Cut To The Feeling (Open)

It had been surprisingly easy for her to obtain an image of her Master. All she had had to do was wait for him to leave on a time sensitive mission and snap a quick shot as he did so, the nature of the mission had then ensured that she had had time to make use of that image as she saw fit while he was out prowling the shadows of the galaxy. Of course, the manner in which she had obtained the picture had not exactly been optimal and the image was not what she would have preferred to use, but, the Right Hand of Darth Lykos had been trained to make use of what was available to her and so she had simply made do.

The fact that she had had to take the picture from a concealed camera in the elevator, one that wasn't exactly well-lit while he was in his robes hadn't helped in any way. Nor had the fact that she had had to greatly crop it to hide the amount of weaponry that had still adorned his form as he had been in the midst of concealing them - sure, she was pretty confident in the knowledge that someone would have probably preferred that image, but, she knew that a couple of the weapons he still utilised, particularly the poisoned darts and other utensils, were evidence in unsolved murders and exposing just who owned them would not have been a smart idea; and would have probably garnered 'training'.

The advert for the app had been brought to Tiae'khta's attention by the giggled words of one of her targets a few days prior before their untimely death and, upon looking further into it, she had seen the use of it. The Sith Magic ritual Darth Lykos had subjected her to upon accepting her into his service ensured that she could not act against him, that her loyalty was steadfast and unwavering and, as such, the only way for her to strike out against him was to do so in ways that would bring little to no harm against him - pranks, essentially. This app served such a purpose.

Humming a meaningless tune to herself as she reclined upon the settee within her and her Master's private quarters at the Black Adder, the assassin finished typing up the details on Darth Lykos' profile - avoiding mentioning the Darth title, listing his occupation as Mercenary and Gladiator and estimate his age (28) and height - smirking as she did so. Looking upon the finalised profile, the woman who often kept herself emotionless and stoic allowed the quietest of giggles to bubble up from the back of her throat to accompany the smirk.

Putting aside the datapad, Tiae'khta pushed herself off of the settee and wandered into the next room to polish her blades. She'd wait to see her Master's response to what she had done when he returned and, hopefully, someone who have 'swiped' one way or another by then, giving her some ammunition against him. She was loyal, yes, but she was not so loyal to the point of mindlessness.

"Well chit," Dante muttered. Rish looked up from his own wanderings through the app. "Hmm?"

"I put 'a good time' in the little blurb thing twice," she grimaced.

"Whatever Dan, no one reads those anyway, they just look at the pictures."

She mulled for a moment then shrugged, leaving it alone. Besides she couldn't figure out how to edit it and she didn't want to ask him again for help if she could avoid it. It was idiot proof, or it was supposed to be. Hit a button, connect. Not being able to figure it out without help was annoying.

She was conservative at first, left, HARD LEFT eesh four eyes and a whole lot of nope. But at some point she realized, wait, why? Other than the lightening bolts, totally infinite resource. So unless the picture made her ovaries want to crawl into her throat, she started swiping right.

She did swipe left on [member="Xerxella Zanteres"] (intimidating beyond belief she was pretty sure she could crush her head with those thighs), [member="The Slave"] (boy needed to get out in the sun more often), @Haon Hafrey (that lip ferret looked like it was about to crawl right off of his face). [member="Okh-Verg"] (unholy hell that wasn't getting anywhere near any of her anything)

[member="Seamus Valik"] got a lightening bolt cause hot damn.

[member="Wedge Draav"] was the first one that did anything weird after she swiped right. She looked confused.
"Hey Rish, the app's broken." He looked over.

"Oh, no, it just means he already swiped right on you, so it auto connects."

"Huh. Oh chit, he's a pilot."

Rish made a face. The rivalry between ground and air was legendary in any military. Oh well. Cute face though. Too bad he was a fighter jock.

*Bloop*

Dante dropped the pad.

"Oh, someone lightninged your profile."

"I knew that."

She returned with a right swipe of her own at [member="Jorryn Fordyce"]. Normally she preferred men, but she didn't cleave particularly hard to that line.

Right, right, right, then it connected again with [member="Arken Lussk"]. At least this time she knew what that meant.

"Maybe I should start reading these," she muttered and Rish laughed.

"Another pilot?"

"No, a motherfecking teenager."

Rish burst out laughing so hard that when Dante threw the pillow at him he fell over.

Right right right, basically she swiped right on them all except the scary ones until-

Right

"OH CHIT"

Rish looked up in surprise as she kept muttering 'chit' over and over as she frantically tried to swipe left on a profile she'd already swiped right on.

"How do I undo a right swipe?!?!"

"Um. You don't?"

"Chiiiiiiiiit."

She fell face first onto the bed and he peered over to see [member="Morgan Vance"]'s smirk staring up at him.

"Ohhhhh honey."

Haon would have been in the cafeteria in the Convention Hall as he sipped on his third caf, keeping himself awake as he rubbed his eyes very lightly. Soon it will happen, he needs to stage the timing just right. Rubbing his forehead, he looked to the side as a smaller sullustan approached him. There was small conversation as Haon slipped him a rather good credit chit as he patted his shoulder a bit hard.

"Pleasure doing business Mr. Janus. I would done it for free though credits help the cost."

"Likewise. We never met."

"Yes Mr. Janus, good day."

The Sullustan left quickly as he came up to him. The ruckus of the convention started to get louder as there was muttering as people stared at a Human walking nearby, the one that cancelled the SLAM II project. As he walked over, Haon slowly got up and moved over towards him as people started to part ways as he got up to him, speaking one more time yet it was in a calm tone.

"Know what...you were right."

"I was? Why the change?"

"Well life projects can be of course changed or killed. Mine was more dramatic...you were right, nothing is worth beating yourself over. I do wonder...where are those blueprints?"

"Oh this?"

The human pulled out a datachip as he looked it over then looking at Haon, flicked it right at him as Haon scambled to grab it as the Human leaned down, whispering something rather menacing as it was filled with venom.

"It won't happen Haon...take that chip and shove it straight up your arse...I took your credits and will do it again to others...now...walk away little slinger."

Haon looked up as he slowly stood, he was a bit more menacing though he complied, walking away. Holding the chit rather tightly in his left hand, he would stick it into the datapad as it beeped a few times in a mono tone before showing the stastics of the SLAM II project...one he helped tried to invent. Saving it, he then pulled out the chit and snapped it in two, tossing it to the side. It was a mess of a design, one no one should see though he knew he can save it himself. The chatter was getting louder as they were announcing the CEOs departure, a shuttle arriving as it was an old Senate Shuttlebus. Haon slowly walked out as well, watching him give a long drawn out speech. When it ended, there was a chorus of booing with some cheering the new direction, those being in suits. As the Senate Shuttlebus took off, stretching into the sky, Haon slowly lifted his datapad. Flipping through the apps, he found the one he desired and looking up, pressed the on screen button.

A silent explosion rocked the sky as Detpacks detonated on board the Senate Shuttlebus before giving a small shockwave as it blew wind the people, screams starting up as Haon breathed slowly before fitting into the crowd, starting to very slowly walk through them to get away and leave the convention before they completely locked it down. Knowing a lot of things will soon come to head, he would take one of the monotrains nearby as he did not care where he went, he just needed to get out of there. Uninstalling the app, the train would close the doors and a few seconds later and would move quickly on the rail to another section of Coruscant.

Breathing a bit harder, he did not know if he would get away with something like that...again. Looking out the window, he can see already several fire prevention units being dispatched. The great legacy of a scammer, going down in flames from an actual engineer...seemed fitting for such a person. He felt a small vibration though on his datapad as he opened it up. Why did it vibrate? He would notice that he matched with someone on Nebulove which was a bit unusual. It was that Dravol woman...oddly enough, this terrible day was becoming slowly bright as he started a chat message with her, not knowing to of course talk to others.

[member="Xerxella Zanteres"]
"Evening Mamn, I see we have matched a while ago. Sorry for the delay, had to swat an annoyance out of the sky. How are you doing?"
He would leave it at that, he really had no real dating experience nor understood much aside from being polite. The train would kept going as he looked back, smiling just a little more as the news would pop on about the CEO though it was gone quickly for other news...though he wondered how long this will stay around for, regardless...it was time to leave Coruscant.

*Bing*

Seamus looked at his datapad halfway through a third pint of lager and closed one eye to bring the images together. His friend, Fitz, looked over and nudged him with his elbow.

"Bloody good lookin one, that." He said or that is what Seamus assumed he said around the sluring.

Seamus looked at the profile and looked at the picture then read the profile again. He had not been on a date in a long time. The closest thing to it was meeting a Jedi master in the library once upon a time. He looked at the woman's smile and the playful look in her eyes.

"Seems nice enough." He said as much to himself as to Fitz. "It has been a long time and she likes to dance."

"Dew eet." Fitz drawled. "DOOOO IIIITTTT!"

"Why not." Seamus said as he opened the messenger, "She is incredibly pretty, yeah?"

[Hey gorgeous. Saw you like dancing and the occasional drink. I'm at a pub and the music is good. How about a bit of fun and I'll buy. Sending the address. Invite is open.]

Seamus put down his datapad and toasted with his friend.

"Here's to a good night." Seamus said with a genuine smile for once.

"Here's to pretty birds!" Fitz replied and they both drank.

The curiousness around the pale man grew more as he still made his way around giving Jorryn a name, the feeling of distrust with him grew equally strong and ignored. She had never been one to go into something with caution, letting opportunities pass because of some nagging feeling.

"Sounds like a tempting offer, I might be able to make a short stop." He was brazen and to the point, something Jorryn enjoyed about [member="The Slave"]. "Send the coordinates whenever you want."

The Echani's mind turned towards her other matches, specifically the woman [member="Dante Sotari"]. Jorryn's lips twirled with a look of disappointment as she realized she had forgot to send an initial message along with the lightning button that she had pressed, a mistake that she would correct immediately.

"So you're looking for a good time?" Fingers quickly typed in the message as her foot again began to circle in the air, the attractive portrait of the woman coming up reignited the excitement Jorryn felt. "How does drinking, dancing, and a night you'll regret sound?"

"And if that isn't quite enough for you I'm sure there are other activities we can think of." The Echani bit her lip as she sent the last message, hoping the her bluntness would be appreciated.

Jor Kvall

Ain't found a way to kill me yet
There was something to be said about the state of the galaxy when women had the power to choose potential suitors with a simple swipe of the thumb. Jor had been warned of the depravity that existed in the Core Worlds. But Jor was also youthfully ignorant, and all the things that came with it. So against the judgment of wiser men, he dove head first into the sea of degeneracy that was Nebulove.

Proving even Mandalorians could be totally hip and cool and not simply boomerpost all over the holonet, he had no trouble making his profile and changing the settings to only see women. Unlike many other Mandalorians, he did not hold down the caps lock key when he wrote his profile.

Jor interacted with the first few women he saw.

He swiped right on @Ananta.

He swiped right on [member="Dante Sotari"], she seemed kind of cute.

He swiped right on [member="Jorryn Fordyce"] for the same reason. A pattern was developing.

And against his better judgment, he swiped right on [member="Xerxella Zanteres"]. She probably wasn't his type, but... I see milkers, I swipe right. Life is that simple.

Val had never really done anything like this before. It was her first time interacting with people through the holonet instead of in person. But, she grew tired of seeing the same old faces on Ensolica. She wanted to go off world, but wanted to make some friends beforehand to perhaps be a tour guide or perhaps go through new experiences with her. She was recommended this service called Nebulove. She was warned that creeps frequent the app, but she knew better than to fall for those. In worst case scenario, she was capable of defending herself. First, she had to set up a profile.

Val Aranda, 29

Enso Artist

Just a girl looking for someone to travel with. Need to be adventurous, open-minded, and have a sense of humor. A love for ice cream is a bonus.

"Just a few pictures to add for flavor and..done!" Val had finished her profile and started looking for those with similar interests. After a few minutes of not finding what she was looking for, she just swiped right on everyone. Perhaps there was more to these people than their profiles could tell.

She would have closed the app and never opened it again if she thought it would help. Probably would have even if she didn't think it would help. But a pair of blips came in, one on top of the other and Rish gave her a nudge.

"Someone's messaging you, someone you matched with."

Muffled, from in the pillow.

"Check if it's Vance? If it is, just.... burn down the barracks."

As it turned out, it wasn't, and Rish was able to shove the unit back into her hands and make her look up from the pillow. It was a good distraction, even if she felt like an enormous twit, and she fired off a pair of responses.

[member="Seamus Valik"]

[Hey yourself. Sounds like an excellent plan. Save a stool for me if you think you'll still be there in an hour.]

[member="Jorryn Fordyce"]

[Takes a lot to make me regret. I'm down to see if we can manage ;) ]

Lesson learned after, Dante read one more before-

"Alright, I'm done."

"What?"

"With this site. I'm done, that's it. Forget it."

"Why what happened."

She turned the screen toward Rish and he read it, nose wrinkling.

"Sarlac pit? He's refering to-"

"Yuuuuuuuup."

"It's time to put the comm down, Dante."

"Don't have to tell me twice. Besides. Someone offered to buy me drinks."

Emergency

"Now arriving at 500 Republica, please do not disembark until the automated doors open. Next terminal is the old Senate building..."

The Tetan tucked the datapad into her purse as the screen began to flash, gathering her things to exit the maglev train. She was in the heart of Coruscant now, at a terminal just beyond the famous building that towered above the rest no less. "All on my own for a few days, I guess." She said as she stepped out from the train, the behemoth of a building already well within view - a building that was visible from practically anywhere not obscured by the curvature of the planet. Lily had been kind enough to let her use the guest suite that was attached to her personal vacation penthouse, which took up the entire floor. She glanced around as she made her way towards the hoverbus stop, checking to make sure she wouldn't accidentally walk into anyone, and then promptly retrieved her datapad from her purse and activated the screen.

The look on her face, needless to say, made her surprise at the number of downloads quite evident. Over six million accounts within the first hour of launch? She hadn't really paid too much attention to the actual advertisements themselves, those that had been put out before the actual launch of the program, but it was clear that she'd have to pay the head of marketing more at this rate. After she closed out of the administration data menu, and as she walked up to the holobus stop, Nadja read through the notifications she'd received as a member - more specifically for those that had struck her profile with a lightning bolt. Thus far it appeared to be just one, which was still a surprise considering she'd rarely had many men seek her out - probably because she was usually in the company of people that absorbed all of that kind of attention - and read the message attached.

If you're around tomorrow, send me a message. I'm settling in for the night - long trip from Teta! Sorry!

If she was being honest with herself, she wasn't sure she'd really live up to her end of the bargain - and she felt awkward answering his request in the first place, but, then, she never really knew what it was that the opposite sex was interested in.. beyond the obvious. It was, roughly, that moment that the hoverbus pulled up, of course, so naturally she had to look away from the datapad when the folding door opened to let her on. "Good afternoon." Nadja said to the droid pilot, receiving a slight nod of a robotic head and a silent buzz in response as she dropped her fare into the slot in the shoulder of the droid and took her seat. Like a teen lost in a romance novel, Nadja was back into her brainchild.

She swiped right on [member="Seamus Valik"], of course, as she felt obligated to after reading and responding to his message. Another right on this tattooed [member="Arken Lussk"] person, he looked attractive enough. Most of the rest were swipes left, either because of their profile's stated description or because they didn't fit her idea of a potentially ideal date, but there were a few that drew her attention that, had she needed to approach them in person, she would have likely chickened out of before she could even approach them. [member=Val Aranda], in this instance, got a swift lightning bolt with a message accompanied:

I'll bring the ice cream if you bring the adventure.

Val's holopad quickly notified her of a reply to her post. "Wow, that was kinda fast." She quickly picked upt he holopad in anxious anticipation to see who found her post interesting. "Aha! Got someone!" Val took a moment to look over the profile of [member="Nadja"]. Val bit her lip with excitement as she replied to her one message.

Awesome. You give me a time and place and I'm there!

Now, Val would just wait for her reply. Val went into her closet to find something she could wear. "She wanted adventure. I'll give her adventure." Val stripped down to her underoos and slipped on her coolth suit. She'd need it if she was going to go offworld. She shifted through all her clothing, most of it wasn't really made for any kind of adventuring, until she eventually came across a night leather and fur outfit she bought a while back in case she required mobility over style. It was still a pretty banging outfit, but nothing compared to her usual gowns and dresses she wore on Ensolica.

Beggin for Thread

She had hardly the time to glance out the viewport of the hoverbus when the datapad resting beneath folded hands atop her lap vibrated and let out its customary chime, signifying a notification was waiting for her to reply to. She'd half expected it to be one of the two men she'd halfheartedly selected moments ago, as she was quite used to that sort of initiative in the social circles she frequented, but was instead surprised to see the lone venture into uncharted waters displayed on the screen instead. Truth be told, Nadja had never actually been in any kind of real relationship - she'd had the nominal boyfriend to appease her parents when she was in boarding school as a teen, but never anything that went beyond assuring her parents that she was not going to let them down in the only remaining way she could - which, of course, was giving them a grandchild. For all intents and purposes, really, she'd never even felt any kind of interest in pursuing one until recently, watching Lily stumble over herself while trying to get a solid relationship going had, in its own strange way, triggered something in her that piqued her interest in seeing what it was all about. The relationship thing, that is, and why someone would try so many times to get it right.

And, honestly, when she had perused the application a minute or so back there hadn't been any prejudice in her mind over the idea of potentially pairing up with a man or a woman - she wasn't on speaking terms with her father, and her mother still regarded her as a failure and a child only in name, so she wasn't the least bit concerned about their approval. Realistically, she hadn't ever seen a difference between the two genders - she had found some members of both groups to be equally attractive, but even those were few and far between. @Val Aranda, in this case, was certainly one of those few - but Nadja also hadn't quite expected such a quick response, although she supposed that she had taken the initiative herself in this instance. "What a surprise.." She mumbled, looking up from the datapad to observe her impending arrival to the tallest building on Coruscant.

Coruscant, 500 Republica building. Fifty-Sixth floor guest suite, the sooner you get here the better. PS: I'm taking a spoonful of ice cream hostage for every hour you take to get here.

She had no intention of eating anywhere near close to all of the dessert - she hardly had a sweet tooth, really - but it was a way to coyly suggest that now was Nadja's desired time, not that she expected anything as impractical as that to happen. It would still be a minute or two before the hoverbus brought her to the front entrance of the building anyways, and it'd probably take her another three in order to get to her floor after that.

Val finished putting on her clothes then rushed back to her closet. "What shoes..what shoes...Ah, here we go!" She grabbed a pair of brown boots and slid them onto her feet and zipped them up. And then, her datapad went off. "Another new friend, maybe?" Val checked herself in her mirror before returning to the datapad. "Oh, it's her!" Her excitement could be carried in buckets. "Coruscant? That isn't far at all. Perfect!" Val quickly gathered her things and left her home. She didn't want to ruin her first impression so she had to move fast.

Val hopped into her family's Courier-class yacht located at the estate's spaceport. Once on board, the driver greeted her. "We're going to Coruscant, Julian. And we've got to get there fast." Val informed her driver. He bowed in response and moved towards the cockpit and started up the ship for takeoff. The yacht rose from the spaceport and left the planet's atmosphere. Once in space, the yacht entered into hyperspace. Meanwhile, Val poured herself a glass of champagne while looking through Nadja's photos. "She seems like a nice girl. Very fun. Cute too. I'm excited." Val kept swiping through Nadja's pictures until her yacht re-entered real space.

The trip was rather short due to Ensolica's distance from Coruscant. "Julian, to the 500 Republica building, please and thank you." Val called out. Her driver turned the ship for the building she was going to and moved smoothly to the correct area. The ship landed and Val left for the Republica building. She hadn't been to Coruscant in some time, but the time for sightseeing was later. She had somewhere to be. Making her way towards the repulsorlift, Val checked herself to make sure she didn't have anything that might mess up her first impression on [member="Nadja"]. You only get one of those so she would make it a damned great one. She stepped on the repulsorlift and pressed the button to take her up to the 56th floor. Once she made it there, she found the guest suite and knocked on the door. She stood there, awaiting for her knocks to be heard.

While Val was preoccupied with finding the right pair of shoes, Nadja was going through the clothing room - a room Lily had insisted be kept full of clothes that rivaled the shelves of a small store, stocked full of things from Coruscant Fashions that Lily had bought more or less without her knowledge when they were still inseparable after university. There was a certain nostalgia to being back in the gigantic walk-in closet, although she brushed it off when the adrenaline rush started to set in. She rummaged through tops, bottoms, socks and shoes, tossed around scarves and accessories as though she hadn't a moment to lose. Her heart was pounding in her chest, although the only outward sign of excitement was the small smile on her face - something she'd always made fun of Lily for, and it felt rather alien to be so excited over just meeting someone. "Come on..." She grumbled, allowing a frown to set in when she couldn't find her favorite shirt. Knowing her luck she had probably left it in her room on Teta.

But when all was said and done she had settled on something cozy, nothing too exotic or intimidating - she didn't want her guest to think she was as mindless and thick-headed as the opposite sex. A comfy white cotton top with sleeves that were just a little too long, and a smart-looking blue skirt to match - nothing too eye-catching, she wanted to accent her own look and not take away from it. A little lipstick here, a little eyeliner there, and just the right amount of perfume - the kind that smelled faintly of berries - and she was ready to go - just as Val knocked at her door.

'Have I ever made fun of Lily for spending an hour to get dressed?'

She didn't want to keep Val waiting, but at the same time she wanted to keep up appearances.

A moment or so later and Nadja was at the door, which slid open to reveal her with a spoon in her mouth and a tub of mint chocolate chip ice cream in one hand, missing a suspiciously spoon-sized scoop from the top, and another spoon in the other. With a little practiced effort, and a slight flush of color in her cheeks as she realized how obnoxious this might seem, she shifted the spoon to the side of her mouth and stepped back from the doorway. "Hi!" Nadja said immediately, catching herself quickly before she said anything silly or forgot her manners. "It's nice to meet you, Val - I'm Nadja, as I'm sure you've probably guessed." She explained while she waited for her to walk inside. "Full disclosure, I only have mint chocolate chip on hand. I do have a burrfruit sorbet, though, if that's not okay." She added.

Val stood there outside the door, wearing what she'd call a comfortable outfit and had an amused look on her face. "Well, you've already taken a bite so we might as well finish it, yeah?" She laughed and stepped into the room. "Nice to finally meet you as well, Nadja. You're much prettier in person." she added. As she came in, she looked around the room. She didn't show it but she was impressed with the living situation of her companion for the day. She knew that she'd be in for something just because of the building, but this was something else.

Thankfully, this feeling of amazement was drowning out her nervousness.

Val moved past Nadja to look around a bit more, her curiosity pulling her along. She removed her jacket and laid it across the back of a nearby chair. She twirled around and looked at Nadja. "So," she began as she looked around, "where's my spoon?" she added. "Unless you were planning on sharing that one." She leaned in towards Nadja, a single finger pointing at the spoon and a sly smirk on her face.

[member=Val Aranda]

For someone that had grown up in the in the circles of Tetan nobility, surrounded by wealth and with parents that had made it a point to be a part of certain social circles, Nadja had never quite been the socialite that many of her family members and friends had been. For the most part, she'd been the daughter her parents had kept away from prying eyes - a girl they'd been embarrassed for having, because of her boyish figure and her awkward personality. It wasn't until they'd tried to push her into becoming friends with the Kuhn twins that really had any friends of her own, which wasn't until the middle of her teens.

Great for giving advice, not quite so good at fitting in.

While Val walked in, relieving herself of her jacket on one of the chairs nearest the door, Nadja shut the door, blushing at the compliment she'd been given. Trying to not appear too eager - which she, indeed, was not, although her nerves might have disagreed with that - she tried to follow her in at a slower, more casual pace. She was caught off guard, however, when questioned about a second spoon - or, more accurately, sharing the same spoon. In reality she'd had another spoon in the hand she wasn't holding the small tub of ice cream with, but at the same point she hadn't considered sharing one - and wasn't too sure if she should have taken the question seriously or not.

"Well I have another one, but if you want to share.."

Her voice trailed off, but she gave the woman a curious, almost questioning, look - searching for a reason to go with that idea, the other spoon now held against the inside of her arm as if to coyly remove it from sight.

Val could not help but giggle a bit at Nadja's suggestion despite Val herself suggesting the idea. She found herself a seat at the island in the center of the kitchen. She looked at Nadja with her sharp blue eyes, her teeth sinking into her own bottom lip as she admired her from afar. Not much has happened since Val had walked into her abode, but she hasn't had this much fun in quite a while. Val was so used to sitting in her home and working on her art that she hadn't experienced many social interactions.

It was a cold, lonely world Val had put herself in.

She wanted out of it though. That is what brought her here. Alone with another lover of ice cream. A good looking lover of ice cream, at that.

"Whichever you'd prefer, love."

[member=Val Aranda]

Val certainly didn't need to repeat herself, though Nadja could feel her cheeks flush with color in response to the blonde's amusement, and she sat the spare spoon that had been in the hand not holding the tub of ice cream on the table and made her way to a spot on the sofa beside her guest. She kept a tiny amount of space between them - this was their first time meeting, sharing a spoon for ice cream or not, so she didn't want to assume how comfortable Val was with being any closer than they were not - and sat the tub on her thigh so it was as accessible to Val as it was to her. "So you mentioned adventure before you got here - do you get to go out on those kinds of trips and stuff a lot?" She asked, trying to make conversation, as she placed the spoon that was meant to be shared into the center of the tub of ice cream.

The idea of going out and seeing the wonders of the galaxy beyond the core was something she'd always marveled at, though she never really acted on that desire because of her prior job as a secretary of sorts, and how busy work had kept her up until now - what with starting up the very company that had introduced the two to each other. It was still an attractive idea, and the notion that Val had some more experience there was certainly helping keep her interest up, but she was far more interested in visiting exotic and different worlds with someone else, even if only to experience the tranquility and beauty of planets like Erida or Rakata Prime. "Up until recently I've been more preoccupied with my job than I have with actually going out and just seeing the galaxy, it's definitely something I'd like to do." Nadja added. She leaned her head back against the cushion on the sofa and sighed longingly, perhaps a little dramatically, then looked over toward her guest with interest.

"Ever wanted to just drop everything and go see places?"

Val decided to walk over to join Nadja on the sofa, sitting on the cushion next to hers. She was almost immediately fully relaxed as her form was pressed into the soft cushions of the sofa. She looked over at Nadja with her icy blue eyes as she spoke, giving her the full attention she deserved. She referred back to the message where Val mentioned adventure. She nodded in affirmation to her question. "Yes, I do go on plenty of trips. Things tend to get quite dull on Enso. Nothing but ice and snow and frozen cities as far as the eye can see. You tend to get bored when all you see is alabaster, you know? I enjoy seeing a multitude of colors. Fresh fruit hanging from trees, animals running free through fields of blooming flowers, people enjoying each other's company. I enjoy it all. Don't see much of that on Enso, so I take the chances I get to go out and see what I can. I suppose I got tired of doing it alone, which is why I contacted you. When I saw you, I saw someone who needed an outlet. Someone who needed someone else to tell them 'yes you can try this' or 'yes you can go here'. Someone who needed a friend. Maybe, even, something more than a friend."

Her response was followed by her grabbing the spoon from the tub and getting a spoonful of ice cream for herself and eating it. "I can't say I relate. I don't really have anything to drop when I want to go somewhere. I'm a sculptor and a painter so wherever I go, my work comes with me. Travelling is part of the job, basically. What do you do for work? If you don't mind me asking, of course." Val returned the spoon to the tub. She had a bit of ice cream on her upper lip, which she promptly licked off and followed up with a soft giggle.

If it was one thing Nadja hadn't seen, it was a frozen city - though she had not seen a great many things, but seeing as how it was brought up moments ago it was something that popped out to her. A week ago, or maybe a bit longer, she'd been made aware of the abdication of the throne by her friend - her best friend, really - and that had put her back, put her family back, in the position of power they'd held before her distant relatives had taken the throne. Her father, naturally, put all of his political weight into taking the throne - the very throne she knew that Lily would likely return to take back, considering where it was that the redhead had disappeared to. It was with Lily's absence that her responsibilities had vanished, which left Nadja with quite a bit more time on her hands and only this little marketing ploy to spend it on.

So, if she was being completely honest, aside from just owning the company itself - basically, she owned the company but had no actual hand in any of it, aside from the money side of things - then she didn't really do anything for a living.

"I used to work as an executive assistant to the CEO of Koros Spaceworks, and acted as her secretary while she was still the Empress of the Teta system, but nowadays I don't really, uh, do much. I was the funding for this program, actually - something that was pitched to me and I bought the application for." She explained, not really keen on mentioning her participation in the dating app. It wasn't that it embarrassed her or anything, she simply didn't think of it as much of an occupation or job so much as something she simply had financial responsibility for. "As far as traveling goes, though, I've really only been to industrial areas or large cities like Coruscant or Anaxes. I can fly a ship pretty well, though." Nadja added.

"I do think I would like to travel around, were someone willing to keep me company - or I, them." She mentioned, not quite offering but not putting much effort into being subtle either, as she reached for the spoon to take a spoonful of ice cream herself.

"Ah, the suit and paperwork lifestyle. You don't appear to be that type, but looks can be deceiving." Val flashed a slight smirk. "I'm, what most would call, too much of a free spirit for such things. However, do applaud you for being able to handle such responsibility. Takes a strong person to deal with all that and look as charming as you." Val was listening very closely to everything Nadja was telling her. She wanted to know everything about her that she could. She couldn't tell what made her so interesting, but she liked it. She felt like Nadja was someone she could truly vibe with. Someone she could talk with for hours without stopping. It was a warm feeling that she had only felt fairly rarely before.

"Not really a big fan of large cities. Far too much going on for my liking. Plus the heat gets unbearable sometimes, even with my coolth suit. " she replied. She didn't really feel comfortable talking about her coolth suit around non-Enso because her people are often ridiculed for their extreme sensitivity to heat. That and their coolth suit, at least the old version, made them look like a space man from some old holo-movie. "If that's your way of asking to accompany me on some future adventures, the answer is yes, I would love to have you join me. Could not think of anyone better to enjoy my travels with, honestly." Val smiled softly, her blue eyes seemed to glisten a bit brighter at this moment. "Did you have anywhere in mind you'd like to go?"
