Hi all!

Just wanted to make you aware of this thread:

A culmination of pretty much everything from the Taung and Netherworld, fuelled by recent events, now leading Connor to the brink of the Dark Side and turning his back on the Silvers and the Light.

I don't know how this will end as it's not been planned and the opening post was hard to write, but I had to let Connor write it, not me, for a natural (hopefully) and honest moment in his up and down path.

I feel he will be alright in the end but it'll take a while to get him there so anything POST the memorial for Sochi Ru I will start, Connor will not be around for and he will leave the memorial without telling anyone anything or speaking to them.

Hey...it all makes for a good drama right?

I think someone should offer to be the counterbalance at least, i'm game but I think Coci or someone else might want to help too, so consider me reserved in case you want that option and nobody closer to him is available.

Oh wow first off bravo for letting the character be the one writing this story....

Now with that said....maybe its time to let Maya get a hold of him and pour her light into him and have one her full of wisdom talks

OOC: putting grumpy one aside for the moment. This is intereting .. of course I will help but it will have to be a bit later I am afraid. I am up to it in threads at the moment. But would glady do so in a week or two.

And the fact he embraced the Dark Side because of the Sith Magic is a concern. Has that jeopardised his whole standing as a Silver Jedi now? Hmmm.

If you think this through to it's conclusion, then yes probably. If Connor goes to the darkside his position on the council will go. ICly that would be the most 'realist' outcome. (naturally we would allow you to stay in SJO to help with character development as that is what we all do).

What would have been more interesting I think, (and just my humble opinion for this situation) is to have had the current events be the making of him, rather then his downfall. You could have had him become stronger of will and purpose and remove his rogue title to Jedi Master.

Everyone thinks that the only way for someone in this situation is darkness where there is a second option. If you wanted him to remain edgy you can do that equally with him moving to the extreme light side. The darkside as we are all aware, is corrupting and removes ones individual nature and is will consume them entirely eventually. The same is for the lightside if you take it to the extreme. This is what I believe, imagine a Jedi that close to the end of the spectrum? they too would become corrupted and corrupting. My way (pure lightside way) or no way.

They would become puritanical in my opinion. (And a right royal pain in the ... ass-sets) and Connor would still be on the council.

I do love Connor and his story, I just hope it's not coming across he's trying to get "attention", IC and OOC by doing these strange things and having up and down moments.

If the Sith Magic can be removed I hope he can start to recover, and I do hope that his journey lets him stay on the Light. It's just a culmination of things he needs to address, to conquer and find the best in all recent events and not just the worst so he CAN be a better person and a better Jedi - the Jedi I wanted him to be.

Talk about AWOL, he'll be self-exiled I think and hide away a'la Luke Skywalker in a cave or something.

Imho i'd play him full circle, stay in the faction through it all and see what that feels like to write out, but that's just me.

As a faction, we can even show that we can play that out, healing him all the through to the end of it. For me the Jedi I like to write stick by people, and although of course they wouldn't let them just waltz around the temple interacting with paddies for example (unsupervised), they'd be there for them going through their challenges.

That's just my 2 cents though, everyone likes to write out different things. You can go the extreme route of a force cage and have him spending time in it in a temple thread (writing out what that means), or the more relaxed route of having someone finding him, helping let it go etc. OR putting him face to face with it, as some Jedi were with these kinds of internal struggles encouraged to do. - That last one fits your exile, one quick example would be Juhani that comes to mind, but there are a lot.

BUT my confidence has to say please don't feel this is all "me me me", I hate to make it out like I want lots of attention from all the SJ.

This is totally up to you if you want get involved as little or much as you want. I don't mind. :)
