A STAR WARS STORY
Corporate Revival

Entering 900ABY,

It is a time of great opportunity for the remaining galactic powers which have survived the galactic disappearance. With the closure of the Second Great Hyperspace War after the critical Battle of Exegol by the Galactic Alliance, there exist a fragile peace within the galaxy if only temporary. Major Galactic Powers that once formed the backbone of the galaxy such as the Empire and the Ashlan Crusade have fallen into disarray as rumors spread of a second awakening to come. Their collapse leaves vast swathes of lush territory unprotected and the perfect target for pirates and criminal syndicates operating in their former territories.

A group of like-minded businessmen and exiled military officials have joined together to form a New Corporate Sector Authority with the concept of forming a neutral zone incase a new galactic conflict emerges. With their power unsecure for the moment, the Authority gathers its resources on the industrial world of Ession to formalize the new corporate charter.

With the unfortunate collapse of the Ashlan Crusade and the Empire; former territories that once belonged to the Corporate Sector Authority have become exposed to pirates and criminal syndicates.

In order to protect the citizens inside these territories it is imperative that the gathering delegations meet on the Industrial World of Ession in order to make their demands regarding the foundation of a New Corporate Sector Authority which would administer and defend the native populations within their sphere of influence from outside invaders.

Former Military Officials from the collapsed factions have also gathered within the High Spire to join the ranks of the Corporate Security Division.

The Industrial World of Ession was going to be the final piece in a long struggle for corporate independence. Grumblepot had worked tirelessly underneath the Ashlan Cruade's Occupation of the World to promote investment through the region but the rampant religious dogma prevented any serious investment from occurring. The Collapse of the Ashlan Crusade and the New Imperial Order turned Empire afforded great opportunity for the foundation of a New Corporate Sector Authority headed by himself where corporations could thrive without rampant regulations.

Wyzior was aware that the Corporate Sector Authority was most often associated with the Ancient Galactic Empire and there was some truth to that as the Original Authority was founded under the reign of Emperor Palpatine. But this negative perception could be challenged by utilizing the Authority's Media Division once they became fully operational. Building a faction was considerably hard without human capital behind it and so holographic invitations were sent out to like-minded individuals and even former military officials from the other factions; telling them to gather at Highspire.

The meeting room was rather dim and lacking ornamentations, but it would serve the purpose. A single puff of smoke filled the room as large right hand grasped a smoking pipe while the left brushed a thick grey mustache. Grumblepot's aristocratic appearance would no doubt cause some concern to the more corporate members gathering here today, but it was merely as a way to showcase his wealth and influence.

"They should be arriving any second now" broke the silence within the room for the time being.

Corporate....

The mere mention of the word caused him to scowl with intense disgust; evident in the raising of a single eyebrow to announce subsequent displeasure. Corporations certainly had their place within the galaxy to some extent as they generated currency and allowed trade to flow unrestricted. However most of these companies were driven by profit over the populations they harmed which naturally caused him some concern regarding the successful launch of this New Corporate Sector Authority.

From a bothan contact he was able to gather credible evidence that Grumblepot was little more than a stereotypical corporate fat cat, profiting of the success of workers without giving them a fair share. The Chiss interpreted this personality trait to be the main reason that holographic invitations had been sent out to wealthy delegations. The Sector Authority would be little more than a personal sandbox for corporations to exploit and harm the citizen's within their borders.

Sabumo had fought against the New Imperial Order turned Empire during the Chiss Reclamation but was forced to go into exile once the Empire's Superior Military crushed any hope of a new chiss ascendancy returning to take what was lost to the Brotherhood of the Maw. The destruction of the Brotherhood did not resolve the lingering hatred within his heart regarding the chiss homeworld of Csilla which had been brutally and totally destroyed for nary a reason.

Such illogical thoughts could not persist in the Corporate Sector and he would make certain of that.

Soft boots entered into the Highspire

Moving into the rather plain gathering hall to take a seat next to Wyzior Grumblepot.

Not the only one who liked a show of wealth. The elevator rose up, and two Apex security guards walked forward. The senior doing a visual check of the room, he spoke on his wrist device and two more walked forward to stand at the sides of the elevator.

Arriving from inside, Mr Black and two assistants walked along the dimly lit polished floors. The infamous black briefcase was in one male assistant's hand, while the other was a woman who walked with an eerie methodical calm about her. They were dressed as you'd expect top executive corporate types to be. Sharp suits, and expensive cufflinks, but business-like and bristling with expensive high-end tech, visors, and implants. The guards had sleek black uniforms with the AX Apex logo, some with duraplest vests but most came just in their armor weave. Every one of them had the latest equipment and it was all in mint condition.

About twelve guards in all, most lining up against the wall. Black walked to the front where they were about to start, his female assistant ready to record notes, and his male assistant placing the heavy briefcase down on the ground. Which was never a briefcase at all. It would unfold to be a table, computer terminal, AI, and holoprojection device all in one, among other things.

"Well this was a welcome surprise." The Ruusanian looked to Wyzior, then to Rriss'aboumo'vrumi . The wrist device on the Apex executive alone was probably worth a small starship, the cybernetic implants he was bristling with another one, and the black briefcase was one of a kind. "I hear we have credits to make?" Always business and always ready to put himself in the best possible negotiating position, "what do you need from Apex?" Was the foot he'd start off on in any negotiation. Ready to sign contracts here and now to elevate his galaxy-wide corporation to new heights.

The Corporate Sector Authority, a concept far fetched from reality yet well grounded system which was enacted centuries ago. The elimination of large outer-rim factions provided a vacuum of power and initiation of the spread of chaos. Raeykmu was one of the various shadow-benefactors for the establishment of this potential nation, funneling resources from his criminal activities into the corpo-utopian project.

The Falleen made sure to arrive to the first official meeting fashionably mild in timing; not early yet far from late, balanced, as Raeykmu showcased himself to the public, a balanced individual who isn't Imperialist nor Democratic, simply neutral. Adorned in gold jewels with attire reminiscent of the Historical Black Sun Syndicate's upper-bureaucracy and aristocratic cologne, he was followed by an group of masked Corporate Enforcers with low level firearms. Entering the room he took note of the individuals, mostly Corpos who he didn't quite know.

"Salutations, gentlemen. I am Raeykmu of Ord Mantell', it is a pleasure to meet peers of likeminded ideals." He announced softly followed by a respectful deep bow and a step over to an unoccupied seat.

Folding his hands on his legs, he contemplated his next set of words before speaking..
"A position of power within' this newly formed government comes at a price...one which is hefty I presume. I am all but ready to invest startup capital into this venture." Raeykmu proclaimed, he played his cards in an aggressive manner of war and financial assets were simply pawns in the game, ones which he was almost unlimited in ownership of.

With a dry throat he coughed before raising his sharply nailed index finger to wave over a drink, the waiter of course obliging. The Falleen had to begin looking into the future, what would his position be? He needed power yet didn't wish to become a target, he simply thought.

If Black brought the latest tech, Blue brought the style. The opposite elevator ascended, probably intentionally picking the opposite elevator given their history. To have these two in the same room at all was a minor miracle. On any other day they would have killed each other if not for the large potential for credits. Since the Hutts' collapse, her position had both been strengthened and weakened. Weakened because the Consortium had lost almost all of its influence to the black sun, but strengthened because with Goros out of the picture, there were none left to challenge her dominion over the remaining Cartel assets or supporters. In effect, being the last one left standing that she knew of, she now ran the remaining Hutt Cartel.

Representing Fire For Effect she came with an array of her own Twi'lek assassins, all deadly, all beautiful, six in total, and their weaponry was second to none. Every one of them was in their own style of dress armor, lacking uniformity, they nevertheless each looked professional given the setting, dressing appropriately for who they were meeting. There was a sense of extravagance and luxury over the business and corporate attire.

Not a word was said, taking an approach of listening before speaking had always served Blue well, her style of negotiations was to read others first. She had a single thought on her own mind, a want to track down her sister Nima Tann Nima Tann and for that, she would be willing to negotiate a large price. A single charismatic red male Zeltron stood ready to speak for Blue, who herself was actually playing the role of her body double two paces back, if anyone noticed. Few ever did.

When the Falleen spoke, the Zeltron bowed charismatically and then again to their hosts. They waited to hear the proposal patiently. A couple of the Twi'leks glanced at Black's entourage, clearly a tension between them, but they were at ease for now.

HIGH LORD OF ESSION

The return of the Corporate Sector Authority was a foregone conclusion.

The Trade Federation was constrained in their galactic operations, seemingly stuck in the vacuum that was former Imperial space. The Commerce Guild was sitting pretty in the Core, consigned to utilize their bully pulpit in the Alliance Senate and extract as much money and prestige and power as possible through bribery and what one might describe as
aggressive negotiations. The unfortunate collapse of several galactic governments had reshaped the corporate world, and with both gigantic mega-conglomerates preoccupied there was a void. And so began a mass scramble to gain control of the raw resources seemingly left behind on thousands of worlds.

The moment was ripe for the entrance of a new galactic power. One that could bring the rabid dogs to heel, less they all destroy themselves in an endless series of trade wars, commerce disputes, and corporate intrigue.

When Wyzior Grumblepot made the call, and had come to Ession, Tristan had been inclined to agree that the revival of the Corporate Sector Authority was necessary to maintain order - though the former Grand Admiral suspected he and Grumblepot likely had very different motives in coming to that conclusion. Nonetheless, he was there, as was the full might of Ession and the Zero Corporation, sitting next to the would be ExO, quietly awaiting the arrival of the others and the beginning of the meeting.

FINAL DAWN
ESSION, CORPORATE SECTOR

The return of the Corporate Sector Authority was something that had caught the attention of Marlon Sularen, especially given the many opportunities that came with such a recent development. The idea of a neutral zone where various types of corporations both big and small could thrive uninterrupted was one that was appealing for the High Regent of the Final Dawn, especially given how most governments across the galaxy tended to posses a certain black-and-white way of thought, forcing planets and organizations to take a side in the many conflicts they partook in, unable to accept any sort of compromise or middle ground. For them it was either you embraced their ideals or be wiped off from the map.

With the Brotherhood of the Maw's collapse leaving the Final Dawn without any major sponsors and vulnerable to hostile powers such as the Galactic Alliance and the Rimward Trade League, it was vital that Sularen seek new allies and/or partners that could help him endure these uncertain times. The restoration of the Corporate Sector Authority provided the High Regent with an opportunity where he could secure multiple partnerships with various corporations along with going as far as relocate many of his own corporate assets to a more secure area where they would remain out of the reach of nefarious individuals and groups of interests.

As such when he'd heard that a summit of high-profile businessmen and former military officials was to be held at Ession in order to formalize the restoration of the Corporate Sector Authority, Sularen did not hesitate to head for Ession in order to join them, determined to secure new corporate sponsors and partners to further advance his own goals and ambitions. Hopefully, these people would be more rational then the dimwitted Imperial Warlords he had
encountered at a similar summit at Eriadu, a while back.

UI4ODIx.png

Sularen soon entered the meeting room, where all the other individuals attending the summit were present among them being the man behind the restoration of the Corporate Sector Authority, EXO Wyzior Grumblepot and none other then Tristan Evore Tristan Evore , the CEO of the recently-formed Zero Corporation which had set up a few facilities on the world of Schesa, which was under the de facto control of the Final Dawn. Flanked by his trusted assistant by the name of Colonel Rackham and escorted by Two Raptor Commandos serving as personal bodyguards, the High Regent proceeded to take a seat and wait for the proceedings to begin while Rackham stood beside him and his Raptors behind.

He was interested to see how this meeting would transpire and what type of plans they all had for the Corporate Sector Authority and if he was lucky, he would be able to avoid the same outcome that had befallen him at Eriadu and secure his long-desired corporate partners and allies in preparation for his inevitable confrontation with those who sought his destruction and the annihilation of the Final Dawn., and ensure it's eventually rise to power.

The Corporate Sector Authority was certainly going to be a tough project to get off the ground compared to other factions that might arise from the great galactic disappearance. Bringing different corporations into the fold was going to present its own challenges from logistics to defense, but Wyzior hoped that the delegations arriving very soon would alleviate some of this concern. The first person who actually arrived into the Highspire Meeting Hall was a rather old chiss officer Rriss'aboumo'vrumi. Black Uniform was neatly pressed with a single admiral rank bar stitched on as an indication of status. A veteran officer would provide adequate leadership to the new power's armed forces should they actually reach the galactic stage.

Soon after the chiss took his seat next to him, did a Corporate Executive by the name of Mr Black Mr Black walk through the doors with attendants and bodyguards. Clearly he was a man of great wealth and influence given his style and wanted to know straight away what the Corporate Sector Authority needed from Apex. A rather bold man but he could not directly refuse his much needed resources. A Falleen Raeykmu was next on the board after introducing himself to the other delegates. He also was rather bold but wanted to invest human capital into this venture.

A twi'lek Tadietti Tann Tadietti Tann made herself known to them after some time bringing her own entourage into the room. Although there appeared to be some tension between both entourages but they would not disrupt the meeting as of yet. Wyzior was noticeably concerned about these characters and weather or not they would be able to band together to form a power to rival the Galactic Alliance, Sith Order and the Rimward Trade League.

Sitting next to him was Tristan Evore Tristan Evore of the Zero Corporation & High Lord of Ession who was fortunate enough to provide him access to the Highspire for the planned gathering. Although the man who entered next was more of a concern than anyone else within the room, High Regent of the Final Dawn Marlon Sularen Marlon Sularen who made himself quite known within the Brotherhood of the Maw. There beliefs were a direct threat to the Corporate Sector and must be handled carefully.

It was time to begin the meeting.

"I would like to begin this gathering by stating that I appreciate you accepting my invitations and to Mr. Evore personally for providing us a chamber for these proceedings." A simple opener for the meeting but breaking the ice was important for cooperation between them moving forward.

"Moving on from there, the event I am calling the Great Galactic Disappearance presents us with a single yet golden opportunity to form a powerful coalition of corporations and former military officials. There will no doubt be times during this meeting that tensions will run high between former enemies and friends within the chamber. But I can assure you that should we set aside these differences for just a moment, we can form a power to rival anything that stands against us." The first part of this speech was to call to attention the opportunity that they now had to form a new power within the galaxy and secondly to acknowledge that they would not all agree with each other.

"Before we get into the core discussion regarding the formation, I want to know what you are willing to commit to this cause. Once that is known, we can figure out the hard logistics and potential complications that will arise." Wyzior decided to halt his main speech for just a moment; wanting to know what each delegate would be willing to give up to support the faction.

Red glowing eyes shifted to the doors of the Highspire Meeting Room

The delegations had arrived in quite sizeable numbers although each looking for how they would benefit from the formation of the Corporate Sector Authority. There were several interesting characters of note from Mr Black Mr Black whose outfit screamed corporate, to Raeykmu who was more than a little eager in his support for the project even if all the details that not been ironed out yet among those attending. The Falleen has a species did have a reputation for dabbling within the criminal underworld, with the most infamous individual being Prince Xizor who had quite a noticeable rivalry with the Chief Enforcer of the Galactic Emperor Darth Vader during the Galactic Civil War.

Shifting over to the blue twi'lek Tadietti Tann Tadietti Tann whose followers had a clear tension with those of Mr.Blacks but they kept it civil for the most part. There was an air of uncertainty around the chamber which made him pause to some effect, the chiss liked to be informed at all times in order to make the most logical decisions but unorthodox discussions like this was past his experience. The man sitting next to the potential ExO Wyzior Grumblepot in the form of Tristan Evore Tristan Evore was more deserving of praise with his military background which would provide them an advantage over hostile powers should the Authority go to war.

A more prominent frown came to pass when Marlon Sularen Marlon Sularen entered into the room, a known affiliate with the Brotherhood of the Maw which had destroyed the chiss homeworld of Csilla without remorse.

"The Chiss Colony would be willing to commit its officers and remaining arsenal to the cause of the Authority if that answers your question. Lord Grumblepot. Although before any further discussions can proceed or be announced" Saboumo choose words carefully and consider all alternatives before committing to be blunt as possible to convey his displeasure.

"I am naturally reluctant to join forces with the High Regent and his cronies before they make amends for destroying Csilla and scattering my people underneath the Brotherhood of the Maw. "

HIGH LORD OF ESSION

The Grand Admiral - or High Lord, but at this point all the fancy titles Tristan held over his long life mattered little - eyed the entrance of Marlon Sularen Marlon Sularen suspiciously. He and Sularen knew each other very well, afterall they had both served in the Imperial Directorate together but that foray had ended rather terribly on Sularen's end. In fact, a short schism in the Directorate had led to the founding of the Zweihander Union. So understandably, Sularen had a chip on his shoulder and Evore didn't blame him one bit.

Afterall, if your mini-empire had been co-opted by ne'er do wells, you'd get a bit upset too.

As the rest of the invitees seemingly arrived, Grumblepot moved to officially open the meeting, including a brief mention of Tristan's generosity. He made note of the opportunities presented to the corporate representatives present and the void left by the collapse of several galactic governments. Issues he had discussed with Evore before this meeting, but it was nice to know the man was consistent. Then he opened the floor to a hypothetical conversation regarding what members would be willing to contribute to a restored Corporate Sector Authority.

The first to speak was the elder Chiss military office seated across from Tristan. Seemingly the highest ranking official of a well-established Chiss Colony in Corporate Space, Rriss'aboumo'vrumi was quick to offer the full support of his people. Good. They knew their secretive society would have to adapt in order to survive. But he noted something Evore and perhaps Grumblepot would've preferred to side step, at least for now: The destruction of Csilla. He demaned reparations on the part of the Final Dawn - a rather reasonable request, but he suspected Sularen would be cagey on the issue.

Nonetheless, as he awaited the response from both Grumblepot and Sularen, Tristan moved to speak. "The Commonwealth of Ession is more than willing to join any restored Corporate Sector Authority. With it, access to our industrial capacity and shipyards. In addition, the full might of the Zero Corporation will stand behind the CSA" He assured Grumblepot. "But I'd prefer if the
Golden Forest was left alone, but we can discuss that issue at a later date"

Many came all with their own background and no doubt ideas, positioning themselves. Black only knew one, the rest were a mystery to him, giving a nod to each one politely if they made eye contact. Admirals, executives, and perhaps criminal minds. He was a simple but driven man. Profit and technological development were his calling cards. Their host immediately flipped the negotiating script and people were pledging what they would offer. It was a shrewd business move and something Black had come prepared for.

Balen nodded to his male assistant, who turned on a holoprojector from the former Black Briefcase. No sound, it displayed various publicly available details about Apex in holographic three-dimensional form. Their many personal technologies, droids, ship weapons or equipment, their future plans in shipbuilding, and their first capital ships. It showed the many subsidiary companies and their works, which got a distinct glare from the Twi'lek's group. Finally their current and projected profits with their growing market share.

"Esteemed colleagues. We can meet your needs in a wide range of technologies to better prepare this venture for higher returns. As businessmen and people of intelligence, I am sure you can understand. Our costs need to be paid and our business kept profitable" Anything he invested Black would expect a return on, there was only the bottom line for him and nothing else. No charity here.

"We also have a long-standing reputation for technical expertise, droid infiltration, and have recently commissioned our own security and civil defense force. All of which could, for a respectful fee, be engaged by this venture."The final projection showed a line of new apex security vehicles and their professional security forces unloading, a variety of droids with them. There were rumors of a battledroid battalion or two in development also, that they may or may not have heard about, as well models of infiltrating HRD that apex were known to use. "This is just the cusp of what together we can make profitable."

Ending with a large AX logo and their tagline: Together with Apex, you are purchasing a profitable future.

The projection turned off, and he straightened his suit, casting a glance at the twi'leks as if to stay top that.....

Looking at Black. Well! The red male Zeltron speaker would give it a try! Standing to deliver his presentation, he turned to the supposed Tann who was running the show, and got her permission to start. The real leader of this group still sat at the back watching it all.

Their Zeltron speaker would speak of all the "many different testing facilities across different planets," the "huge, diverse and always growing weapons catalog", hinting at their different influence "with various underworld groups." The many varied information sources that Fire For Effect could draw from. He was charismatic and charming enough as Zeltrons often were.

Meanwhile from the seat behind him, the Twi'lek playing Blue's role would occasionally nod to him or lean over to offer a word. Instead, all of Tadietti's attention was on everyone else, and how they reacted, who moved first, what they said, what their positions were. She'd lived this long and seen the fall of three different Hutt Cartels by being cautious and smart.

There was no need to declare who she was or what her interests were beyond her company. Because if you needed to know, you knew, and if you didn't then that worked in her favor as well. Information was power and everyone here was offering it up for free.

Only once did she move at all. Someone might have caught it if they were especially concentrating or just very observant. Her hand moved downwards as if to brush her dress. A hand signal that was spoken verbally into the ear of her body-double, and soon led to the Zeltron giving a flourishing bow to finish when he got the order. "That is why at Fire For Effect, we have a gun or solution for any problem. Thank you all for listening."

The growing clique of ambitious individuals spoke their piece in relation to background, Mr. Grumblepot calling the group to attention now. The large bureaucrat speaking upon the topic of resources, he wanted to know what everyone brought to the table. The first to speak up was a blue Chiss who pushed a piece which one could label as 'Military & Bureaucratic Aid', the Chiss being willing to donate his brethren and their skills to the Potential State yet not failing to mention the High Regent who was a notorious galactic criminal. Raeykmu made a mental-note of the Admiral who he classified as an individual which could prove beneficial in way of militarism or defensive warfare and in general a military investment. He also did a slight nod at the Regent, an individual who he saw as a potential associate.

After the commentary was complete, an individual to which Raeykmu knew as the 'High Lord of Ession' spoke up, the man claiming that his government would align itself with the CSA & his private-company would stand behind the CSA. The High Lord was someone who interested Raeykmu, a religious man filled with the vigor of Ashlan zealotry yet participating in backroom deals, how...normal. The last two was 'Mr. Black' & a Zeltron Rep, the duo speaking their respective lines of 'We Will Support You In This Endeavor' or so. Raeykmu rubbed his chin as he eyed the Zeltron & and more so Twi'lek , a species who he liked for their beauty yet this one in particular showed hints of Machiavellianism..Familiar, hmph.

As everyone finished, the Falleen leaned back in his chair and locked his fingertips before pondering something; then speaking up "All of these individuals bring something regardful to the table, Mr. Grumblepot, if they keep to their word and I assume they will...The potentiality to create a successful juggernaut nation-state is unlikely to fail." He said first off, addressing everyone in the room with a neutral tone; his words being a mixture of skeptical attitude and hopeful support. He paused in silence, then continuing - "I bring to the table, mmm - no, at the moment my Lawyers are drawing up corporate-initiatives and in days or so we'll see the construction of a multi-industry clique, to be frank I bring extensive domestic-growth via corporate-alignment, my companies will see an influx of jobs and importation of goods and in general wealth to the state which be." Raeykmu said, speaking the words of a corporate-executive.

"I also bring to the table more, what is the word...? Extensive Services to whoever aligns themselves with our stance, Mr Grumblepot, ones which could be beneficial to all and most importantly you." He finished in a dull tone. These services for the moment being unknown, though those in the room could put two to one and assume what he meant yet they could of course be wrong. The Falleen then straightening himself back up and crossing his legs further as he waited for a reply or commentary upon his words, now sipping upon his drink.

FINAL DAWN
ESSION, CORPORATE SECTOR

After Sularen took his seat, Tenebris Bougaiza began to speak, talking about the opportunity that lay Infront of the individual present and urging them to set their differences aside. Unlike Tarkin he did not bother to make any sort of passive aggressive remarks about Sularen, which was already a good sign in Sularen's eyes, one that indicated that this mean atleast was somewhat rational, for a former Jedi that was. While Sularen had a particular distaste for Force Users and didn't trust them, he was still willing to make exceptions as long as they were reasonable and were useful to his own ambitions.

After the ExO finished his speech, the many other attendees began speaking up with some proclaiming their support for this new Corporate Sector Authority such as the Rriss'aboumo'vrumi, the leader of a Sect of Chiss Refugees and Tristan Evore, the CEO of the Zero Corporation which Sularen had been at odds with recently, while others presented their ideas and opinions on the matter. What caught the attention of the High Regent however was Saboumov's statement as he made it clear that he and his Chiss Refugees might not join the Corporate Sector Authority unless Sularen gave them some form of reparations, something which the others had not addressed.

Once Raeykmu finished speaking, Sularen proceeded to speak deciding to first address Bougaiza's inquiry on what each member had to contribute. "The Final Dawn has amassed a vast amount of Wealth and Military Equipment throughout the Second Great Hyperspace War. As such we can provide the Corporate Sector Authority with the necessary Weapons, Vehicles, Starships and other sorts of Equipment needed to strengthen Corporate Security Forces as well making use of our Intelligence Assets to facilitate the gradual expansion of the Corporate Sector and integration of new planets." Sularen said.

He then turned to address the Chiss leader's concerns. "As for the demands for reparations for the destruction of Csilla, I'm afraid I'll have to politely decline your demand." Sularen proclaimed. "As the ExO has said himself, it is imperative that we set aside our differences in order to be able to fully take advantage of the opportunity to lays infront of us and create a new galactic power to be reckoned with. If you and your Chiss followers are uncomfortable compromise and join forces with the Final Dawn, then you are free to leave this conference and this project altogether as we already have our own Chiss Officers that can fill the gaps left your Chiss Colony" The High Regent spoke in a calm but authoritarian and assertive tone, as to make it clear that he would not cater to the demands of the Chiss Colony, after all he had nothing to gain from conceding to their demands for reparations and the Final Dawn still held significant clout and military power in comparison to the Saboumov's Chiss Colony.

While awaiting the answers from the delegations, it gave the former Jedi Master time to evaluate the question posed to them. The Foundation of a New Corporate Sector Authority would benefit each person at the table but these corporations and former military officials were investing valuable time and resources into something that might end up as a failure. They were naturally going to hold back the majority of their investment until the groundwork was secure. Glancing over to Admiral Rriss'aboumo'vrumi who was the first to speak up, pledging full support from his Chiss colony and their remaining assets. Although he did pose a good if problematic point regarding working with a known war criminal from the Second Great Hyperspace War who had destroyed the Chiss Homeworld of Csilla.

The Count wanted to hold off on such a discussion until a later time. He understood perfectly well that the tension within the room was going to negatively affect the nation's creation. High Lord of Ession Tristan Evore Tristan Evore was next to proceed; giving the full support of the Commonwealth of Ession and its industrial capacity to the Corporate Sector Authority. Although did make one stipulation regarding the Golden Forest which could be discussed at another time. He could tell that Evore was going to be a valuable ally in the coming months.

Mr Black Mr Black was willing to bring technology and security assets to the table but wanted to secure payment to keep his operations profitable which the Iremnu Aristocrat could understand. But this was hardly the time to ask for compensation when the power has yet to be founded and lacked coffers to tap into. The twi'lek Tadietti Tann Tadietti Tann was offering testing facilities and weaponry, along with underworld support should the Authority need it.

Raeykmu of Ord Mantell was quick-witted and manipulative, positioning himself as an invaluable asset by bringing a lot of skills to the table. He would also make quite a valuable ally in the coming months with creative ideas and solutions. Marlon Sularen Marlon Sularen of the Final Dawn was offering the use of its arsenal and material wealth which would prove useful for defensive operations but there also posed a risk to the security of the New Power should their symbol be used alongside the Authorities. Additionally refuting the words from the Chiss Admiral as was expected.

Once everyone was done speaking, it was time to respond with a moderate tone.

"Your invaluable contributions to this new power will certainly give us an edge over our competitors on the galactic stage, And I want to assure each member here that their investments will be paid back in full once the funding becomes available." Tenebris started with a sweeping right hand to each individual member at the table. Wanting to reassure them that whatever they put into the faction will be given back in due time but not right away as some might expect.

"Additionally I want to address the rising tensions within the room before we officially proceed. The matter of Csilla is certainly a controversial one with both sides of the issue having valid viewpoints. But if we are to join forces then events that have happened previously need to be disregarded for the sake of the Authority? No?." He addressed the tensions within the room immediately instead of waiting for them to boil over in order to make all parties involved content for the moment. "But surely there is room for the High Regent to simply issue a statement of apology for displacing the chiss population? I am sure that you can relate to being displaced by the Galactic Alliance moving into Mawite Territory" Casting a subtle glance over to the High Regent of the Final Dawn, not asking him to give anything but simply apologize for his actions and be done with it so they could move forward.

After that issue was settled then he would proceed with his next statement.

"Our position is certainly a precarious one. The Sith Order is likely to sweep into the area that once belonged to the Ashlan Crusade to reclaim their lost planets. Are there any ideas on how to halt their advance until we have time to form?" Tenebris left the question open-ended to get as many ideas as possible from the members here.

R E V I V A L
HIGH LORD OF ESSION

Tristan's eyebrows raised as Marlon was next to speak. As he expected, the requests of the Chiss colony were quickly refuted by the High Regent. But, he didn't expect Sularen to offer the full support of the Final Dawn to the burgeoning Corporate Sector Authority. Most unorthodox and quite frankly dangerous. Any revived CSA didn't need to enter into existence with a powerful faction - namely the Galactic Alliance - arrayed against it.

But that was a problem for another day.

No instead Tristan listened intently as Tenebris Bougaiza began once more. The former Jedi Master had earned the respect of the ancient Anzati warlord, as he had approached the galaxy not through the lens of the Jedi dogma but from that of an ordinary denizen. It was not easy to disregard one's teachings - afterall Evore had been one of the most powerful Ministers in the Ashlan Kasierreich and yet seemed perfectly okay with disregarding the extremists when they no longer were necessary - or capable - to protect the people of Ession.

"A united Sith Empire was a long time in the making" Tristan explained as Tenebris finished. "It was foolish for the Ashlan Crusade to ignore the emergence of the Sith Order and it would be foolish for us to disregard their growing power"

He paused. "With that being said, we are not the Crusade or the Alliance or even the Trade League. We would be able to find some type of agreement with the Sith. Preferably an amicable trade deal that includes an ironclad non-aggression clause"

Raeykmu adjusted his robes as he finished his commentary. Turning his head as his long braided hair swung around; he offered his services and his corporate juggernaut 'entity' to the Corporate-Sector Clique, an idea to which his enforcers nodded in agreeance, foolish sycophants' they were. Whilst sitting silent another individual, the High Regent, Marlon Sularen Marlon Sularen , spoke his piece which was full of upfront offers of dawn-aligned services to the potential State. The Regent also produced words of slick and cold atmosphere which were directed to the Chiss, Raeykmu simply putting his hands up to his face in a prayer-motion as though he was annoyed though this was simply a move to hide his growing smile. Marlon was a walking entity of Dystopian Totalitarianism but profit could always be made with one of his liking.

Moving on the Calculating Warlord which was Tenebris Bougaiza spoke up, addressing investments, tension & the Sith Order; Sith, he bit his tongue almost going back on his words regarding the profitable nature of the High-Regent yet simply nodding his head at the Sith's mentioning, State-Capitalism was less laissez-faire but of course it was still capitalism. The final to speak was Tristan Evore Tristan Evore who addressed the Sith problem utilizing the normal words of a bureaucrat, the falleen of course nodding.

"I do believe there is...Some tension based on pass events but I must make the assumption that the businessmen which we are wouldn't let personal-feelings get in way of once more, business." He said in a hesitant voice, addressing the tension comment before moving on. "I do believe it is our best interest to take note of this Sith problem. The Sith Civilization is inherently Hegemonic in relation to Galactic-States, placing an emphasis on expansionism and warlike foreign policy; a problem which could prove...troubling." He started off, speeding his words up yet they left a bitter taste in the atmosphere.

"To avoid subjugation, I agree with Mr. Evore, we must sign a non-aggression pact. We should also approach the Sith with a Bilateral Free-Trade Pact, reduction of tariffs and exchanging of commercial wares to promote increase in national growth on both sides. The Sith are expansionist yet some unorthodox individuals are merchants at heart and they need to feed their domestic industries." Raeykmu said in a professional manner, his words being an extended twist on Evore's commentary. Simply diplomacy between states, nothing too extravagant. "In addition we could send a research-attache to the sith, promotion of scientific and technological-advancements." He finished, now staring around the room.

The Corporate Sector Authority

The furrow of a brow

Red eyes scanned the room as the various delegations were ready to donate resources for the new government for a variety of different reasons beyond our current understanding of events. The Corporate Sector Authority would be able to survive where more traditional factions had not such as the New Imperial Order turned Empire which had collapsed due to overexpansion. Preparing for the worse was important when war comes to your doorstep.

The Second Great Hyperspace War had taught military officials a valid lesson that being unprepared was a death sentence as the Brotherhood of the Maw slashed through the Core Worlds of the Galactic Alliance in an attempt to take the Capital of Coruscant but had ultimately failed. And so there was little time to waste in preparing various battle strategies for the inevitable conflict to come, as these times of peace were only temporary in an ever-changing galaxy.

Glancing over from polished seat as the High Regent Marlon Sularen Marlon Sularen refuted demands for reparations for Csilla as was expected for a despot leading a desperate faction of Neo-Imperials. His other remarks were less than ideal but there was little point in getting heated over the words of a despotic tyrant certainly not in front of the other delegations.

Holding his tongue for now until Tenebris Bougaiza made a valid point that the past was in the past and should be disregarded if the Corporate Sector Authority was to survive its formation. Accepting this logic was not difficult for the Chiss Official as the next question posed by the ExO was regarding the Sith Order looking to reclaim their lost planets once held by the Ashlan Crusade.

Tristan Evore Tristan Evore was the first to comment explaining that the Ashlan Crusade was foolish to ignore the reemergence of the Sith Order and that the Corporate Sector Authority could make a non-aggression treaty. Raeykmu was also in agreement with signing a treaty with the Sith including sending a research attaché to promote inter-cultural exchange.

"Signing a treaty with the Sith Order would prove beneficial to some extent. But if push comes to shove then we must prepare whatever resources we have on hand to defend ourselves from their natural aggressive tendencies. The best method of defense is a good offense, and in that manner, we can form strike forces composed of carriers and smaller craft to act as a deterrent. Admiral Saboumo explained.
