OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To submit a minor produced anti-starfighter corvette for the First Order
  • Image Source: Star wars wikia
  • Canon Link: CR90 Corvette
  • Restricted Missions: N/A
  • Primary Source: N/A
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
STANDARD FEATURES
Contains all standard components for a military-grade vessel, notably:
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Adapted dual spitfire rapid-fire laser cannons, which utilize maser tech
  • Targeting Computers calibrated for rapid acquisition & starfighter attack/defense screening
  • Turrets utilize rapid swivel mounting and gyros, to increase rotation speed and tracking of smaller vessels
Strengths:
  • The Sisa-Class is a modernized CR90 Corvette, boasting good speed and durability for the present galaxy.
  • Boasts numerous rapid-fire dual maser turrets that fire rapidly with low power consumption.
  • Targeting and turret systems calibrated for fighting quick moving starfighter targets in close ranges.
  • Carries a single dorsal-mounted heavy turbolaser cannon for larger fighter/bomber variants.
Weaknesses:
  • Short attack range vessel, with little-to-no mid or long range capability.
  • Heavy turbolaser cannon requires high power reserves, limiting firing capability to short bursts rather than sustained fire.
  • Prominent bridge make obvious target.
  • Very specialized anti-fighter specifications, limiting versatility in combat engagements.
  • Limited front line combat capability, easily overpowered by larger vessels with longer ranged weaponry.
  • Rear of vessel more vulnerable to attack, with limited weaponry angling that direction.
Description:
The CR90 Sisa-Class Corvette is a newer, less common sight within the First Order navy, and primarily serves as an anti-starfighter support vessel, in larger fleet compositions. The main purpose is to provide defense screens for larger vessels against starfighter squadrons. The most notable feature is the replacement of previous laser cannons to numerous spitfire rapidfire maser cannons, ideal for outputting high fire rates with low power consumption. Due to the specialized anti-starfighter role the Sisa-Class plays, a combination of First Order and Chiss engineers felt maintaining the slower moving and firing cannons wasn't conducive to performing the task. There remains a single heavy turbolaser cannon on the dorsal emplacement, allowing the Sisa-Class to fire at heavier fighter/freighter variants if required; but using the cannon drains power reserves rapidly, requiring slower burst fire, rather than sustained fire.

Equipped with the new standards of the hybrid First Order and Chiss technological advances, including targeting and signaling systems, the Sisa-Class is a more modern CR90 model that is capable of performing well in present battlefields. Not only have the armor, systems and power supplies been updated, but the techs went a step further and calibrated the Sisa-Class systems to be ideal for starfighter engagements and microjump system capabilities, though the standard hyperdrive will struggle to perform this function. This did cost the Corvette the mid-to-long range capacity it is usually known for, but balance had to be maintained. Keeping with Chiss standards, a conner net warhead tubes have been included in the armament.

All in all, a highly effective anti-starfighter support vessel, able to hinder fighter squadrons in short range encounters; though its lack of mid-to-long ranged weaponry means it must rely on targeting smaller vessels at closer ranges in battle than standard corvettes.

Hello there, you seem to have included your Hybrid Hyperdrive; as I am sure you remember, though it was initially Minor you opted to drop it to Semi-Unique in order to keep the HIMS. As such, it can only be used on Unique or Semi-Unique vessels, please remove it. Even more importantly, the Crystal Gravfield Trap you included is explicitly mentioned as restricted technology in the current Factory rules. Remove it.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt, in this case, though I'm sure you are aware that linking restricted technologies to a three-letter abbreviation and not mentioning it anywhere else can be interpreted as an attempt to deceive the Factory. Please desist from doing so in the future.

To be clear, there is no leeway whatsoever in regards to the above. So long as this vessel has a Production above Semi-Unique (or Unique, in regards to your Hybrid Hyperdrive, since you chose to explicitly restrict it to Unique vessels) they have to go. In contrast, the following is fairly minor.
  • You may have misunderstood how Market Status means; it should be Closed-Market and simply means that while the vessel is only available to those listed in Affiliation by default, permission can be given, e.g., allowing rebels to steal a vessel at your discretion.
  • An Average Hangar Rating for vessels in the 100-199 metre range is zero Squadrons, you cannot free up ratings by lowering it below that. This seems to be balanced as is, however, so it's hardly a real issue. I would suggest changing it to Average for the sake of clarity, however.
  • You are missing the Single Craft Hangar field, per the most recent templates; this field is only included on Corvettes and Frigates and should be answered as "Yes" or "No". It's meant to represent the fact that some smaller Canon ships can carry a single starfighter or the equivalent.

AMCO AMCO Changes made:
  • Adjusted Market Status to factory standard (Closed-Market)
  • Adjusted hangar rating to Average (0)
  • Added hangar allocations and single craft to template
  • Removed accidental CGT (copied from an old WIP sensor bundle mistakenly)
  • Changed to standard hyperdrive (x1.2), and also added in description: calibrated the Sisa-Class systems to be ideal for starfighter engagements and microjump system capabilities, though the standard hyperdrive will struggle to perform this function
  • Also adjusted First Order link to include the /info extension (per previous judging mention)
Thank you!
