DESCRIPTION
Entering into the Galactic political and corporate scene has broadened the range of individuals that Liin has come across. More often than not she is discovering that most of them are practitioners of Force Magic; something that she herself is incapable of. There are some Force practioners that are trustworthy; and yet others altogether would pull the wool over her eyes.

How many Force practioners are there? How can Liin and others like her know what kind of people they are dealing with? This is where the Covines Ring comes in!

Being made of biomolecule-infused pewter, the metal band is strengthened. Thereby it is dark, durable and beautifully carved to resemble some of the plantlife of New Cov. Encrusted with a Thaissen crystal, the Covines Ring helps the wearer visibly detect Force practitioners by emitting a faint glow. In order for it to be visible to the naked eye, it needs to be seen in darkness, which is why the ring's base is dark itself making the glow more prominent. Cupping the ring in one's hand provides a good enough shade to allow a faint glow to be seen. A blue glow indicates a Jedi. A red glow indicates a Sith.

However in order for the ring to work, it needs to be within a few centimeters of a person, which requires it's bearer to come up with creative ways for it to be used. And who is more creative than a politician!
