Crimson Command

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Army Name: Crimson Command
  • Classification: Moff's Own [Legion]
  • Affiliation:
  • Army Symbol: Imperial Cog
  • Description: The Crimson Command was a joint task force dedicated to defending Moff Melvain Braxis's holdings and physical wellbeing. Claimed as part of his right as a Moff, the Legion represented the best his sector had to offer. Many commanders were handpicked by Moff Braxis for their loyalty to him. The men and women of Crimson Command were veterans of several wars with experience as recent as the Imperial reclamation of the Western Frontier and as harsh as the Battle of Dantooine. Because of New Junction's climate, many stormtroopers within Crimson Command were trained for both urban and tropical jungle warfare and were equipped as Shoretroopers.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Headquarters: New Junction
  • Goals: To defend Moff Braxis, the Empire, and execute the will of the Emperor as dictated by their Moff.
  • Reputation: Veterans of minor renown, the officer core of the Crimson Command was known to be pragmatic and fair. However, as a mainly defensive unit, they missed much of the conflict surrounding the Second Great Hyperspace War and as Moff Braxis' legion have done little to prove themselves in battle. However, their honor and loyalty to the ideals of Emperor Tavlar's Empire and the dream shared by their Moff of peace and order have given them a positive reputation in the Thesme sector.

COMPOSITION INFORMATION
  • Army Size: Large
  • Composition: Crimson Command made heavy use of standard Imperial Stormtroopers. However, Shoretroopers made up an unusually large portion of the legion due to New Junction's tropical climate. There were also at least two heavy walker units along with accompanying light armor support such as speeders, light walkers, and various repulsorlift transports and armor.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The origins of Crimson Command would be in the fires of the Sith-Imperial Civil War. Kidnapped and held as collateral by the Sith and used as a tool against his Imperial sympathizing father, once listed MIA, his father would rebel against the Sith. The rebellion was short-lived and ended with Braxis Sr.'s execution. Upon Melvain's return alongside the Empire, he rallied supporters from the local Mandalorian population and those generals who still remembered the honor of being a part of the Red Legion. With their help and a force of Imperial stormtroopers and a small handful of Imperial Knights, of which Melvain was now a part of, they freed New Junction from Sith control, giving them a much-needed stronghold in their campaigns in the region. After freeing his people, Melvain was given the title of Warlord and promoted to Knight and where he went, the men and women who helped him fight his personal war followed. These officers and infantrymen would become the base for the future Moff's personal legion, following him deep into the Unknown Regions in later years in the fight against the Brotherhood of the Maw.

After turning from his duties as a Knight and taking up the title of Moff full-time, he returned to the Thesme sector and finally penned the official documents cementing his loyal fighting force into the annals of the Imperial Military Record. Dubbed Crimson Command the unit would boast a robust amphibious assault unit, raider units, and a core fleet of several star destroyers. After the seeming disappearance of his staunch ally and true heir to the Empire, Lucien Dooku, many of his enemies within the Moff Council saw this as a bid to consolidate a powerbase in the region with its fantastic trade and access to several hyperlanes. It was, and was only the first of many such actions as Moffs and would-be Warlords began to shore up their holdings for the storm approaching the Empire.

Solid submission that you have here, although there are a few issues that I need to see addressed before I can approve this for you.

First of all the "Inside the Empire" link in Image Credit appears to be broken and will need to be fixed, in Affiliation a link to both the Empire faction page and your character's bio is required for ease of access, and lastly in the Members section your character should be mentioned as the leader of this army.

Pretty quick and easy fixes so I hope to hear from you soon and approve this afterwards!
