniel does not focus on the negative outcome of the situation even when it could be dire. Forever the optimist he believes there is no problem the galaxy holds that he cannot solve with his fists and his blaster.
{+} Keep it in the sky and you're doing good: A lot of Daniel's spare time is spent behind the wheel of any starship he can get his hands on. While not quite an expert, the Mandalorian has proved several times over that his skill in the skies is growing. When it comes to his ability to traverse the far reaches of the galaxy Daniel can be a bit handicapped. As he is not the best map reader he can easily turn a four day trip into a week long expedition into the reaches of wild space.
{+} Damn good shot, boy: For as long as he could remember, Daniel's father instructed him on the finer points of marksmanship. While he is perfectly capable with shooting a rifle, he has realized over the past few years that he is most at home with a good pistol in his hands.
{+} You got some eyes on you: Perhaps the contributing factor to his ability to pilot and shoot is Daniel's perfect vision and attention to detail. Most attribute Daniel with a photographic memory, as he can take a glance at a scene and remember almost everything about it. His keen eyesight has helped him land some of his best shots to date.
Weaknesses:
{-} Get your ass in gear: While he is pretty easily excitable and loves rushing into a "fun time," it is nearly impossible to get Daniel to put his time into something that does not interest him. Learning about modern technology, reading, and any form of political or social debate will more likely send the man into a slumber than keep his attention.
{-} You done lost your mind: Daniel has landed himself in a bad situation more than once due to his firecracker temper. While he is overall an even tempered man there are certain things that cause him to almost immediately snap. Chief among those is messing with someone he holds close, especially family. If he feels someone is threatening or bullying his family, he won't think twice before beating them half to death.
{-} I don't even mess with that junk: Daniel's largest pet peeve is trying to keep up to date on all the latest gadgets and tools the galaxy comes out with. Short of his beskar'gam the man does not tamper with any type of advanced technology, even most of his weapons are slugthrowers as opposed to the more superior blasters.

Born to the Mandalorian moon of Concord Dawn, Daniel is the youngest son of Jo and Betty Americus. One of the younger children, Daniel grew up like most of the boys his age. His father, Jo, taught him how to work their land on Concord Dawn. It was a modest life but one to look forward to each day. Sadly that life was cut from him before he even got a chance to claim it and make it his own. Still a young boy, Daniel had to adjust to their family moving away from their homeworld and it was a tough adjustment. He doesn't actually remember much about the move, other than his father rushing to find a new home for their family. He remembered that they had to leave because of the powers that ran through their veins in earnest. The Force.
It had become a large topic of controversy in the years before Daniel's birth and so the timing for it to erupt into conflict had finally come. So they left and lived life as their ancestors had. For a long time, their nomads curse had been true to them. In time the family resettled into a new home, under the banner of The Confederacy.
They were able to get some new land to work and for Daniel there never seemed to be a shortage of trouble he could find himself in. The people they settled under were not like the Mandalorians. They didn't understand the life, the language, they didn't understand that family meant everything and tradition was something to hold close to your heart. They were different but they were not bad.
Now Daniel spends most of his days by his father's side. Whether they are fighting or working their land it has been proven time and time again that Clan Americus will stay together and stay strong.
