There was no hiding the look of relief on her face, as she glanced between both Bee and the porg. They were alright, perhaps a little shaken up from the whole thing, but neither of them was harmed. Valery herself was bruised and felt a little beaten up, but she had also not sustained any major injuries that needed immediate care. All things considered, their mission had been a success, albeit one with a very high price.

They had not been able to find a single survivor aside from the porg.

"Alright let's-" Valery stopped as a sudden warning overwhelmed her senses. Without having to think about it, the Force began to flow through her body to augment her speed and reflexes, making it seem as if time itself was slowing down for her. She then spotted Blackout lunging at her for the kill, and with his blade only an inch away from piercing into her breast to reach her heart, his entire body froze.

Valery's hand had clenched into a fist to extend a telekinetic grip over his entire body, keeping it levitating above the ground and unable to move. It trembled under the immense pressure she applied, and her fiery eyes snapped to his gaze, as it became clear that this would be its final moment.

Her body turned, her core twisted and with a single and final sweep of her weapon, she severed the assassin's head from its torso to instantly end it, and keep it from suffering its way to death.

"Bee," Valery said as she let the body fall back down to the ground. "Let's get out of here and make our report. People should know about what happened here." She let out a soft sigh. "We'll have to bring all these droids back with us too."

The astromech flinched, recoiling at the abrupt lunge on behalf of the assassin. Before BB-610 could have even processed what had happened, Valery acted in a flash of bright purple, elegant and seamless in her swing as the burning blade of her lightsaber sliced through the frame of the offending droid's neck. Goldenrod optics widening in surprise, Blackout's body staggered forward, aimless with lagging legs from failing response times, before the droid's head tilted back, completely severed as it fell to the floor with loud clanks and rolled a few inches. The beheaded machine's body no longer functional, it promptly collapsed to its knees, lifeless as it then slumped on its side, unmoving.

Taken aback by the desperate attempt on his Master's life, BB-610 could only watch in a cocktail of fear, relief, and vague sadness at the destroyed droid in front of him. It was for the best, however. Valery and BB-610 had completed their mission, as bittersweet a feeling as it were, and Blackout could no longer hurt anybody. Sending a slow but nonetheless understanding nod the Jedi's way, BB-610 began rolling over to the ensemble of inactive droids, glancing them over. They required a manual activation, but luckily the astromech was equipped for just that. Sliding a compartment open to retrieve his data rod, BB-610 promptly began reactivating the droids one by one by connecting it to their power modules, giving them just the boost they needed to awaken.

As the group began to chatter and talk, asking question after question, bweeping loudly and shaking, BB-610 began informing them of everything that had happened. The crowd was vocal of their fears, voices talking over each other in hysterics, but the astromech was determined to calm them down, chirping and clicking as he explained that once he and his Master reported back to the Jedi Temple, they could send a shuttle down to retrieve all of the now Master-less droids to try and provide them a home. While this went on, the overseeing porg flapped its wings, fluttering down and gliding through the air to land on Valery's shoulder, wings spread and head bobbing as it chirped happily, its webbed feet tippity-tapping in song and dance.

Despite their victory, however, the decapitated head of Blackout remained facing the Jedi, optics still glowing their signature yellow. Soon, it croaked, a stuttering fit of coughs rumbling to the best of his ability before transitioning into a glitchy, sadistic cackle - quiet and pained, but present all the same.

"I-It was a-as I sa-said, girlie," Blackout made out, synthetic wheezing following his garbled voice, "You ha-ha-have no i-idea what you're getting your-yourself into."

Finally, the droid's optics dulled to a lifeless gray, servos locked and shutting down permanently. None the wiser as to what had just happened, BB-610 rolled back over to Valery, bweeping and clicking as he told her that the other droids said they'd wait here while the two reported back. Spotting the astromech, the porg hopped back onto his head, gazing into its own reflection from the shiny top, warbling in fascination. BB-610 grunted, trying once more to shake the bird off, but the porg once again prevailed, seeming perfectly content on claiming the droid's flat head as its perching spot. Musing with low binary that the porg no longer has anywhere to go, BB-610 pondered if Kahlil would be okay with them taking it in.

As Jedi, astromech, and porg left for their X-wing with a promise to return for the droids, BB-610 couldn't help but feel like a weight had been lifted from his chest. His questions had been answered, and while it wasn't a flawless victory, good had come out of their mission, and it was enough to keep his spirits high.

Everything will be just fine.
