STRENGTHS

• On a budget: Compared to the D-1300, the D-1200 is relatively less costly to produce and maintain while still remaining a potent combat asset

• Supermaneuverable: Compared to other similarly sized vessels, the D-1200 Star Destroyer is quite maneuverable for a ship of its class, especially when it activates its AIMS system
• BOOM: The D-1200 possesses no shortage of firepower, as is evident by its numerous mass driver cannons, heavy ion cannons and proton torpedo tubes

WEAKNESSES

• We have the D-1300 at home: Being a "budget" version of the D-1300, the D-1200 is somewhat less capable than its more advanced cousin is
• Generic: The D-1200 does not possess the NZ HP2 Heavy Turbolaser Turrets or Quad Barreled NZ RTL1 Launchers of the D-1300, making it relatively weaker. The D-1200 shield system is also inferior to that of the D-1300
• Glass cannon: Though an undeniably powerful combat asset, the D-1300 is relatively fragile when compared to most similarly sized vessels, and must rely on its superior performance to survive combat
• Automated: Should something happen to the ship's A.I system, it would cause significant problems for those on board, due to the vessel having a smaller than normal crew in most situations

DESCRIPTION

As undeniably impressive as the D-1300 Star Destroyer is, it is also rather expensive to produce and maintain, and may not always be the right choice for more "budget conscious" customers of the N&Z Umbrella Corporation. As such, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant has created a toned down variant of the ship that is less expensive to acquire but still a potent threat to enemy units.

Like its more advanced cousin, the D-1200 has a near identical performance to it, being both fast moving and highly maneuverable. The D-1200 is also similarly armed, though its swap out the NZ HP2 Heavy Turbolaser Turrets and Quad Barreled NZ RTL1 Launchers for more generic Mass Driver Cannons and Proton Torpedo Tubes.

The D-1200 is even more vulnerable than the D-1300 due its weaker shields and energy reactors, and must take care not to get caught out in extended engagements against enemy ships. That being said, the D-1200 is a fine addition to any navy, one that is also capable of fulfilling a variety of different roles while also being able to cause maximum disruption to enemy formations.
