A war orphan that becomes a mandalorian. I think I'd like a species more human-looking for her. I'm always drawn to sephi but I have to tell myself no.

And a scoundrel working for an upcoming Hutt-run gang. I'd like him to be further away from human-looking.

Firrerreo (no, I'm not biased >.>) - stronger than they look, rapid healing, nictating membranes
Epicanthix - martial culture, natural resistance to mental attacks
Echani - martial culture, quite a few cool writers
Mirialan
Miraluka
Chiss

In lieu of a funi quip I'll second Kage, you don't really see them all that much (at least I haven't) and it scratches that itch of being Human but still distinct enough to not just be basic.

Well I kind of hope you don't read past my first suggestion because the board probably needs this to happen more often other than for intel on our enemies:

1st suggestion: There's quite an extensive amount of species that were created by members of this board. It seems like it may be worth a look through there.

2nd suggestion: Some other pointy eared or human-ish choices = Yevetha, Troll/Gremlin(what i usually call yoda's species lul), Thyrsian, Rodian (shout out to Joy ), Riileb, Nimbanel, Chadra-Fan, Morganian, Galandan, Sharu, Farfel, and Sephi which you already admitted to have an interest in so why not go with your gut?

3rd suggestion: Regarding non human characters, not sure how far you want to go but = Ugur, Lyra, Bosph, Herglic, Asogians, Hutt, Fian, Priapulin, Gree, Neti, Shards, Adnerem, Columi, Yam'rii, Toydarian, and of course astromech droids.

There may be some roll over between the two lists and possibly some species that I would consider celestials as a whole species such as Columi, Sephi, Fian, Ugur, Gree, and Troll. Honorable mention to Neti and Adnerem.

Oddly enough, almost any species you see with a picture in black and white in their description is probably a celestial. Shards, definitely shards. So just clarify with an admin.

Be a Weequay working for the Hutts. There's some good imagery for them, with the SW series now.
