  • Real-time Morphing technology allows this armor to rearrange and accommodate Damsy’s squaloid form during and after metamorphosis. Namely, the bottom half of the Siren's Skin sutures together to form a tail. As she returns to land, the armor likewise retracts to normal, reforming to her legs.
  • Hands-free Weaponry – slots for one BAW-57 heavy blaster pistol on each vambrace, connected to a verbal command firing system that recognizes only her voice – allows Damsy to utilize blasters without being physically able to hold them underwater. She has to lock them in place before shifting to use. Talons don’t play nice with triggers.
  • Water Tubing running inside the suit allows Damsy's skin to stay moist whether on land or in the sea by way of condensation and cooling without causing her to morph when inconvenient.

  • Shock Insulating capabilities allow for ideal use, especially underwater, with Damsy’s trident electrostaff, but offers no protection to allies.
  • Extra Dorsal Fins are attached to the armor to allow for even greater aquatic speed and maneuverability. Under normal circumstances, barring those involving abnormally strong currents, Damsy’s natural abilities would not need this augmentation, but considering the weight of the armor adds to her body, the assistance is a tactical and safety necessity.

  • Weighed Down as this armor is when compared to Damsy siren form itself, she will find it suddenly very difficult to swim should the additional dorsal fins be damaged or removed. Best case, her swimming speed will slow. Worst case, she’ll sink.
  • Reconfiguration Time is needed for this armor to shift between its forms. It takes slightly longer to go back to land from sea then vice versa. During this time, Damsy’s movements are severely limited.
  • Micro-Segmented Flexibility of the armor, unlike the typical model of Dauntless armor, makes it impossible for Siren's Skin to achieve the same user protection against the vacuum of space. The good news, though: the similar absence of protection for a non-squaloid shifter when underwater doesn’t matter to Damsy.

Sometime before the CIS' Blackwing outbreak and around the same time he did so for Gerwald Lechner Gerwald Lechner , Kyyrk Kyyrk designed Damsy Callat a morph suit. She wore it into battle until her supposed death on Atrisia, where she then hid it under the floorboards of a ransacked local apartment before assuming the name Niobe Crowe. Shortly after changing her identity and rejoining the Confederacy officially among the Knights Obsidians’ ranks, she traveled back to retrieve the Siren's Skin. Together with her trident electrostaff, she then left it with Naroh Se on Kamino.

After the invasion of Ryloth left the Dauntless major with severe heat stroke and dehydration damage, she returned to her homeworld for emergency medical care. After all, she was alchemized on Kamino, and after years of rearing, no one knew how better to stabilize the sithspawn’s unique anatomy better than their scientists. Upon recovery, Damsy was informed that the main complication had been her own fault: the anti-morph armor she had been wearing in order to protect her identity in the case of accidental contact with water had aided her dehydration.

Needless to say, she left Kamino with her old Dauntless gear in tow…after giving the Siren's Skin a new paint job.
