Connections

[Gevaisa]

I'm hoping to develop my newbie character through some RP. Any tips or suggestions about how and where I might form some IC connections with other characters would be truly appreciated! On the same note, if you're looking for RP and I can help you with this character, please let me know.

I'm accustomed to freeform roleplay. I may not be able to post much during the day on weekdays, but I can in the evenings.

Potential roleplay hooks, per profile for Gevaisa Rha:

• Untrained Force Sensitive. I'm hoping for Gevaisa to be trained, and that any roleplay will dictate whether she ends up Jedi or Sith or something else. I could envision her innate preferences leading her towards healing or mental/emotional abilities. If there is a teacher looking for a student, I would love to be involved.
  
  
• Research Historian. Likely to be found poring over data storage banks or a pile of dusty relics... possibly digging through tombs. Ancient civilizations, dead languages, and lost cultures are currently her prime interest. I could see her being asked to assist with this sort of thing, or seeking others to assist her.
  
  (I have in mind to start a loosely "GM'd" dungeon crawl thread through some obscure Sith tomb, but I'm not sure about the etiquette of running such things or the loot yet. If you're interested and/or have feedback, I would love to hear it.)
  
  
• Looking For Work. Along the lines of the above, Gevaisa would be looking for some sort of employment to occupy her time.
  
  
• Famous Parents. Her late parents would have had some renown for being dirty tomb-robbers and treasure hunters before their untimely and mysterious demise. It's possible they ran afoul of other treasure hunters or worse. Or perhaps there is a (stolen?) relic in the family's private collection that someone or something might want to obtain for their own use.

Is there any interest in connecting on something like this with this character? I appreciate suggestions.

The only hook that Veino might meet would be that she's an untrained Fprce sensitive. But, if you just want to meet somewhere and socialize to help get her established as a character, I'd be up for that. Veino is also an empath, so that could help with the mental/emotional skills.

[member=Veino Garn], I think socializing would be a good start. Where in the galaxy might Gevaisa be likely to bump into Veino? (Btw, a Jensaarai? Awesome!!)

[member=Chee Saren], I think two yellow/orange twi'lek empaths need to run into each other at some point... if you're game.

Also, if I do use Sorin, timeline wise this would be before he went to Korriban, so he's just himself by the time they meet =P

Alderaan for the most part, but he travels around, so he could run into her pretty much anywhere outside of Sith space.

(Sort of. He left them with the intention of returning, but hasn't gotten around to it yet. It's on my list thought to work on getting to be a full Jensaarai defender.)

I’ve started an open thread to see if my character can run into anyone else there… not sure of the etiquette or how best to handle things, so I’m just sorta throwing it out there to see who bites.

If that setting or situation doesn’t work for you or if you’d like to get our characters aware of each other but in a closed/private setting, please message me and I’d be happy to work something else out.
