STRENGTHS
Range: The Pistol's range is enchanted to be as long as that of a DMR, this means that, whether scoped or not, Carbine or not, the Pistol has far longer reach then one might expect
Moddable: It can accept armor piercing, incendiary, cryonic, electric, and acid rounds, can be converted to a scoped carbine in under a minute, as well as switch from Semi to three shot burst
Stealthy: It is enchanted so that, save for the trigger pull, no sound is heard while firing.
Apocalypse-Proof: Its sturdy frame and construction make it simple and easy to repair, as well as enabling it to fire after total immersion in water sand, mud, dirt, or snow.
WEAKNESSES
Accuracy: Despite its range, its accuracy starts to suffer after it leaves the range of an average blaster rifle. Just because it can hit you at DMR ranges does not mean it will.
Ammo Burn: Burns through ammo very quickly at burst fire mode
Ammo Scarcity: In addition to having less shots than an average blaster pistol, slugthrower ammo is hard to come by in the field, leading to necessitating the carrying of spare ammo, which may not always be desirable.
Force Voids: Enchantments will not function in Force Voids
Recoil: Keep a tight grip as the muzzle jumps, though experienced shooters can take advantage of this.
DESCRIPTION
The Cultist Box Carbine was a weapon preferred by agents of The Cult of The Brain Demon during the zenith of their influence during the Gulag Plague. A modification of a pistol known as the Kun'Lun Box Cannon, an Atrisian-developed slugthrower pistol exported in vast quantities due to its cheap but long lasting parts that are easily maintained to various worlds desperate for cheap defensive weaponry due to the collapse of military and civilian infrastructure. The first leader of The Cult, Darth Phyre, is said to have taken a liking to the weapon during what she called "A positively adorable attempt to murder me." and discretely acquired multiple examples for custom modification with blood magic. Distributed mostly to the Cult's elite enforcers, The Amalgam used this particular model for years before gifting Darth Vindel with it as both a back up and a way to teach him to kill beyond the Force or Lightsaber.
