Cry Havoc, and let loose the Strills of Waaaaaar! (Mandalorian Dominion of Bastion)

For several weeks the Mandalorians had been getting ready. The commandos on the ground were working in several government buildings as laborers janitors and so many other jobs all around the fortress world.

@Aeden Miles [member="Strider Garon"] among others were on the ground running operations while Ordo, [member="Mia Monroe"], and others made up the Large Mandalorian Fleet.

The count down began and a few minutes later the stars elongated shrank and popped into position.

The 6 Star destroyers dropped out of hyperspace with the ancient Keldabe-type Dreadnought in the lead. While the many support ships and frigates dropped out in unison around the world. The world was under seige from one of the largest fleets Ordo had ever personally commanded and the promise of more on the way.

The communications opened and Emperor @Roan Fel was named as the potential target of the transmission.

"The is Field Marshal Ordo Ar'klim of the Mandalorian Expeditionary Fleet. We are here to offer you the chance to surrender or be Invaded." Ordo paused his voice cold and hard. "You have one hour to respond."

Ember's fleet was something a little different.

He loved the Contruum, his Azalus, but the Haran'uliik had the edge on speed, and he'd opted to maximize a couple of things. A full dozen Haran'uliiks disgorged their starfighters and gunships to aid Ordo's fleet. The Haran'uliiks got to work on their own, taking up a loose position beneath and behind Ordo's ships.

 

[Gilamar Skirata]

"Get back to work! It ain't like yer leavin' any time soon so get your kriffing nose out your chrono and get back to moppin'!"

There was his 'boss', a fat twi'lek male and top grounds keeper of the palace. His puffy cheeks were slick with the sweat that blessed his round face from the effort of moving his fat shebs around. Not for much longer however. The black and orange chrono around his wrist told him that Ordo and his fleet had just appered overhead. With a smirk the old man looked up, barley able to see the Mandalorian Star Destroyers that hung just out of reach of the planet's gravitational field. The massive ships seemed more like specks, but the screaming TIE fighters overhead told a different story.

Pulling the soaking mop from the durasteel bucket, he slapped it onto the ceramic tiles, sloshing the dirt in circles until the grounds keeper was out of earshot. Raising the chrono to his chin, he tapped a button on the side sending a message to all Ori'ramikade on the ground, "Operation Cry Havoc is go. Let loose the strills of war." Of course the message wouldn't be played immediately, that would blow some of the more delicate covers. Instead the chronos would blink once and then the orange light would pulse around the rim of the high-tech chrono signaling that a message was waiting.

Setting down the wooden mop he unbuttoned his shirt's first and second button and made his way to the janitors' locker room. It was time.

 

[Pa'Kar Sang]

Jaden stood, a fake smile and a fake laugh. He was surrounded by the Bastion Defense Force. His post.

He was surrounded by people whom thought he was just one of them, part of their corrupt, violent, honor less lives. The truth was, Jaden despised them and when his chrono started to flash and pulse his heart skipped a beat. Backing away from the joking men and women he moved into the supply closet, unnoticed. "Operation Cry Havoc is go. Let loose the strills of war." Gilamar's voice played from the device and his smile just wouldn't fade.

It was time to get to work.

 

[Sea'ika Vel]

Having hair pulled back, the falseness of her smile upon her face told everything. Knowing more then anything it blessing the training with in the force she had to fool those that came calling thought they had such a good time. In away she had gather the information need. Doing what called upon in this time by the Mand'alor himself.
It wasn't on her wrist her upper thigh, it vibrate twice. Shoeing out the rest before locking the door, Bring the piece up looking upon "Operation Cry Havoc is go. Let loose the strills of war." This bring a smirk to her lips twisting into a laughter. Making her way to her closet, when another one of her callers knocked. Waving her hand upon it make him go way. Coming to the fact what pulling out wasn't another outfit. Only bring back the words she had with [member="Gilamar Skirata"] "I'll be darn if I'll going to wear that do that I'll rip there balls off before that filth touching my melon. Giving him a killer look, then just chuckling. fine but your going to so owe me after this mission, old man. Stomping out of his office with stem rolling off her body, this Kiffar was showing on her face how upset. Why could she had a job like mopping the floors at less she knew how to do that, not something like this.

Flashing to the present knowing that this was best information, just how many high ranking would come calling on mistress like her, this feeding all the intel to Gilamar for sometime, codes, enter points weakness into their systems all from their weapons to defense system. Putting on her true skin, that felt nothing more then her being naked, it was her beskar'gam. Coming to feel her own weapons of choose a bowcaster, and sniper D-17 rifle in the other. [Ralize Darkfeather]

She was elbow deep in engine grease, leaning into one of the Emperor's prized landspeeders. It hadn't been running well, and the established engineers hadn't a clue as to what was the matter with the finicky vehicle. It was obvious to her eyes, but then, things like that generally were. One look at an engine and she just somehow knew what was wrong. What could be tweaked to work better. What would need replacing soon. It was a somewhat frightening ability she didn't understand in the least and hadn't mentioned it to anyone - at all - not her brothers back home, not her vod on Mandalore, and certainly not to Kad. Her stomach clenched at the thought of him, a sensation of dread threading through her senses, and she pushed it out of her mind.

Ralize couldn't afford a distraction just then - she didn't know where he was, or even if he'd been called to help on Bastion. Worrying about what might happen only served to invite the trouble you generally wanted to avoid.

She heard footsteps behind her, the heavy, dragging cadence of her boss, a galactic mutt in more ways than one. Erik stood well over six feet tall and had the swagger and ego he must have carried in his youth. Now granted, back then, he might have been able to back it up - she'd seen enough holopics and heard enough stories in the last few weeks about his 'glory days' that she could have recited them on her own. But his glory days were long, long gone, and now he was little more than the chief mechanic of the Emperor's ground vehicles.

His hands, she had noted early on, had a habit of wandering. Welcome or not, he saw the maintenance garage as his domain withing the palace grounds, and everything within it as his property. That included the new young mechanic that had arrived some few weeks back, with a recommendation from an old buddy of his on Nar Shaddaa.

This time, the footsteps stopped and Ralize knew he was staring at her. Watching her with that gaze of his that made her sick to her stomach every time she caught. She'd been careful since she'd arrived, ensuring she was never alone in the shop after hours, or even during the day if it could be helped. Today was his day off, however, so she'd taken the afternoon shift over for someone who called in at the last minute, and now, she was in the precise position she didn't want or need to be in. She had no doubt she could take care of herself, but she couldn't take the chance that doing so might get her in enough hot water to blow her cover.

Her wrist comm flashed with an incoming messaging, silently scrolling the tiny Mando'a characters across its little screen. "Operation Cry Havoc is go. Let loose the strills of war." She never thought those words would come at so welcome a moment as that one.

Forcing a cheerful smile to her face, the young mechanic glanced over her shoulder. "Hey Erik! Didn't expect ta see ya on yer day off! I'm done with this here speeder. She's ready to go..." Her voice was as bright and bubbly as she could make it. Turning back to the engine as if simply picking up her tools, she hummed a tune as she gathered everything into a tray, a fully loaded Dissuader tucked neatly beneath a pile of rags. Just in case. Turning around with the tray in her hands, Ralize realized he was alot closer than she thought her was. Either her senses were failing her, which was unlikely, or...he wasn't as human as her Nar Shaddian contact had said he was.

She was beginning to feel like she'd been set-up when she called this favor in, and she didn't like it one bit. Retribution would come swiftly enough for her contact, but right now, she had the problem of her boss who was taking the tray out of her hands and setting it aside. How had he even moved that fast, she mused, too startled to keep hold of it. He placed one hand on either side of her effectively pinning her in place, his gaze traveling up and down the shapeless jumpsuit she was wearing. "Now, I aim to see for myself what Brik was talking about when he said you came highly recommended...so what's say you-"

"I say you're karking lucky I don't have time to kill you right now." Her voice change in an instant, from the forced brightness to her usual thick Nar Shaddian accent.

Apparently, whatever species he was, driving a knee into his groin did the same thing it did to most. He staggered back and doubled over in pain, which left his head at the perfect level for a roundhouse kick that sent him sprawling to the floor unconscious. Just to be sure, she retrieved one of the tranq darts she had hidden and stuck him with it, before so thoroughly binding him with everything she could get her hot little hands on, that it would take several people hours to free him at best.

 

[Neskar A'toll]

Neskar prowled the deck of the destroyer he was assigned onto as if he was a wild animal, sniffing fear out of any man beside him. Fear would have to be purged. It was weakness in war. Fortune favoured the bold, and so they must become bolder than they had ever been. His beskar'gam covered his body with the shield he had adorned for years past, the men assigned to him saluted him as he approached the hanger bay. It was time. They were all ready, armoured and armed, and so was he, gripping his slug-thrower rifle like an old friend. Neskar stood to attention, before the array of gunships waiting for them.

"We, the few, are to move onto the hyper-velocity cannons, and destroy them. Eliminate any resistance, crush them underfoot as if they were mere dust. Fear is forbidden. If it arises, force it down, push it away so it can never hurt you" he began, glaring at those who failed to make eye-contact with him through their visors. He addressed them personally, looking down at them with brilliant vision, a glint in his eye and a confident manner in his addressing. He breathed once more, and turned to face the gunships, then snapped his body back around in a precise motion. He continued, bringing up the very spirit of his being into his words. "In peace, there's nothing so becomes a man as modest stillness and humility; but when the blast of war blows in our ears, imitate the action of the tiger; stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood! Temper fair nature with hard-favoured rage! On, you most noble Mandalorians whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof! Cause havoc to these men of grosser blood, and teach them how to war! Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit to his full height! Onwards! To the ships we go, to death we fly, to war we soar! Par Mand'alor! Par Mando'ade!" he yelled, the company of three dozen echoing his last words, raising their fists triumphant into the air, as if they had won already. But the call of war was too lustful to resist, and the men ran towards their gunships, passing Neskar whilst passing jests of a confident nature. He was pleased at that. Confidence helped considerably in times of war. If one believed they could, then they would surely do so. He pulled himself aboard the lead gunship, and the small flight of four left the hanger bay, at the beck and call of Mand'alor of the surface. Tumbling past the fleet, in a downwards spiral toward the planet surface, Neskar glanced out of the window to spot countless other gunships accompanying the flight. This will be good. There shall be blood.

 

[Matreya]

Great. Just karkin great. Damien thought as he shoveled another load of crap from the stalls. Hired by the Janitorial services of the district, the man awaited his commands. They had been topside for a time now, many Mandalorians worked and bled on the planet strictly so that when the time arose they would be able to answer the call.

The robe he wore, that would disguise the fact he bore a full body of armor, swung loosely in the wind. Suddenly his chrono blinked, and a slow grin spread on his face. Listening to the second long message, he no longer attempted to hold back his excitement. Instead he reached out to grip the lip of his helmet, which he then placed over his head.

After the click that signaled that his helm was in place and going nowhere, Damien launched into the skies. The flames beneath his feet carried him to the roof of a nearby home - barely a story tall and horribly furnished in Daemos' oppinion. Moving about the nearby scenery with his eyes, the Anzati looked for allies.

 

[Nyos Val]

Marrik had been on planet for a while working in the Imports/Exports office. He always had his buds in his ears to keep in touch with the others.

"Operation Cry Havoc is go. Let loose the strills of war."

The call was made, and the Legionnaire would answer. Throwing aside his paperwork, Marrik went to his locker and grabbed his red cloak, energy bow, blaster and vibrosword. He moved to the main work area and drew his bow on the the security officer there.

Sensing an incoming ally, Daemos spoke into his Comlink, <Brother, I aim to move with you against the cannons. Where you land, you will find an ally.> The man said in Mandalorian, then let go of the comlink. With that he leapt high into the air, soaring to the nearby rooftop adjacent to his position. From there it was all about following the ship with mind and body alike.

Ordo watched as the clocked ticked down and reports of the ground units began to file in.

"Ember'buir they have thirty minutes I am making our last offer then we take it by force." He said casually.

Again he was patched through as the f began to advance. This time the entire world qould hear his voice and know that war had come to thier doorstep.

"PEOPLE OF BASTION! This is the Mandalorian Fleet your leaders have 30 minutes to respond to our offer of peaceful resolution before we are forced to use force. You may all be spared urge your leaders or suffer the consequences of their hubris."

Ordo cut the comm feed and turned to smile at the comm officer.

"I heard that on a holovid." He said his face resuming its mask of cold seriousness. "Don't judge me."

 

[Kad Tor]

If Bastion was to be taken by force then beskar'gam had to be ready. Several hours of work had been done helping much of the ground team make sure they were ready for an all out attack if that is what this was leading to. Kad hoped it was. Things had been quiet for in the shop he worked at, and the young goran wanted some excitement. He had heard rumors of a petite, feisty, spitfire mechanic working in the motor pool. The comments made him smile. It seemed Ralize was making a reputation for herself, one that would make him the envy of many verd were he to actually mention they were seeing each other. Had he known what was going down in the motor pool, he would have been running there rather quickly, and tranquilizer dart would have been the least of worries for the attacker. It was a good thing [member="Ralize Darkfeather"] could take care of herself. She was mandokarla after all. Kad had no worries whether she would be okay should things get violent.

"How is the 'gam coming, Tor," a voice boomed from behind him.

It was his latest "customer." Some Mandos were very demanding, but word had been given the operation was a go, so work had to get done.

"All ready, just finished," Kad said as the last pin was put in place. "Next time you get drunk don't let your vods shoot at you okay?"

Seriously some of the verds were not sensible drunks, but who really was? At least most of them were sober, though several were nursing a hangover. There had been a lot of drinking, and a lot of women. Kad stayed away from it all though. His buir had always told him the right woman was worth it. Most of the women running around that offered their goods were not the kind who made the experience seem worth it to Kad. Besides how could he think of other women when Ral was always on his mind.

"Alright I'm out of here, I need to go see someone about a speeder.

 

[Matreya]

Running along the edge of the rooftop, Damien carried his Kusarigama with the chain held midlength so as to let the bearing swung loose beside him at a reasonable length. Soaring high into the air for a second, the Czar Elite landed his jump successfully and moved on. The next building however, held a roof that was smoother from its more metallic composition, thus he slid down the large slant.

When his free fall began, he didnt panic, instead he whipped the bearing up and around an antenna that stood outcropped along the roof. Using the leverage to swing like he was on a rope, Daemos soared until he neared the peak of his arc, after which he flicked his wrist then yanked his arm so as to catch the same position on the chain.

Landing on the next building over once more, the man rolled into a crouch, halting his movement instantly. Casting his eyes skyward he asked over his comlink to the man who would be his ally in the coming mission, "Almost down?"

There was no more laughter from the security force. No, they heard the Mandalorians' messege loud and clear now, but it was too late. Jaden had already taken control of this particular station and the doors were shut, overrides impossible with the amount of skill they had. If they didn't comply soon a Pygmy would no doubt break free of the formation above and move over the city, disrupting their communications and bombarding the city with turbolasers and raining fire from the stream of starfighters housed within. A smirk inched its way across his face as he completed the lockdown from his Chrono. Nifty little things these were...

 

[The Hound]

The Mandalorians truly knew no mercy. He had thought that their new leader would bring peace and calm to the wild beasts of Mandalore...Of course not. As sirens blared and the little authority that was left after the Imperials vanished attempted to evacuate citizens and attempt negotiations with the Mandalorians, Turin stood in the crowds of running people. He was but one man, but if it came to it he would help the people here, after all this was his family's home and he would not see it razed for a third time without a fight.

Shifting his rucksack on his right shoulder, he tapped into the Force, immersing himself in it, attempting to calm the frenzied souls around him. It would only get worse if the people panicked.

 

[Lina Ovmar]

Behind Ordo, Mia chuckled. She was taking a back seat for this operation. It was his and Gilamar's baby. "Judging you." She stated. Closing her eyes she reached out in the force feeling the rising panic on the surface below them. She had little faith in the leaders and their ability to surrender, pride would prevent that. She knew though that the planet would gi e a damn good fight before it gave in.

Thirty minutes wasn't long enough. "Shall I ready the fighters Ord'ika?"

Groundside - Ravelin (Capital City)

"You okay?" Bree asked [member="Kable Detta"], who had been waiting for her outside in their ambulance parked under the overhang of the Emergency Room drop-off area at the Tarkin Memorial Hospital in downtown Ravelin, as the petite medic jumped into the passenger seat of their rig.

The two young Mando'ade had been partnered up and inserted on the ground prior to the planned Dominion of Bastion with the Bastion EMS. Briika Tor was posing as a Paramedic, which was a walk in the park for her, and the dark-haired Detta brother as an EMT, which wasn't so much. While doing their job, they had been scouring the city for intel and making contacts for when the time came to execute their objective: to take down one of the planetary shield generators.

"I really thought you were going to lose your cookies on that last one… Gotta learn to breathe through your mouth and not your nose, cyar'ika," the golden blonde smiled, then teasingly offered her riduur some hot, spicy chips she'd picked up from a vending machine in the waiting room before coming out.

"You're doing great though. I'll make a real medic out of you yet," she winked, then stilled suddenly as their wrist chrono's lit up signaling it was go time.

 

[Kable Detta]

Kable smiled at the blonde beauty as she approached. "I'm good. I just breathed wrong, like you said."
He took one of the chips she offered and popped it into his mouth. He adjusted the jumpsuit he was wearing. It offered little comfort and even less protection.

They had both been inserted on Bastion a couple weeks ago to prepare for the arrival of the fleet. They had been posing as medical technicians, well Kable had been posing, Briika had been actually helping people.

His wrist chrono vibrated, it was the signal, it was time. He looked at his riduur and nodded. He walked over to the side panel of the rescue speeder and opened it. Their armor and weapons were concealed inside. He looked back to Briika "Well dear, as much as I've enjoyed being naked with you, it's time to suit up" [member="Briika Tor"]

 

[Briika Munin]

The thought of actually being skin on skin with [member="Kable Detta"] floated around in her pretty little blonde head for a second.. or two, then Briika snapped out of it. Ever since the two had pledged themselves to one another in a private moment, she had become a bit embolden to think of such things more often than not. The plan was to have a Riduurok Ori'skraan back on Mandalore when they returned from their 'honeymoon mission' with their family and friends.

"Wait! We can't change out of our trauma junkie clothing just yet. I have to signal our contact inside the shield generator plant to make the fake medical emergency call for us first, then we respond with all our gear on the medsled. Once inside, we get to where we need to go, suit up, set the dets, then slip out to watch the fireworks," Bree smiled, then she sent the encrypted text message to the sympathizer that was willing to help them, who was a known diabetic amongst his peers so him being in distress would not be out of the question.

Moments later, tones went off on the rig's comm unit and their ambulance was designated to respond.

"Squad Ten copy," Briika replied to the dispatcher in a professional tone, then the petite medic turned to the well-honed commando and grinned while flipping the lights and siren on.

"Let's roll, cyar'ika, so we can get naked later after we take care of business."

 

[Kable Detta]

Kable quickly started loading their armor, weapons and det charges onto the medical sled, then covered it with a sheet and replaced the sled in the back of the rig. The goal was to respond to the 'medical emergency' and take the sled with them. Then change out and set the charges. Setting charges was his specialty. Briika was a gifted medic and was the one who had been carrying the two during their whole undercover jaunt. But once the armor came on, Kable would be in his element again.

He jumped into the driver's seat and drove off towards the plotted destination. He looked over to Briika and reached over and squeezed her leg affectionately.
