Creation of Protection

This was instillation 5-2 or better know to Conglomerate Emplyess as the forgotten stations. A little time before the Netherworld Crisis, this was a cloning station and training grounds for a company that failed after the fall. Now, it just sat here for a couple months before the Conglomerate got it back up and running. The United Trading Conglomerate now had new plans for the station on Conglomerate Prime. This would be the creation of the Conglomerates new Army to protect itself from the One Sith.

In an office overlooking the cloning facility stood a man in armor. This was Viceroy Jaster Awaud, leader of the UTC and the planet Conglomerate Prime. This was before Jasters fatal infection of a mysterious virus that ate as his skin. Thus he didn't wear his monsterous armor but in a normal suit and a sash from his left shoulder to his right waist. This was the sign of the Viceroy of the UTC, and as leader he handpicked two individuals who meet the requirements to be Clones.

They sat in chairs behind Jaster, he turned over to face them and looked them in the face. "Hello, thank you for meeting with me today, I wish to congratulate you on passing the selection process, we will now talk about compensation and benefits, is that alright for you guys?"

Sergeant Valkren Calderon sat rather relaxed in the chair directly behind Jaster, surprisingly relaxed for what the two were there for. In all reality, he shouldn't have been there at all. Being a Republic special forces operator, or a Republic commando, for short, he should had been somewhere else with his team instead of dealing with personal business. Yet, this was important. For once, personal business came in priority over the Republic's operations.

In all truth, he needed credits and the resources that could have been offered for this deal for his family and his men. After the disappearance of his father and older brother, the income to the family farmstead back on Alderaan had been cut short, very short. So short he was willing to drop off the Republic's grid for an extended period of leave to take the offer of Jaster. There was no way the young soldier could turn down any of that. Plus, the Governor seemed to be quite the asset, even if they'd have to keep it rather secretive.

The commando shifted his position in his chair to remain comfortable, which was fairly easy considering he was in civilian clothes(A jacket and a set of 'shooting' pants with some black combat boots. His duffle bag was somewhere else with some of the Governor's staff.

"Ready whenever you are."

Kass was sat behind jaster a human male wearing a suit currently not threat. thinking back on how he got here he needed money plain and simple. the lab had never taught him anything about life outside from it leaving him lacking for ways to make money. how the governor knew about him was unknown. he'd just been set free when he was contacted by a man likely an employee of jaster. he told him that there was a paying job little to no effort needed. strange but it did't matter money was promised thats all he needed to know.

coming back to the present he heard jaster speak "Hello, thank you for meeting with me today, I wish to congratulate you on passing the selection process, we will now talk about compensation and benefits, is that alright for you guys?" kass responded in a silent voice "i was promised pay i heard nothing about benefits". what else could that offer him other then money he needed someplace to stay the streets were getting harsher since he killed some gangster. he sat back a bit more waiting for a response.

Jaster was currently the Viceroy of the planet they were on, as such he had access to every facility available there. He would need these men to stay near by in case the there was a malfunction with the clones. It usually never happened, but Jaster wanted to always be ready for the inevitable. The Trade Conglomerate were a very large and influential combination of companies at the time, so finding people was no real big problem. Testing all their blood and getting their hands on very secretive files, now those were difficult, but not out of reach.

Jaster let out a small chuckle as the two men were slightly awed by the size and comfortably offered to them. They were to be the templates for the army that would protect the planet in their deepest time of fear. He finished his laugh and began to speak, "Yes, yes, the UTC wishes to speak with you about donating a skin sample as well as blood samples for our doctors, this will need to be confidential so both of you will have to sign 'Confidentiality Agreement', in return the government of Conglomerate Prime will offer both of you a One Million Signing bonus as well as live in quarters inside this facility with round the clock protection and catering to any of your needs, this will also include a two point seven million full coverage health insurance plan, and a ten million life insurance plan made out to your next of kin, this of course doesn't include your payment which can be negotiated after signing the Agreement."

Jaster and the Conglomerate Board Member were in desperate need for these soldiers, Cloning would need to start immediate if they were to stop any invasion of the planet by any foreign nation.

If money was an issue before it would be now thought. whatever trouble this company had kass didn't care. but something in the man said got him to think he didn't know how to read this would't be a problem most of the time. but this time he had to sign something important possible life changing he spoke up "i can't read is there someway a droid could read the contract for me out loud" his cheeks flushed red a bit it was embarrassing to not be able to read he spent most of his time cracking in heads and the scientist did both teaching him . "if that need is met ill sign the contract with a request of a wide open room for physical training and a few droids".

kass stared at the other man interested in his response to the offer.

Valkren's heart pounded with the impending offer on the table that the Governor had thrown forward. That amount of income would be double what the Calderon's needed back at home, it wouldn't just help them survive..It'd help them expand. The farm could actually turn into a legitimate business and not just something to keep in the family. With abit of research, Valkren could return to Alderaan and hire labor and get the farm up and running again.

Plus, the extra income could possible help with the operations that Valkren took part of aside from the Republic. It didn't seem like enough though, for what they were doing. He pushed himself out of his resting position, leaning forward and looking over Jaster for a moment, then going to his comrade beside him, then back to the Governor. "The income sounds great, but I think you know I need more, Sir."

His eyes showed a fire that had almost died out when the Republic went shaky, yet the young sergeant chose to keep that fire burning inside of him for the Republic and it's people. So he needed something else.

"I know you have ships at your disposal, too many for your own good. You know I could use one of them plus some weaponry."

He returned back to his resting position, placing his arm back over the back of the chair. "All I'll need is a shooting range, a killhouse, and a simulation area for long-term operation training. You're boys will be the best pipehitters out there, with commando blood in them atleast."

Jaster looked at both, [member="Kass Vale"] and [member="Valkren Calderon"], these men were the peak of human capability. With only a few modifications to their genes during the cloning process and these soldiers could be the best in the galactic area. The need for these two men would be a huge win for the UTC. What they were asking for were within reason, and he could defiantly accommodate to them. He waved the door open and a droid entered, he had read Kass' file, his inability to read was known to the man and as such Jaster had a droid waiting outside for just the occasion.

The droid read the listing of the terms of the contract, and ultimatum stated that no one may know there whereabouts at all, not even family. If there is a breach in contract they will be placed in prison and legal action will be perused after their families. Just a normal confidential agreement.

Jaster sat as soon as the droid finished explaining, "Agree to these terms and your request will be confirmed and then we can begin with examinations and then extraction, Valkren, you can use the training room the clones will be using in the future, there will be rooms made to both of your liking and then we can proceed."

He looked down to his own holo-pad, along with listening to the droid read off everything to the man that sat beside him. What harm can come against this? It was for the defense of his planet against the Sith, after all. The same evil the Republic had been fighting for so long. What harm could really come to this plan?

That was a stupid question, Valkren knew the risks. All of those risks were off the charts considering the dangerous nature of the process and the secretive alliance between these three. He didn't know if the man beside him held any allegiances to any factions, but he seemed to be an assassin. A 'gun for hire,' at the least. Yet, the Sergeant was a rather underground symbol in the Republic special forces, Saber team spearheading the entire operation. If any Republic officials that weren't on Valkren's side caught wind of this plot, his reputation could go down the drain. He could be exiled.

Yet again..There's the pay, and the ship..It was for the better of the Republic, right?

"I'm in." The young commando grunted as he signed across the holopad.

[member="Valkren Calderon"][member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"]"I agree" just saying yes was simple what happened after was up to this company. money, housing, and a starting to a new life. Lets just hope this all worked out if he didn't well lets just say it wouldn't be a good ending for anyone.

[member="Kass Vale"] [member="Valkren Calderon"]

Jaster sat there as the men read the agreement and pressed their fingers against he bottom of the pad. This was equivalent to a signature and would now be under law to never disclose this info to anyone at any time. This was good, they could move on and get the information over with.

Jaster stood and let the droid leave with the two pads. As the droid left, a large Transdoshan named [member="Causstik Rahn"] walked in, "Thank you for being patient with me, what we do here isn't exactly something I wish to broadcast, this is a bounty hunter named Causstik Rahn he will be training the Clones in multi-environmental simulations that will test them in both space and ground combat, he is here right now to introduce himself as he will be working very closely with you both."

[member="Kass Vale"] [member="Valkren Calderon"][member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"]
The large lizard entered the building and gave the men a curt bow. Respectful, but not very low. This was at a time before the Sith experimentation on Causstik and so he didn't have the madness in his mind. He wasn't Schizophrenic, but he also wasn't as strong as he would be. Though being a Trandoshan meant he was still pretty big.

"Greeting gentlbeings," He took a second to survey the two.

"My people are renowned hunters and I am the besst. As a resssult I have hunted and learned to survive on a multitude of landsscapesss. I have led many Clans into war and we have never failed to take many sslavesss," Causstik means no offense. Slavery is merely a Trandoshan way of life. "I in more recent years have been working with the Republic; as a privateer, to restrict the trade routes of the One Sith. As a result I am well versed in ship to ship combat. My people and I have taken over a dozen merchant vessels and their battleship escorts. I look forward to training with the likess of you. We all just might learn something,"

Valkren nodded in agreement with Jaster, his reputation was surely on the line. He'd love to keep this as confidential as it could remain. Yet, introducing a bounty hunter to the mix? It was risky enough for the Governor to bring in two men for the cloning process and entrusting them with almost every detail they were to know about these soldiers, but a mercenary seemed like a big risk to the sergeant.

Although his opinion of the Transdoshan was altered slightly when the soldier of fortune spoke of the Republic hiring him several times before. It wasn't uncommon, the Galactic Republic hiring bounty hunters for security purposes and for off-the-record jobs, but he hadn't met many who weren't already in a body bag. Most of those 'off-the-record' jobs were full of missions and operations that were uncomplete-able to the standard Republic, and were those they didn't want to risk their special forces being caught on. So at the least, he was impressed at the Lizard's presence.

"Pleasure to meet ya', Mister Rahn."

What is that thing, was one of kass's first thoughts."Hello i look forward to working with you". It was all kass could really say he had no part in the decision making of the company. Whatever causstik was he seemed friendly and it eased kass and the thought of trained with him also seemed intriguing. kass looked over at jaster "i would like to see where i would be staying" a slight smile appearing on his lips he had a place to stay now.

Jaster looked at the two men before him, their request currently would fall on deaf ears. This was now work over comfort, and Jaster was spending a great deal of money on this little Prodject. A second could cost Jaster thousands. This Prodject would need to move on now more then ever.

He shook his head, "Unfortunately that will not be done, we need to head to the Medical Facility to get the base line Template, after that you may relax," Jaster stood and walked over to the door where the two would follow him. "If you could follow me please."

The young commando simply nodded with Jaster's command. He was accustomed to these medical checkups, having them before and after each and every mission him and his team were sent on. It was almost habit by now to head right to the medical bay before de-briefing, even when none of his team members were injured. The constant poking and prodding from a multitude of medical personal had become a common event for most Soldiers now a day. With the Galactic Republic's military on the decline, medical usually did their very best to keep the small amount of shooters they had in peak medical condition.

"Let's get to it then, Sir." The contract was signed and everything was in place. It was now up to Jaster to show them their next moves.
