[*]Primary Source:

PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: 40
  • Force Sensitivity: Master
  • Species: Devaronian
  • Appearance: A positively massive example of a Devaronian suffering from gigantism, this impressive creature of massive musculature is dwarfed only by the incredulously fatty girth of his master, Darth Voracitos. With pallid skin and over-sized adrenal glands, Crult Momniw is a being of muscle and chronic rage, made evidently clear by the various scars strewn about his bare chest.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Crult Momniw, the Savant Wrath
  • Loyalties: The Sith Empire, The Coven of Gluttony, Darth Voracitos
  • Wealth: His wealth is the wealth of the Coven, at the discretion of his Lord of Gluttony
  • Notable Possessions:
Dual-Phase Lightsaber/Lightclub - Not one to settle for a typical lightsaber, the Savant Wrath has (after careful instruction) created a lightsaber fit for his size and mannerisms, a true symbol of his role in the Coven. With a normal activation the blade assumes a length fitted for his larger stature (at 2.5 meters), at around 120 cms, and an average width. However, the lightsaber is dual-phased, and upon activation it doubles its length (240 cms) and widens out to become a terrifying lightclub. As a result of his use of a "Greatsaber", the hilt has been additionally lengthened for a wide two-handed to grip, to the point where it may also be technically classified as a lightsaber-pike in normal activation by a user of ordinary height. In the hands of a less-skilled, smaller stature user, it is an unwieldy weapon to be sure.
  • Alchemical Armor - Typically the Savant Wrath can be seen wearing alchemically plated gauntlets, belt, and trousers. These plates are known to deflect lightsabers, resist blasters, and absorb most of sith lightning, while being denser and heavier as a result of the alchemical treatment. This provides a variety of strengths an weaknesses to play that the Savant Wrath is aware of, and works with.
  • Copious amounts of Sulfur Inhalants - When the Savant Wrath actually faces something resembling a challenge, he has something of an unusual backup: sulfur. A stimulant his species often used to boost ones strength and speed, though with the drawback it was one of the few things his species liver couldn't easily eliminate, thus over-utilization would have long term health consequences.

[*]Skills:
  • Lightsaber Combat, Skill (Master)- At least versed in the six of the seven lightsaber forms, the Savant Wrath was known to specialize in the Djem So variant of Form V to Mastery, but held considerable skill in Shii-Cho as well due to its similarity to ordinary bladed combat (which he used for much of his life before his induction into lightsaber training). Despite this specialization, it was common for the Savant Wrath to open up a fight with the use of Makashi against another opponent and then switch to Djem So power strikes upon activation of his lightsabers second phase (lightclub). When facing blaster wielding opponents, he favored alternating to the Shien variant of Form V, rather than to switch to Soreso, though he was capable of utilizing the form adequately enough. The only form that he did not utilize in the traditional sense like his master, was Ataru, which was incredibly agile through the use of the force, and while he does use the force to increase his maneuverability in the other lightsaber forms, he rarely utilizes the maneuvers seen in this form as a result of his enormous size. Niman is another form the Savant Wrath can utilize, but given his specialization it is an unattractive option to him and sees less use than Form V, II, or even III, but used more often than the traditional use of Ataru. The Savant Wrath has no training whatsoever in the use of Juyo, despite the fact such a form would see good use in his hands. Unfortunately, his lightsaber trainer (Darth Voracitos), is so sub-par in lightsaber training as to become easily surpassed in terms of mastery, and could only offer introductory lessons and vehicles of study for the enforcer of his Coven, both of which the Savant Wrath took strictly to heart until he easily outclassed the entire Coven, and to be able to come to terms with other users of the lightsaber. The Savant Wrath also typically employs the use of Dun Möch, a staple of Sith training. Additionally, through the use of Nethermancy, the Savant Wrath has gleaned considerable knowledge from the souls infesting his own about the use of lightsaber combat despite the lack of proficiency his master possessed in teaching it.
    Form I (Shii-Cho): | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Master
  • Form II (Makashi): | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Expert
  • Form III (Soreso): | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Advanced
  • Form IV (Ataru): | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Proficient
  • Form V (Shien/Djem So): | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Master
  • Form VI (Niman): | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Advanced
  • Form VII (Juyo): | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Untrained

[*]Force Drain, Skill (Expert) - A side effect of his attachment to the Coven of Gluttony, Crult Momniw's force energy has been fed upon by his master, Lord Voracitos, thus the Savant Wrath possesses a void in his soul that allows him to feed upon the force energy of others. His use of the power is an active one he must choose to use however, unlike the presence of Darth Voracitos, who's mere proximity often makes others lightheaded from its effects.
[*]"Nethermancy", Skill (Advanced) - A type of Sith Magic developed by Darth Voracitos after his expedition into the Netherworld, where along his journey he bound innumerable tormented souls to his will, likely through a form of Force Walk. To create his Coven, he offered his Vassals a portion of the power he had consumed in the Netherworld, and thus utilized a technique similar to Invoke Spirits, to give his Vassals command over a few of the spirits he had collected, amplifying their strengths by virtue of ancient dead dark siders formerly trapped in the Netherworld. Thus, Nethermancy comes with the flexibility of making the practitioner stronger with a variety of skills inherent to the bound spirits they are borrowing. Though with no physical remains to amplify their power, and their power being diluted by virtue of the souls being borrowed by their master who they are bound to, a greater volume of souls are required to have any meaningful impact on one's mastery and command of the force. Additionally, it means these strengths are inherently tied to the will of Darth Voracitos, who can relinquish their souls on command, or immediately re-assume control of them in a variety of horrifying manners. One should beware the tempting power of Nethermancy however, as without the cure to the madness inherent in being host to multiple spirits (even if borrowed from their Master, Voracitos), the users of Nethermancy will find that their natural connection to the force shall decay as they become reliant on their power, while their bodies will decay the longer they do not use its power. This creates a powerful addiction, that will eventually strip away their ability to control their violent urges, or destroy them by shunning it.

[*]Personality: There is only one life for Crult Momniw, and that life is tied to combat, and leashed to the power of Darth Voracitos. With absolute and total loyalty to his dark master, the Lord of Gluttony found it prudent it infuse the Savant Wrath with additional souls than was typical for a Hungered Vassal, as a reward for his devotion and dedication to the dark master. Additionally, he permitted the force sensitive to utilize a lightsaber, and became something of an apprentice to Voracitos', though such a place was reserved for another, thus the training was largely informal and left to the Vassal's own devices. The reason for this devotion however, was simple: a sufferer of gigantism, the life expectancy of the ailed Devaronian was quickly approaching the end of his life, and would have ended soon if not by the promise of the dark side inherent in meeting Lord Voracitos, who offered him the power to prolong his life by sheer will and unimaginable power. Owing his life to the Dark Lord and reliant on his power, he essentially traded away his soul and expertise in combat, in exchange for a longer life, and one of comfort aboard the Den of Decadence whenever he was not engaged in combat. His status as an original Hungered Vassal before they were known as such, has put him into a position of supreme power in the Coven, and with more Starved Subjects than any other Vassal by virtue of his longer time spent in the organization, it all feeds greatly into his ego.
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Weapon of Choice: Lightsaber
  • Combat Function: The combat function of the Savant Wrath is primarily one that serves as Darth Voracitos' personal Enforcer within the Coven of Gluttony. Highly combat orientated, the Savant Wrath will be sent into the heat of battles the Coven is unlikely equipped to face or Voracitos' himself considers unworthy of his personal intervention. The Savant serves as a warrior emissary to the Coven of Gluttony itself, and is known to created Starved Subjects by subjecting them to force drain and "marking" them through the use of Nethermancy once they have been adequately defeated to a point of compliance. The Savant Wrath is a difficult opponent to face to be sure, but some weaknesses may be utilized against him:
Alchemical Armor - A gift from the Master of Gluttony, the alchemical armor serves as protection from a variety of dangers the Savant Wrath is expected to face, such as lightsaber blows, blaster shots, and the occasional use of Sith lightning, at least along his gauntlets, belt, and trousers.
  • Lightsaber Duelist - A Master of the blade, coupled with a surprisingly deadly lightsaber makes for an impressive duelist few will find easy to best.
  • Surprising Strength - While his strength is of little question from his size and musculature, just how strong is one that comes as unexpected. With a higher body density, the true musculature of the Devorian giant is of impressive weight, and one that will catch even the mightiest of wookiees off-guard; this is particularly true if he indulges himself by inhaling sulfur, boosting his natural strength to unprecedented heights, and made even more impressive if the use of the force is involved.
  • Surprising Speed - What is more unexpected, is his surprising speed when not using his heavy alchemical armor, as training with it has only extended the power of his muscles further whenever the unnaturally heavy plates are removed. This speed, again as with his strength, is made only more impressive after inhaling sulfur, and/or through the use of the force, making him deadly quick for any enemy to face against, with and especially without his heavy armor plates.
  • Sub-par Devaronian Immune System - While being Devaronian gives the Savant Wrath considerable resistance to poison and carcinogens, unfortunately due to the genetic mutation that caused the tumor growth in his pituitary gland, he is more susceptible to cancer and toxins than the average member of his kind. As such most poisons his species would be expected to shrug off, he is instead slowed down by, but is not as lethally effected as other members of less immunity efficient species.
  • Exposed Face and Torso - Despite being armored along his gauntlets, belt, and trousers, the Savant Wrath has an enormous opening across his torso and head that is totally exposed to injury and the elements. While this was a deliberate choice by the giant to direct his enemies attacks into predictable patterns aimed for his only undefended portions of his body, it still presents a major weakness to any who are skilled enough to exploit it, and can surpasses his arrogant defenses.
  • Weighted Down - While his alchemical armor serves to make him stronger and faster when unarmored, while he is armored, the heavy plates naturally slow him down into an almost lumbering target when coupled with his already impressive weight. Though the use of sulfur inhalants and the force tends to mitigate this weakness enough for the giant's purposes, the weakness is noticeable and exploitable given the enemy is skilled enough.
  • Lightsaber Focus - Despite being a worthy lightsaber duelist, this specialization means the Savant Wrath is tragically stalled in his understanding and control of the force. While he can use it to augment his strength and speed in times of need, he has little command over it beyond this, compounded by the fact that without the use of his master's Nethermancy, his control of the force wouldn't extend beyond an apprentice level. This means that without a lightsaber in the case that he is disarmed, he has little to fall back upon in times of crisis.
  • Health Conditions - Due to the nature of his disease, and his use of sulfur inhalants as a stimulant has sever consequences to his health. The Savant Wrath is always at risk of cardiovascular failure (much like his master), and depends largely on the force to keep this at bay. While he won't immediately die (as would be and has been the case for Voracitos), if severed from the force, he could come under extreme pain as he feels the fatigue of his tiny heart attempting to support a high-intensity combat-involved body, and would be forced to retreat to recover (if possible).
  • Sulfur Overdose - As with any drug that effects the body, too much can kill even the hardiest of livers, causing mass organ failure in a cataclysmic reaction to sulfur poisoning, and given the reward system of the brain whenever a "hit" increases the users abilities, it creates a feedback loop that encourages further consumption even after the body has hit its limit. The addictive substance is prone to killing its users who give in to their desires, which is often a core tenant of teaching for a member of the Coven of Gluttony. This makes the substance a last resort for the behemoth, as once he starts, he doesn't know if he'll be able to stop himself before he poisons himself.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Crult Momniw was a Devaronian of little consequence to the larger galaxy for the first several decades of his life, though he was always recognized by his unusual size for his species. To combat the possibility of severe and morbid obesity bringing him an even earlier death than his condition would ordinarily demand, the alien put himself through a tough and difficult physical regimen to keep himself healthy and in shape. This musculature, the reputation of his size, and his favorable for blade combat made him an ideal pit fighter, becoming champion of various small-time tournaments, a lucrative career Crult seemed to relish in. Then one day, the Sith Lord known as Darth Voracitos visited yet another one of his championship tournaments, who became impressed by his combat prowess alongside his reputable and intimidating size, along with his usable potential in the force.

With this in mind, and his apprentice foraging in the Netherworld seeking what his Master sought, Voracitos began to plot of creating an organization that could assist in mitigating the slight madness the plagued the Dark Lord after binding so many spirits to his soul, and to expand his network of servants across the Sith Empire, and the Galaxy. As such, Crult Momniw was approached by the Dark Lord, an was given an offer to help the alien be saved from his impending mortality as well as power, in exchange for his services and loyalty. Thus Crult Momniw became one of the first Hungered Vassals of the Lord of Gluttony, and from there onward his legend as the enforcer of the Dark Lord's will in the Coven of Gluttony grew proportional to his reputation as a powerful force to be reckoned with.

Apologies for how long it took to get to this. Currently on a school trip to Virginia. Anywho, a few things that need addressed:
  • Does this unique lightsaber have any submission for reference?

  • Darth Voracitos said:
A stimulant his species often used to boost ones strength and speed
How much of a boost are we talking here?

  • Darth Voracitos said:
    Surprising Speed and Strength
These are separate strengths, please split them.

  • Darth Voracitos said:
created Starved Subjects by subjecting them to force drain and "marking" them through the use of Nethermancy once they have been adequately defeated to a point of compliance.
Explain this more, or if they have their own submission, link them please.
  • I am confused, you mention in lightsaber combat he is able to utilize six of the seven forms, but you mention he never uses Juyo or Ataru. I also want a limit or weakness included on how much knowledge he was able to pull from the spirits connected to him

  • Negative, no submission. Though if one needs to be made it is not a problem, it is only utilizing a dual-phase to lengthen and widen the blade as described on the wookiepedia page.
  • I dunno, in the wookiepedia page all it says is that sulfur is used as a stimulant by his species to increase speed and strength. But given he is already a hulking figure of overgrown muscle, ingesting it would likely make a wookie's strength pale in comparison.
  • Done!
  • Starved Subjects are the lowest rung for the Coven of Gluttony, the initiates if you will. They are fed upon, and given only the smallest amount of souls to keep track of them, but not to give them any substantial power like the Hungered Vassals.
  • He is versed in six of the seven lightsaber forms, the seventh being Juyo, which he does not know. Simply because he doesn't typically use Ataru, does not mean he isn't trained in the use of Ataru. He knows of it and has trained in it, but finds it impractical to use due to his size and the amount of energy required to expend to use it.

Alright, the lightsaber strength language is a bit confusing and vague in places, hence my confusions. I am uncomfortable with the sulfur boost without some sort of quantitative limit on the boost, and I am not exactly seeing a downside that might occur in an actual PvP RP situation to this use of sulfur. I would like to see both added in before I stamp this as pending.

Upon further reflection, I'm not going to require a factory submission for the lightsaber be subbed.

[member="Taeli Raaf"] I can add a list of lightsaber forms with relative strength bars if that would be visually more clarifying?

As for the Sulfur stimulant, I don't know how much more quantitative I can get other than "stronger than a wookiee" for this individual, and there is no described short term side effects of using it, only long term health complications. I don't think it's exactly in my authority to invent material described in wookieepedia, it's just a racial thing for Devaronians, and there is nothing that implies there is any short term side effect other than strength and speed. This is what I read on the Devaronian page:

"Because their bodies were constantly cleansed of toxins and carcinogens, the species was highly resistant to poison. To this end, sulfur was used as a stimulant on Devaron to enhance speed and strength, because inhaling it caused the substance to enter the bloodstream rapidly. Their livers struggled to eliminate sulfur from their system, meaning that long-term use could be dangerous."

I think that implies that over utilization would have similar effects to chronic alcoholism, substituting its cognitive effects (blurry vision, impaired judgement, etc.) for one's relating to speed and strength. So, like any drug, relying too much on sulfur could be lethal in an overdose situation, or decay the body's regular functions over years of continued use.

So, to that end, what do you need me to do or explain in relation to this?

[member="Darth Voracitos"]

The lightsaber solution is completely fine yes.

And I am not asking for a weakness that is tied into the species' natural abilities. Gene mutations, delayed allergies, and so on could cause a more immediate effect from the use of sulfur that could appear in a PvP scenario. Right now, I'm seeing no immediate drawbacks to these inhalants as the current weakness tied to them is fluff so I would like to see one. It could even be something that after he uses them for fifteen minutes, extreme fatigue sets in or something like that. Without such a weakness, I'm not going to be able to accept it.

[member="Taeli Raaf"] though I feel that it is redundant considering Health Conditions covered the consequences of use, which can easily be played upon in a combat scenario, I have added Sulfur Overdose to elaborate on this condition, as per your requirement, despite my desire to argue against it I don't wish to delay this any longer than it already has.

Thank you for you time, is there anything else to be addressed?
