A thick silence had fallen upon the bunker, upon hearing the news that their main supporter had been killed, and now voices began to murmur low. Hyori sat silently, arms and legs crossed, dark eyes shifted back and forth to view the reactions of her comrades. It was easy to see the panic in their eyes, there was uncertainty in their voices - the whole scene was truly pathetic. It seemed that this blow would be enough to destabilize their forces around the planet, and soon they would all be crushed under the fist of the First Order.

“What we need to know now is... who killed Renholm?” Their leader’s eyes shifted to each person.

No more waiting, it was time to act. Before anyone had the chance to speak up, Hyori stood slowly and pulled two blasters from beneath the folds of her coat. There were momentary expressions of shock and fear, but her fingers found the triggers. The interior of the bunker flashed six times, and a second later there were six corpses slumped over in their seats. But there was one survivor, the leader stood in the middle of the room, his face absolutely panic stricken. A wicked grin found its way onto Hyori’s face, it was quite evident now that she was not so mild mannered as she had once appeared.

“You...” He whispered, a finger pointed in Hyori’s direction.

Both blasters were now fixed on the alien man, and his face became illuminated by the sudden realization that Hyori had been behind the string of deaths that had lead up to that day. He was stunned by the betrayal, but it was too late, for Hyori’s blaster went off one more time. The agent turned nonchalantly as the door swung open again, the face of the guard peered in and brandished his weapon in a futile attempt. Hyori had been ready for him, and a swift kick sent his blaster out of his grip, and a moment later, he was the next to join the group of dead aliens.

Before walking out of the bunker she had set down two charges, and once she was a safe distance she pressed the detonator. She would leave no hope behind.

The rabid members of the press had all but cornered the singer in her own dressing room. This was the life of a budding superstar; not always as glamorous as the on-stage veneer might suggest. The two Stormtroopers were helpless against the numbers of media men and women covering the event, and more strength was needed. Just as it seemed that Marzena would never escape the howling press that had backed her into a corner, a sudden rush of force came from the doorway behind.

At least a dozen Stormtroopers, all clad in crisp white armor, descended on the herd of journalists, barking orders even louder than they could yell questions at Marzena.

The journalists were herded back to the door, some of them forcefully, with the troopers nursing them along with the butts of their rifles into their backs. All protested, but in the end all were forced to leave, sent onward by the pack of white soldiers. And soon the soldiers themselves exited behind them, and as if in an instant, Marzena was left in silence in her dressing room, just as she had been minutes ago.

Then the door opened again. This time, a familiar silhouette stood in the doorway. General Vaas stepped forward.

"I came as soon as I could," Ludolf said to her, standing tall in front of the door. His black uniform was not crisp as usual, but dust-caked from the battle, and he still wore his ammunition and ration packs across his chest. He could tell she had been crying. But she had also done her duty to the First Order.

Marzena continued to stand with her back pressing up against the wall, and stubbornly refused to provide any additional comments. She watched helplessly as poor Mr. Calark and the two troopers struggled against the unruly crowd of reporters. The singer had been about to give in to their demands when there was suddenly even more commotion at her door. Marzena’s dark eyes grew wide as help arrived, and there was a great clash of elbows, holorecorders, and pristine white armor. For a moment there was only struggle, but then the noise began to die away.

And a moment later her room was quiet and empty.

A hand shot up towards her chest, her open palm gently came to rest over her heart, and she felt it pounding hard within. She didn’t think her heart could beat any faster, but she was wrong. The sound of the door opening drew her attention, but this time it framed a very welcome sight. Marzena could instantly see that General Vaas' appearance was slightly battle-worn, but it only made him look stronger and even more masculine than usual. Slowly she made her way across the room, only stopping when the tips of her heeled shoes touched gently against his boots.

She looked up at him wordlessly, but her expression had softened, and the faintest hint of a smile pulled at her painted lips. With the door shut safely behind them, and the knowledge that there was little chance of being disturbed, she let her arms wrap around Ludolf. Marzena nestled against him as much as she could manage, the items strapped to his chest kept her from being as close as she would have liked. But just being near him had brought her comfort and security.

“I’m glad you made it.” Marzena finally spoke.

Ludolf found his arms easily, almost instinctively, wrapping around Marzena as she embraced him. He knew very little about what to say to distressed victims, since in his line of work, any "victims" were typically of little consequence. He was trained to kill, and General Vaas had done much of that today. But being around Marzena Choi was like turning into a different person. Just as he had felt when he had been alone with her in her apartment, Ludolf suddenly became more aware of parts of himself that he never knew were there. The capacity to genuinely care about another individual at whatever cost to his own self. The capacity, perhaps, to love.

"I'm fine," He answered, reaching a black-gloved hand up to stroke her cheek gently. As he did, he left a tiny smear of dirt on her cheek. "I was more concerned about you."

War was a cruel mistress, and in a sane and just world, Marzena Choi would have had nothing to do with the events of today. But the galaxy was neither sane or just. However, the least he could do was to ensure that today's events would never happen again - at least not to her.

"I know it isn't always easy," He began as he pressed her cheek to his chest, allowing her to feel the vibrations of his deep voice. "But true courage never is. You have served the First Order admirably, Marzena."

Since they were alone, Ludolf felt permitted to indulge in his senses. And so he did; leaning down, with Marzena in his arms, he kissed her softly.

"I have a shuttle waiting. Will you come home with me?"

Kajtia got no response from General [member="Ludolf Vaas"] regarding orders and entering the city. Perhaps he was busy with other things and had his hands full. As Kajtia's TIE Advanced slowly glided towards the city and then over it, it was evidently obvious to her that there would be nothing else for her to do there. The fight was as good as over. Her TIE still had space faring capabilities, so Kajtia decided to call it a day and return back to the orbiting Terminator. Pointing the nose of her fighter upwards she slowly shot upwards, careful not to cause more damage to her TIE Advanced, eventually getting back into the hangar bay of the Terminator.

In the quiet solitude of her dressing room, she was pleased to find that Ludolf’s demeanor seemed to grow warmer before her eyes. There was a marked difference compared to the way he had appeared during their conversations over holoprojection earlier that day. The intensity of his blue gaze was still very present, but some of the iciness had melted away. As she listened to the words he spoke now, the tone he used was just a touch softer, not the hard voice that had he used during battle.

She still remembered the first time she had seen General Vaas at the First Order Ball on Dosuun, and she felt the same magnetism that had brought them together that night. If anything, the pull towards him was even stronger now and extended far beyond simple attraction. Even though she knew the inherent dangers of his position, worrying about him came quite naturally. But isn’t that what happened when you cared deeply for someone?

“I’m fine too,” She reassured him, “Now that you’re with me.”

The singer’s nerves were still quite frail, but as Ludolf pulled her against his chest, she basked in the sense of relief that washed over her. A moment later his lips found hers, and suddenly everything was right in her world. After the horrors she had seen that day, it was a reward well deserved. When the kiss broke she remained close, her chin still turned upwards and her eyes closed. As General Vaas broke the silence with his invitation to her, Marzena felt a spark of her usual brightness returning.

“I would love to,” She smiled, she couldn’t help it now. “Just let me grab a few things.”

Marzena pulled away from Ludolf, reassured that she would find her way back into his arms later that night, and walked over to her luggage. She packed her shoulder bag with her makeup, toiletries, and enough clothing to last a day or two. The rest of her belongings could be sent to her on Bespin, and she was confident that Mr. Calark would ensure that it reached her safely. She slid the bag onto her shoulder, and as she moved back to Ludolf’s side, she gently linked her arm around his.

“Shall we?”

"This is a good spot."

A troop transport set down on the ground for a short time before lifting off and heading to what ever mission it had elsewhere, it had dropped off a lone figure clad in red armor that was only recognizable to people who had known the Empire before it collapsed. Keyan Mastigar, a newly appointed lieutenant of the First Order, was a Royal Guard and a good one at that, but he was also the only known one left in existence after said Empire and its successor the Imperium disappeared from the galaxy at large.

He had been inserted into Lantibba City to escort someone, he was not told who, from point A to point B with additional details such as locations on a datapad which he had memorized beforehand. As per his mission, he made his way to one of the arenas within the city, passing small shoppes and stands alike, some scummy and some actually decent. Walking through a city in pristine robes and armor made him a target to some of the wannabe gangsters that attempted to mug him, only to be shocked to unconsciousness by his force pike, which was hidden under his robes while not guarding.

After a few minutes, Keyan had found his point A, which was still surrounded by some emergency vehicles after a recent terrorist attack with citizens gathered around in shock and horror at the tragedy that had occurred. The guard approached a member of the law enforcement and asked what happened, after a few moments of explaining Keyan entered the arena and made his way to the backstage where reporters were crowded around a group of stormtroopers that were surrounding a door.

Whoever was behind that door, was obviously going to be his duty. So Keyan took up position next to the door, brandishing his pike, and waited for the person to come out.

Marzena seemed to hang on his words, and Ludolf saw a glimmer of hope return to her complexion as he offered to take her away from the insanity of Lanteeb. He did not know what it was like to care for a woman... though he was slowly learning, just as he was learning to find the emotional capabilities within himself to form an attachment with others. Of course, the carnal desire for Marzena had never really left, but now Ludolf was beginning to feel something stronger. He couldn't tell what it was just yet, but all he knew at this time was that he couldn't wait to be alone with her again.

"Good," He said, and took Marzena by the arm, helping her towards the doorway. "However, there is one more thing."

Perhaps it was because he cared so much for Marzena Choi, or perhaps it was due to her importance as a propaganda figure for the First Order. General Vaas would try to convince himself it was the latter, though in moments of pensive solitude he knew that the former reason played the biggest part in the steps he had just taken. The First Order had become a magnet for former Imperial loyalists across the galaxy, and as men came to join the ranks, General Vaas had been paying careful attention to the vetting process. He was looking for someone specifically, with a very particular set of skills... and Vaas believed he had finally found that man.

When Ludolf and Marzena entered the hallway outside, the Stormtroopers had long since cleared the press away. There was only one man left standing between them and their transport outside; a red-clad knight of the old Empire.

"Marzena," He said to his woman, looking down at her intently, "I've arranged for you to have a personal bodyguard. Mere Stormtroopers alone will no longer suffice. That is why I have found someone who will protect you from any danger whenever you're not with me. He will do his duty well. Isn't that right, soldier?"

Arthan suddenly stood up, his body was aching in pain all over and his helmet hanging off of his face, now a load of scrap, on the ground where he lay but a moment ago was something he was not prepared for, his own forearm with his lightsaber still clutched in it. All around him were bodies, both First Order and alien, and ground that had been scorched from the battle that had happened however long ago.

The Disciple had no idea what the kark had happened before he had woken up, all he remembered was him and his master landing on Lanteeb then nothing. He let out a loud and painful scream of angst before moving on, he grabbed the saber from his once attached limb and put it back on his worn utility belt.

His shuttlecraft was destroyed but still salvageable over on the hill that they landed on, he made a mental note to make sure that it was taken and repaired for later use. The Zabrak walked off into the distance hoping to find some form of civilization so he could contact his allies and receive medical attention, but for now the pain and anger would be the driving force behind his energy.

Marzena was eager to leave Lanteeb, and she held tightly to Ludolf’s arm as they walked towards the door. Her heart was beginning to feel lighter, no longer full of nervous energy, and now fluttering at the thought of finally being alone with General Vaas. However, she looked up again when he informed her that there was just one more piece of business here. As they passed over the threshold and into the hallway, she turned to see that their slight delay came in the form of a man wearing rather impressive armor, and she listened patiently to Ludolf's explanation.

“I see,” She said softly, looking up to Ludolf. “Thank you, General Vaas.”

For now she chose to address Ludolf formally in front of her new guard, but she had a feeling that this red-clad knight would eventually come to realize the true nature of her relationship with the General. Marzena wondered if there were more threats to her person that warranted this new addition, or if Ludolf had been motivated for reasons more closely related to their growing affection for each other. It was difficult to tell; for she felt like they were forced to balance on the thin edge between their business relationship and their personal one. Though, she liked to think it was because he cared about her.

Marzena had offered her new bodyguard a brief nod, regarding him with polite indifference. There would be time to get to know him later on, for now she wanted nothing more than to leave Lantibba City. She turned back to Ludolf, she let her eyes plead with him and silently voice her wish to no longer linger here. He may have even felt the tiniest pull on his arm, she was impatient, but she would do her best to keep up appearances until they were in the privacy of his apartment.

OK-3103

Captain Meneer Chrome
"You okay?" said the police officer's voice. There was a mumbled reply, probably from the elderly woman. "Lie down. You'll feel better."

"Shut up." said a voice, a new one. Tan Man, thought Meneer. He'd know that voice the next time he heard It. You'll get yours. Nothing personal, just business.

They heard the police officer and the targets again. Meneer paused. Every word counted: the officer was probably risking death or at least a smack in the mouth with a blaster to speak at all.

"Here, son, let me have a look at that chrono... wow. that must have cost you something....what kind at business you in, then? Where you from? What's your name?"

"Quiet."

"Okay, keep your hair on. I'll just sit here with these two... okay, sweet-heart? Don't worry..."

"Shut up." Thwack.

The tug on Vaas' arm did not go unnoticed, and he saw the tension in Marzena's eyes as his woman silently pleaded with him to leave. She could not put Lanteeb behind her soon enough, and truthfully, neither could he. He had not expected the operation to be so hard on Marzena, nor had he expected so much resistance from the planet itself. The intervention from the Mandalorians was a surprise - a troubling one that would have to be looked into later. But for now, Ludolf would retire to his apartment back on Dosuun with Marzena in tow. The battle had left him in need of rest.

As he began to escort Miss Choi out of the arena's underbelly and towards their transport, a First Order officer approached Vaas from the other direction.

"General! General Vaas!" The officer's tone was unusually whimsical as he flagged down the General. Weary-eyed, Ludolf turned towards him.

"What is it, Colonel?"

"I bring good news from Verkuyl," The officer responded, a pleased smile apparent on his face. "The planet's leadership has heard of our conquest of Lanteeb and wishes to parlay. The word is they wish to pledge their loyalty to the First Order."

Vaas' expression changed in an instant. Suddenly bright-eyed, the General stopped walking and devoted his attention to the Colonel completely, while Marzena was still on his arm.

"Has a delegation been sent to Verkuyl?"

"Yes sir," The Colonel affirmed. "They will be landing within the hour."

"Good... good," Ludolf said, scratching his chin. "Carry on, Colonel. It seems this will be a historic day for the First Order indeed. It seems we will be achieving far more than our original goals."

Max was sitting up in his seat, bracing for the moment the ship emerged from hyperspace. He took a deep breath, then suddenly he was out of the jump and First Order ships came into view. The jump came out pretty close, and the number of ships was certainly intimidating, but he was hoping it would give him a head start.

After a moment of travelling forwards, no doubt startling the fleet, he was hailed on communications. "This is First Order space, state your intention" a stern voice came through the speaker.

"I'm here on order of First Order intelligence. I thought you would have been informed recently?" Max responded as he continued cruising forwards.

"Hold for a moment, we'll check" the voice came back. As soon as he got that response, Max engaged shields immediately and went full speed towards the planet. A ships' guns started firing at him soon after, where one shot managed to strike a glancing blow, causing the ship to shutter, but still continue. Reaching his intended spaceport dock, he made a swift landing, ending with a resounding bump. A figure then appeared at one of the doorways, and approached the ship.

"Nice night for a walk" the figure exclaimed. "Even better with a few drinks I brought along" was the gleeful response. The cargo on the ship was then hastily unloaded by others who emerged from the door, after which Max was taken to a tucked in local house.

Sitting at a table with a holo-emitter, a map of important locations on the planet was projected. "Let's get started, shall we?"

Dunames Lopez

Megalomaniac CEO of Star Tours
Objective: 4
Allies: First Order

Upon landing the Pullman of Teth on the landing pad of the Seventh Heaven resort, on Lesrekta Island, Star Tours was looking at the disgraced beach resort, which had only two vacationers in it, one in stormtrooper uniform and another human, each in a pool lounger made of white plastic. Too bad she was a Polydroxol assuming human form: she couldn't tan at all. On the bright side, she couldn't have sunburns either, She was looking coldly at the stormtrooper for signs of treason, whether Galactic Alliance or otherwise, but she did not seem to have found any. The two men were on beach loungers, but the stormtrooper couldn't get any tanning done while he had his armor on. What could he possibly do on a beach that can be done with his armor on?

"You there, what's your service number? Why did you leave your post?"

"98-3-FM; I'm the only First Order survivor of the attack on the resort. Everyone else was killed in combat, Alliance or First Order"

"Lead me to the resort's owner"

"But the resort's owner is right next to me"

The resort owner is a rather elderly human, almost entirely bald, and takes another sip of beer while Dunames approaches the pair of men on beach loungers. He approached the man in bermudas, which had no armor or weapons on him, thinking that he must be the resort owner.

"This place is in poor repair. Looks like we need to have a business deal closed here, sir"

"Are you sure that you can get the place repaired and get business back on track? For years now there has been virtually no business"

"I'm surprised this place is still in operation for so long; I suspect moneylaundering is the main reason for why"

"Moneylaundering? I need to see my accountant"

"The resort's accountant is dead, sir: she fought valiantly to protect the resort, but she was killed by the First Order for his crimes"

"The resort's accountant was a Resistance sympathizer? You might not share the accountant's guilt but now that you're the only left to answer for the resort's crimes. For one credit, in the name of the First Order, I'm buying the Seventh Heaven resort" She then turned to 98-3-FM. "98-3-FM, at one point you will be running the resort for Star Tours."
