Crashed Witch

Azure stared down at the console of the ship, panic slowly slipping away as she took deep breaths. After the first few minutes of pressing absolutely every button she could see after entering hyperspace, the witch accepted her fate. She sat down in the chair, and took a few deep breaths to calm down. Cuddle's distressed cries were carried up through the cockpit, and Azure tried to calm her mount down through their bond. When that failed, the witch carefully went down through the ship and approached her mount. "Shh, shh, it's all right, Cuddles, it's all right." Cuddles let out a small whine as she leaned her head into Azure's hands. "I know, Cuddles, I know. I'm worried too. We'll be fine though, I'm sure of it!"

Azure smiled at her Rancor, before feeling the ship rumble. She gave Cuddles' cheek one last pat before running back up to the cockpit, to see the rapidly approaching planet. "Oh no." Azure looked around the cockpit, and eyed the pilot joysticks, getting into the seat. She tested the directional control, and figured pulling up would help her and Cuddles survive the landing. After locking the joysticks into position with a spare weapon from, what she assumed, the now dead crew of the ship, Azure ran back down to Cuddles. "Okay, Cuddles, we're falling, so I need you to protect me in the fall, okay?" Cuddles nodded and wrapped Azure in her arms, and they both braced for impact.

After crashing, Cuddles checked to make sure Azure was still all right in her arms, the Rancor looked around the cargo bay, and saw an opening in the bay doors. Standing up, she walked (stomped) over and ripped open the broken doors, revealing the jungle planet outside. Azure walked up beside Cuddles, and looked out. "Cuddles, I've a feeling we're not on Dathomir anymore."

It was quite a strange crossroads of fate, that even as [member="Azure Djitred"] made landfall, Sterling's first steps onto the planet's surface took place. Curious indeed, were he to actually learn of this some day, but as far as the man was concerned in the moment it was both unknown, and unimportant. What was more important was the sudden cold of the temperate world, he hated it. It was tolerable, as his warm clothes preserved plenty of heat from having sat next to heating vents the entire journey this far, which was a godsend with the rush of cool air buffeting his face. Out onto the ground, and with a casual glance around to determine his path forward. Where would one go to find the leader of this tribe of Godslayers...

He wandered calmly, making quite a small scene no matter where he walked. He towered over, essentially everyone, and not only looked out of place but quite likely like nothing they'd seen before. His kind weren't star travelers after all. Usually they were more, local phenomenon a most, which made them as ignorant of him as he was of them. Eventually he managed to pick up something from the folks speaking in basic, besides their astonishment at seeing such an odd sight walking among them. Seems there was an area people couldn't get through... good a place as any.

The giant of a man made his way there, until a guard stopped him. He understood what he was saying, of course, about no entry. So he stood upright, his full height, towering above the man. To his credit, the guard didn't waver, and continued to stand firm. "Godslayer, find chieftain. Speak now with them." With any luck this would be over quickly, though someone was eyeing his tail, and if things took too long he may just, accidentally touch it. That, would end very, very poorly indeed.

Cynthia saw the red hot burn of a ship bearing down towards the world. The dark hues of blue from a sun just set made made it stand out all the more. "Star i'm heading out. should't be to long I think." Cynthia said to her soon to be wife, there was a hint of uncertainty that was a true statement. Yet someone had to investigate. The woman left the temporary accommodations while her house was still being built, the current place was the halls of alor's, It is meant to be used as accommodations for other alors from other clans when visiting, yet she was happy everyone else had their homes before her own regardless. "Gate watch this is Solus Alor, prepare me a mount. I'm on my way to go and investigate the ship that has crashed." She said contacting those on the gate. "Do you need us to get in touch with a field team?" Kad said.

"No need Kad, I got this. I don't expect much survived."
"Okay then, we have a Gapillian on hand."
"That'll do."

Once Cynthia reached the gate pens the beast was already prepared with a saddle and equipment for long ventures. Like camping equipment and a bedroll. It was standard for venturing out. She passed through the gate, and so she was off heading directly to the location. It was not much longer before darkness set entirely. The canopy above was not thick as most of the trees was thicker with foliage at its base. Stars could be seen as far as the eye could see and even different shades that painted space could be seen. Something Cynthia was fond of on worlds like this.

She was close to the site now but eyes grew weary from travel. The Gapillian would eat on the foliage around as Cynthia set up camp for the night. A fire was the first thing she had set up to provide natural light and then she pitched up the tent. Temperatures dropped out low out here at night. Not unlike the day time where it was warm. She sat outside by the fire as it crackled.

Azure surveyed the inside of the ship, looking for anything she might find useful. She gathered together some leftover rations, stuffed them in her bag, and walked back to the entrance of the ship where Cuddles awaited. "All right, let's see if there's any people nearby. Hopefully they're friendly... If not, Lemja taught me well." Cuddles let out a huff as Azure mounted her, and they entered the jungle before them.

As they walked, Azure watched the skies. She could recognize a few constellations, so they weren't too far from home, but they were in all the wrong places. "Looks like didn't crash too far from home. But where did we land? Oh, Cuddles, look!" Azure pointed up at a steadily climbing pillar of smoke in the sky, and Cuddles let out as close to a grumble as a Rancor could make, before heading in the direction of the smoke. Before long, the two could see the glow of a fire. As they got closer, Azure hopped down from Cuddles, and walked into the area. "Hello, excuse me, my name is Azure Djitred, of the Bright Sun clan. Could you tell me where I am?" Meanwhile, Cuddles stood back a bit in the shadows, as neither of the two were sure how well a stranger would react to her.

just holler if you need me cynthia dear, you know it won't take me long by spider bike to get to ya

Stardust said and looked to the sky seeing the ship fall, yeah not many could survive a fall from that high then again stardust did but that left some nasty wounds. Moving back into the temporary house stardust decided be good to go out to the town she hadnt explored much at all

So after getting dressed to go out she started forward down the path loving the fact that nature was all around her the force radiated out and through he remaking her feel rather relaxed more then anything. Coming down to the end stardust spotted a...giant of a man looked a bit different from a human however noting that tail on him. Approaching she offered a friendly smile

hello, is there a issue going on here friend?

A smaller individual, green skinned. Twi... Lek. Twilek? Sterling turned to face her, nearly knocking over the guard still trying to convince him he couldn't go on ahead. "Come to find tribe. Godslayer tribe. Must talk with chieftain. Young one knows not what to do." The guard sighed and stepped back, waving his hand away, as if to try and get out of the situation. Stardust could handle it for him, he couldn't get what the lizard was saying anyways. Sterling for one was well and glad the young one was speaking no more, the insolence in not knowing how to treat a proper slayer was irritating him to no end, and much longer and he would have smacked some sense into him. "You know, yes?"

She nodded her head and listened rubbing him chin, God slayer...God slayer...did he mean her God killers by chance? His basic did not seem to be the best and he might be confusing the two words up. Either way she spoke

if you looking for the God killers leader, then you've come to the right place and I am the leader of the God killers

She said and straighten up standing at only six and a half feet tall a little bit smaller compared to him

what business do you have with the God killers

The fire crackled and burnt brightly, It was also warm. Although in the distance she could hear the braking of branches. It's why she kept her sniper close and even her shot gun. Cynthia sighed looking into the fire. "I wish we had set up transceivers out here. Damn tree's stopping me from talking to my riduur." She said to herself not even quietly. "Hello, excuse me, my name is Azure Djitred, of the Bright Sun clan. Could you tell me where I am?" A voice spoke out. Cynthia's rolled as a hand reached for her shotgun being the closest to her and looked over to where the voice had came. "Step in the light and show yourself." Cynthia commanded. One could possibly tell the woman was been defensive and cautious. Cynthia would wait for the woman to step closer. Before lowering her guard a little. "You're on Vanquo, Territory of clan Solus, and I believe I've never heard of Clan bright sun. So I'm right to believe you are not mandalorian?" She asked in a serious and stern voice

Contrary to his ability to speak, the way he listened to the words spoken by Star would betray that it was only making the words himself he found difficult, as he clearly understood what she said. So when she seemed to imply a group specifically named that, he only shook his head and tapped his chest with a closed fist. "Godslayer tribe. Like this one, killed Gods. Humans by old tribe called.." He struggled to get out the next word. "M...and... Mandola...Mandolarian?" The pronunciation was wrong, horribly, but the word was close enough. At this point his tail was still, as though her straightening up her body put him on edge, and caused him to do the same.

"Come find tribe. Cast out for killing god. Need new tribe, will not last without."

Azure froze when she saw the woman reach for, what she assumed was, her weapon. She held her hands up, and stepped closer to the fire. Azure listened to the woman, and frowned, looking back into the shadows. I was right, cuddles. We're not on Dathomir anymore." A low growl came from Cuddles, clearly unamused at being so far from home. Azure turned back to the woman and lowered her hands a bit. "Pardon my ignorance... but what do you mean by Mandalorian? I've never been off-world before, I crash landed on some type of ship a little ways away."

Above Vanquo, a small, black ship slipped out of hyperspace. For a moment it would avoid detection, at least until the transponder was activated. It read out as a Recon Regiment vessel, and a call soon came over the comms to confirm just who it was. "Vanquo, this is Laandur Solus. Have some leave so figured I'd come home." The Mandalorian Blackbird slipped into the atmosphere, landing in one of the free sinkhole hangers of Darasuum Yaim. The recon specialist quickly locked down the stealth craft before walking off. Laandur pulled off his helmet, revealing his purple skin before walking, well, anywhere.

It was long before he came across [member="Stardust Australis Skirae"] . He noticed she was speaking to someone, so he just stopped nearby and leaned against a wall, his short stature probably hiding him decently at least.

Cynthia dropped her weapon down but still in her grasp. "No you are a fair distance from there. Also Mandalorians are what my people are called." Cynthia sighed and shook her head. "I assume 'Cuddles' is under your control yes, no rampaging or anything of the sorts?" She asked with more caution than anything. Seeing the rancor did not scare her. She had to deal with them on her verd'goten. They was nasty beasts but their weakness was their backs also their meat was not the nicest. Although that was now a last resort, she hated to kill needlessly and would rather attempt to use the power of her armor to tame the beast. "If you are prepared to travel I will pack up my camp and we can head back to Clan Solus territory."

[member="Sterling Kinslayer"] [member="Cynthia Solus"] [member="Laandur Solus"] [member="Azure Djitred"]

She listened, nodding her head and took a breath...well he wasnt wrong about mandalorians at all, truely they were God killers themselves

well my lizard friend, you've found them...guards go back to your normal stations. You my friend follow me we can speak inside yeah?

She noted his posture...way his rail stopped and then looked up as she relaxed herself and decided to try something. She moved her lekku in a more friendly welcoming way

I can get you food as well,no dount your journey has been long

Almost immediately, Sterling's tail and posture relaxed, as he was put less on edge from the situation. His tail flicked as if to express thanks, while he responded to the green one's offer. "Fine. More time hunting. Not bad time. Still water plenty. More.. cold." He made a small gesture to the world in general, trying to explain the temperature was not to his normal liking. He would survive yes but it was actually growing uncomfortable to be away from intense heat for this long.

Naturally, when Star moved to let him inside along with her, he decided to make a comment. "Komo strong, hunter. Can hear, smell good. Come with, no hide." Star absolutely would be able to pick up on the subtle body language Sterling was giving off, indicating he was not threatening Laandur, merely able to smell and hear him and finding it amusing he tried to hide. Granted he didn't know exactly where Laandur was, but he was able to tell someone had approached and stopped nearby.

Azure looked crestfallen being told she was quite far from her home, before laughing slightly at the idea of controlling Cuddles. "No one controls her but herself. I'm just the only one she behaves for. Last time she went on a rampage was about six years ago. Isn't that right girl?" At Azure's mental prodding, Cuddles stepped forward into the clearing slowly, and leaned down for Azure to get on. Strapping herself into the saddle, Azure looked down at Cynthia and waited. "Ready when you are."
