STRENGTHS

THIS PUPPY HAS TEETH: It is not the primary design of the ship, but the CR900 class has a significant weapons compliment for a ship of its type and size.

CAN MAKE YOU MISS IN MORE THAN ONE WAY: The maneuverability, the sleek angular hull, and "open spots" in the design can make it difficult for targeting sensors to lock on.

WEAKNESSES

EXPOSED SHIP SECTIONS: Well-placed shots could cut the ship to pieces, shields or not.

A LOT OF OFFENSE, LITTLE DEFENSE: The ship is designed for attack runs and sweeps, not sustained necessarily open combat. The ship might be difficult to target, but if you can, there is not a lot of protection. Meant to work with other ships in classification.

DESCRIPTION

Designed by the Corellian Engineering Corporation as a diplomatic ship, it would see use within the annals of the late Galactic Republic, Imperial Senate, and later as a combat craft in both the early rebellion and Rebel Alliance. Measuring 150 meters in length, it featured two dual and four single turbolaser turrets, and had the ability to reach a maximum speed of 950 kph. According to Luke Skywalker, some combat-outfitted CR90 ships could be equipped with six dual turbolasers. Capable of carrying an entire diplomatic escort, it had a passenger capacity in the hundreds.[SUP][13][/SUP] Although the ships were not built as carriers, three RZ-1 A-wing interceptors could be attached to the docking rings, allowing for a small escort. They would serve as the backbone of the early rebellion and Alliance. Though not particularly heavily armed, CR90s possessed enough forward firepower to destroy a Gozanti-class cruiser quite easily. This new model is anything but “Diplomatic”, but mainly for blockade running, but capable of holding its own against larger craft this little “Nexu” has some serious teeth. Newer avionics, more, and more powerful weapons, as well as powerful sublight engines allow this to get out of trouble just as quickly as she gets into it.
