Hello. I am the writer for the character
Her
. This is a really cool moment for me on the website. I have been writing on Star Wars: Chaos-- on, and off-- since September 5th, 2013. When I first joined the website there was the 'Character of the Month' icon on the side of the website (where post counts were etc.) and I always wanted to be on that list. While that function has since been removed it is still a very rewarding thing to now have a character voted in and to join the other writers who have had characters who were voted for this reward.
I would like to offer my commiserations to
Carduul Akahl
. You were second in the recent round of voting, and having been following what the Mandalorian writer base has been writing since the turn of this year I have been impressed by what is going on. Hopefully you will be nominated again this month and win! ♥
I'd also like to thank
Makai Dashiell
,
Baron Von Nuked
,
The Lord of Hunger
,
Amiggie Lutih
,
Laphisto
,
VaticanJanitor
,
Hemor Vechin
,
Diarch Rellik
,
Lord Dvasius
, and
Ellissanthia
who voted for my character in February. The writer base for the Empire of the Lost have been very kind, patient and lovely to write with since I returned to the website a year ago. In particular the MFO of the EotL has been particularly kind to me considering the circumstances of why I was away from Chaos for such a long period of time before I returned. I don't think many others would have given me the leeway and opportunities to write what I have wanted to so it is a credit to them as they were particularly helpful in me winning this reward as I wouldn't have got the chance to write what I have done over the past month without their co-operation.
Also, since they were founded at the end of last year, the writer base of The Diarchy has helped me to produce my best writing in a very long time, and the recent threads at Bastion have been a treat. I am looking forward to continuing to develop the Kakus storyline and hopefully write some cinema with everyone involved with The Diarchy, Empire of the Lost, and the Sith Order. A special mention to my friend
Darth Malum of House Marr
who helped me to set-up the Fifth Wing. ♥
Now I will answer all your questions. :3

If you could drink any drink from the Star Wars Universe, what would it be and why?
There is a drink called the
Gizer Ale that I first found out about from the book, '
The New Rebellion' which is from the expanded canon universe (not Disney) which tells the tale of how a Dark Jedi began a rebellion on the planet Almania a few years after the Galactic Empire was defeated. I found this book as a child tucked away in the corner of a bookshelf in my highschool, and instead of paying attention to the lesson, I begun reading the first chapter. I was instantly hooked so I borrowed it, and took it home, where I finished it inside of a week. The ale itself was described as tasting like candy which sounded appealing for me.

Question: Which, if any, non-Star Wars media have influenced the writing of your character?
I am, naturally, a huge science fiction fan. My favourite sci-fi universe is Stargate, and without spoiling to much, the latter main storylines in SG-1, and later it's Atlantis spin-off, were about the Ancients. My recent writing about The Builders have drawn inspiration from the Ancients, and the Prometheus storyline of the later spin-offs to the Alien franchise. I am also a huge fan of the Blade Runner franchise, and the 2049 sequel to the original is probably my second favourite film behind a South Korean movie called 'Oldboy'.
There is also a book called, 'The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows' written by John Koenig who accurately captures an aesthetic that I am also trying to capture as
Her
, and when I write I listen to ambient music created by the YouTuber, '
SpaceWave - Cosmic Relaxation' which really helps me get into the mindset of the character. My favourite upload by SWCR was
Giedi Prime which he made as a tribute to the recent revitalization of the Dune franchise of which I have only just became a fan of in recent years.

One question: What is Whottoomuzz's ideal vacation?
I don't know too much about this character but from the recent thread I wrote with them I could give an educated guess that it would involve a lot of femboys, spice and alcohol probably somewhere hot and humid.

Question: Who, in your opinion, is the best dressed character on Chaos?
It is clearly
Danger Arceneau
. Her writer takes the time to accurately describe in detail of how beautiful Arceneau is and the time she takes to present herself.

My question for the winner: Is your character happy with the direction their life has taken or would they rather have lived out their days as a humble moisture farmer on Tatooine?
This was a fantastic question. For the character of
Her
I don't know as she doesn't know much about her life before the current day circumstances. If you will allow me a little bit of a liberty, if I were answer the question as
Alicia Drey
, then I would say that she would have definitely preferred that tough time on Tatooine than the one she led.

QUESTION: Do you like scary movies? lol
If you are on about the Scary Movies franchise of the 2000s then yes I would say so. The scene in the second film where he is carving up the chicken with his 'good hand' is particularly funny. Here is a link to that for reference ->
Link!
If you were asking about real horror films then I would say that the only franchise I stuck with and have watched religiously every Halloween going on for years would be the Halloween franchise. In particular I really liked the modern films that they released in 2018, 2021 and 2023. I watched H20 when I was far too young for it and Michael Myers has been my boogeyman ever since.

Question: How far would you go to save the ones you love?
Her
has only ever loved one person, and she died a long time ago. I think she would do everything and anything to bring her back if she could.
Amiggie Lutih said:
My question for Her is: What is your character's goal? What do they seek to achieve?
Great questions!
Her
wants to destroy a particular Sith Lord on the website. Everything involving herself and the Empire of the Lost, and now The Diarchy, is an effort to manufacture a series of events to turn them against this particular person.

Question: If you could interview one canon character who would it be and what would you ask?
The character would be
Brakiss. I would ask, "Why didn't you go home, and stay there?"
Kaila Irons said:
Question for the winner: Is your character in love, and if they are, what was the moment that made you realize?
Her
is not in love with anyone, and she realized this when she discovered that the only person she
did love had been murdered a very long time ago.

Question for the winner: What is the character in SW canon and/or legends is your favourite, and why?
My favourite character is called
Kueller. The reason why I liked him so much is because he was cunning, effective, and more importantly he made sense. Naturally I don't like what he did, and he was objectively wrong, but for me the best characters are villains because they are at their most interesting when you come to understand why they are the way they are. In particular the opening scene of '
The New Rebellion' in it's first chapter is a fantastic piece of writing, and why I am a fan of creating settings that are highly elevated when I write
Her
.

Question: What is the submission that you have created in the Codex, or the Factory, that you are most proud of?
A Builders' Hymn.

Question: You wake up in a completely opposite universe (so for Val, you are a Sith Empress or smth like that), and day by day your old memory is being replaced by a new one. What would you do?
For
Her
she would be a member of the New Jedi Order, and if I understand the question properly, she would have her memories replaced by new ones. So, she would begin plotting against the Jedi Council to destroy the NJO from within, probably.

Question: If your character would be reading any books, who would be their favourite author?
I don't read much books anymore. I already mentioned John Koenig and his, "Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows," which has touched me deeply. But there was a publication of the book, "How to Disappear Completely and Never Be Found Again" in 1985, and it was written by Doug Richmond. It was a guide on how an individual could erase their old identity and disappear without a trace to begin a new life which I feel like
Her
would like.

Question: If your character had the chance to live a quiet life after achieving their goal, would they settle down or move towards another goal?
If
Her
's story doesn't end with her being killed then I cannot see them settling down. I don't think other characters would let them, and besides that she would find something else to chase. That is the nature of the dark side, unfortunately.

Thanks for reading. ♥
