CEC - Corellian Engineering Corporation. A name known throughout the galaxy, and a name synonymous with innovation and capability. As with many other Corellian companies, CEC suffered greatly during the Akala Crisis. Through resourcefulness and scheer business Acumen the former helmsman of the Company, Ayden Cater, the company survived mostly intact.

Shored up and running full steam ahead, the company was soon rocked by a series of internal setbacks around the time of the Great Galactic War, including the disappearance of both Ayden and his successor in a rather short time period. The think-tank bunker was often empty, the design team officers often quiet instead of full of raucous but good nature collaboration between brilliant shipwrights.

Eventually, a young Corellian with a moderately well known name for modifications an advanced ship works was signed on, his company falling on hard times as well. Cal Sedaire seemed to come with a sort of goofy an almost awkward magnetism that excited the people near him. From contractor, he quickly introduced several approved designs that got the company generating profit from a long tailspin of market share and income.

Not satisfied, Cal gunned for more and was signed on to the Think-Tank as a lead designer, and from there pushed more. Hire designers, innovate and change the game. Get back to the hallmarks of the bygone era, but get there by a new route. That was his game, and eventually the resurgence he helped generate landed him as the Design Director for the company, and even further to now step into the C.E.O. role, poised to bring Corellian Engineering Company back from the brink to new heights.

Political scheming and gambling instincts led Cal to be able to move his way quickly through the ranks and go from a trusted contractor, to a lead designer, and then to one of the Directors, and now the C.E.O.
