Despite her Mirialan heritage, she sports none of the cultural tattoos. In fact, she considers them to be distasteful. Her hair is dark, short and curly.
HISTORY
Vitani was born to a large, respectable family on Mygeeto. She grew up without much experience of the world beyond her front door and excelled academically. One of four sisters, she was the golden child. Vitani had rarely known any struggles in her life and had xenophobic tendencies towards non-humanoid beings. She was a hard worker with few friends. Vitani had a slightly unhealthy level of jealousy towards her sisters, who were budding socialites. Her eldest sister was an established General within the Sith Armada.
The Azumi family were loyal to the Sith Empire and profited handsomely off of the military industrial complex. Alongside her sisters, Vitani spent her early years within the Imperial Youth.
EARLY YEARS
Vitani left Mygeeto as a cadet when she was assigned aboard a Sith-Imperial Star Destroyer. During this time, she began to witness the wider galaxy and believed that the Empire was the key to solving widespread inequality and achieving galactic peace. She had a great deal of sympathy for the less fortunate, but did so with the belief that it was the Empire’s duty to liberate them by any means necessary. As a servant of the Sith Empire, Azumi continued her familial reputation of undying loyalty. She was rarely privy to the actions of her Sith overlords and had feared them for most of her life. With a squeaky clean record and stern patriotism, Vitani graduated and was stationed back on Mygeeto. During her time there, she saw little action and oversaw the mundane operations of its capital city police force. She developed a distaste for the underclass, though she wouldn’t quite put it like that. Street gangs were rife in the undercity and with that came all sorts of spice and smuggling. Vitani resented having to deal with it all and dreamed of some day doing something more ‘important’ in the grander scheme of the galaxy.
FALL OF MYGEETO ONWARDS
With the rise of the New Imperial Order came the outbreak of civil war. Mygeeto was one of the first worlds to be taken from the Sith. Vitani lost her parents in the resulting invasion, while her other siblings were offworld. It seemed that the rise New Imperial Order ran parallel to her own internal political conflict. Vitani survived the invasion, but many of her former-Sith Imperial comrades did not.
Vitani Azumi was retrieved from Mygeeto and recommissioned by the New Imperial Order. She was deployed as a strike force Captain, shortly before the battle of Prefsbelt IV. She primarly resides on one of the Order's many Inceptus-class assault vessels.
In her downtime, Vitani enjoys holo-chess and attending shooting ranges. She is also a martial arts enthusiast.
