[Aedan Miles]

1. Is piracy an option? I feel like it should but for now lets say Military/Viceroyalty both hold my attention.

2. Me on a kick NO NEVER. Not like I am playing a highly cliche character at all.

3. Yes more privates ships for the Pirate King. Aside from that na everything is nice.

4. I like the idea of both institute an overarching story that has hints of itself in each thread but also let each have its own story. Kind of like a main quest and side quests along the path.

5. Y'all are doing amazing Keep it up.

 

[Daxton Bane]

1. Dark deals in shadowy corners while standing proudly in the light.

2. The challenge to do something different, perhaps complete bizarre and unexpected.

3. Redheads. Well aside from literally me.

4. Overarching goals are nice keeping scope to the universe.

5. The staff rock. It never gets boring and it always a pleasure to write. I just wish more people would tag Daxton, hit me story ideas or plot arcs you want to push forward, especially with the newer members.

While Daxton is an established Sith Lord, he is also a very rich merchant rumored to have underworld links, a lore gatherer and collector of the strange and unique. Oh and he hates shopping like the plague, I have my eyes on you two.

1. Military.

2. Ill write pretty much any kind of story assuming it fits my character, however I am flexible.

3. Not much, the obsidian order fits me pretty well.

1. Which area/aspect of the faction most appeals to you? (i.e. Military, Viceroyalty/Politics, Mandragora, etc.)
I'd say politics, with emphasis on domestic affairs as far as individual systems are concerned.

2. Tell us about your muse - is there a particular type of story that appeals to you or your character the most currently? Are you on a certain "kick" of any sort?
I have always been a demanding writer and wish to write with others who also share the same muse...extensive writing. I'll be honest up front, I rarely write short posts.

3. Is there anything that is missing from the faction in your eyes? Is there something that you'd like to be added or changed that could better feed your muse?
I'll reserve this answer for a later time, as I've just joined and haven't yet had the time to fully explore this faction's spectrum.

4. Do you prefer overarching storylines that lay the foundation for all of our threads? Or do you prefer each thread be its own, separate adventure?
I would definitely say overarching the stories for the whole of the faction. But currently I aim to first establish my presence and function within it.

5. General Feedback - How are we doing? What can your staff team do better?
Well, so far I'd like to give [member="Fidelis"] and [member="Srina Talon"] recognition for providing me with invaluable input that made me join this faction. Not certain at this time if they are staff, but many thanks just the same.

1. Which area/aspect of the faction most appeals to you? (i.e. Military, Viceroyalty/Politics, Mandragora, etc.)
Bwah... I've still kind of got stars in my eyes, I like it all. If I had to pick a corner though... potentially the Mandragora

2. Tell us about your muse - is there a particular type of story that appeals to you or your character the most currently? Are you on a certain "kick" of any sort?
Well, I mean I am a writer by trade. I just love to write pretty much anything with anyone. Specifically for Emberly, however, her story is one of growth. Her journey is to come from meek, timid, abused little girl into a warrior powerful enough to take on her father. (Not unlike Daenyres from early GoT, when she was first sold to the horse lords)

3. Is there anything that is missing from the faction in your eyes? Is there something that you'd like to be added or changed that could better feed your muse?
I don't know that I've been here long enough to make a judgement call here. From what I've seen from my poking around though? It looks amazing. I can't think of anything it needs to have added

4. Do you prefer overarching storylines that lay the foundation for all of our threads? Or do you prefer each thread be its own, separate adventure?
I like the purpose that comes with an overarching storyline, but at the same time, I also like the freedom of threads having their own adventures. Although if the overarching story was kept sort of bare-bones-ey, more of a direction rather than a fully fleshed out plot, that would likely be my preference.

5. General Feedback - How are we doing? What can your staff team do better?
Oh my goodness you all have made me feel so welcome. You're absolutely wonderful, don't change at all!

 

[Katria Vekarr]

1. Which area/aspect of the faction most appeals to you? (i.e. Military, Viceroyalty/Politics, Mandragora, etc.) I'm really big on the military area, though I have dipped into the other areas as well. I enjoy getting into the nit and grit of combat IC while still maintaining a little bit of drama for story.

2. Tell us about your muse - is there a particular type of story that appeals to you or your character the most currently? Are you on a certain "kick" of any sort? To be honest, I'm all over the place and trying to pull back into my focus. Definitely going to be kicking back into gear with Katria to get her story rolling again.

3. Is there anything that is missing from the faction in your eyes? Is there something that you'd like to be added or changed that could better feed your muse? This is a constantly changing answer because Metus is constantly working on it and I feel that it's nice to have something that's constantly evolving and adapting; as long as it doesn't do it too often.

4. Do you prefer overarching storylines that lay the foundation for all of our threads? Or do you prefer each thread be its own, separate adventure? It really depends on the stories and the characters. If the story is nice and one I can integrate into? I'm all for it. If it isn't you know I'll tell you and am willing to help come up with others!

5. General Feedback - How are we doing? What can your staff team do better? Rolling with the consensus (yeah yeah I know I'm staff) I think the staff are doing a fantastic job!

 

[Garza]

1. Which area/aspect of the faction most appeals to you? (i.e. Military, Viceroyalty/Politics, Mandragora, etc.)
Currently really rooting for the Knights Obsidian as they were in the first alteration of the CIS back when I used to play Darren Shaw and Xander Carrick. Would be a nice tie in for Zeph's story to be part of that legacy as well. However, I would like to see more dominion or faction threads based around the Mandragora and their magic practices without having to find some new relic or something. Just the story itself.

2. Tell us about your muse - is there a particular type of story that appeals to you or your character the most currently? Are you on a certain "kick" of any sort?
Working with Bambi/Emberly on the story those two will have together will be top priority for me considering that Zeph is a family guy, and I think making his own kind of family will be good for him. While he still loves the Verds and his own Carrick family, he wants one of his own.

I also want to move more forward with Zeph more so as a Judgmental character that feels he has a right, and a duty to uphold. Since he has been a wanderer for so long, I want to give him a place where he feels his belongs outright. Continuing with the Knights Obsidian, I think this will be a good place to do that.
3. Is there anything that is missing from the faction in your eyes? Is there something that you'd like to be added or changed that could better feed your muse?
Already kind of mentioned it above with the Faction groups and what stories I would like, but I will add I want to do more stealth stuff with Zeph because of his Spec ops group I am working on. Really fits the theme.

4. Do you prefer overarching storylines that lay the foundation for all of our threads? Or do you prefer each thread be its own, separate adventure?
Much as bambi stated where it should be a barebones connection between the stories, that is fine, but a full fledged story line will be difficult with a large major faction like this. So many people that could take it so many ways, it would be difficult to do, and if one move is taken in the wrong direction. it all falls apart.

However, I would love to create a theme behind some big Bad guy that we have to face, and over the course of a few threads/dominions where he happens to pop up, he will be taken down eventually. That seems really cool to me.

5. General Feedback - How are we doing? What can your staff team do better?
"You guys are already listening, making it welcoming for new people, and wanting as much critique as you can get. That already is showing me that this is a place I want to be if I want my voice to be heard and maybe considered. I will say, it is a lot better than the previous iteration of the CIS simply due to that fact.

 

[Vyra Silara]

1. Which area/aspect of the faction most appeals to you? (i.e. Military, Viceroyalty/Politics, Mandragora, etc.)
Answer: The Viceroyalty / Political scene is my favorite, I can't wait to truly get into it, but I do enjoy dabbling in the 'military' aspect with my smuggler. The Mandragora is intriguing me more and more, though, and I'm a staunch non-Force girl, so congrats for grabbing my attention there!


2. Tell us about your muse - is there a particular type of story that appeals to you or your character the most currently? Are you on a certain "kick" of any sort?
Answer: My muse is an odd little thing. A lot of what I create is built from preexisting ideas or characters in media that I give my own little twist and flavor. As far as the portion of it that applies to the CIS and Chaos in general? Music (instrumentals and film score) is a huge 'scene builder' for me, as are photos and paintings. Graphics play a HUGE part, casting 'playbys' and creating profiles. I spend a LOT of time working with graphics and building inspirational folders. Certain TV shows like Firefly / Serenity, Scandal, Dark Matter, Game of Thrones, The 100, The Tudors, Reign, Chronicles of Riddick (the list goes on) are always inspirational, as well as games like Mass Effect and Guild Wars.
I really enjoyed the Starlight Festival dominion, although there hasn't been a dominion I haven't loved, and the Speed Dating dominion is turning out to be a close second favorite. But I'm on no particular kick right now! (Although I'm dying to find more reasons to use my Pretty Dresses and Aesthetics folder and 'wear' my outrageous gowns while I tell some NPC politician to bugger off in the most fancy way.)


3. Is there anything that is missing from the faction in your eyes? Is there something that you'd like to be added or changed that could better feed your muse?
Answer: I have two main 'types' of characters that I love to write (although these are by far not the only ones!). The regal, feminine, refined but fiery and sensual 'royal lady' type, like Inara Serra, Elena Gilbert, or Padme and Leia. And the smuggler / street rat / morally grey / troubled woman in its many forms, like a female Han Solo, Octavia Blake or Eretria from Shannara Chronicles. The CIS has a home for both, as well as anything else I can imagine. <3


4. Do you prefer overarching storylines that lay the foundation for all of our threads? Or do you prefer each thread be its own, separate adventure?
Answer: Honestly a mix of these would be perfect. Maybe think of it like the Star Wars movies? Overarching and character unifying storyline for all CIS members makes up the 'main' threads (like the 1-8 'main' Star Wars movies) for big things like invasions as well as a running collection of faction-and-friends-only threads not associated with the map game to flesh out and progress the story, and then because it's also important for writing communities to have fun and freedom and separate adventures, use things like Dominions and smaller writer-created storylines (planet threads and such, like I plan on opening a fun thread for all of us on Ryloth as soon as I get Quinn in position there) for those (rather like the stand-alone films and games/tv shows). (Hopefully this makes sense, it's like 7am and my brain is fried, and rereading this now it does sound a little 'too big a scale', but just throwing thoughts out there.)


5. General Feedback - How are we doing? What can your staff team do better?
Answer: You're attentive, you're loving and you watch out for your members, you're beyond creative and are always giving us the best threads to play in (and the best graphics for said threads!). You give 110% of yourselves to this faction and these people, you're always open to new ideas and allow us so much creative freedom with our roles. Discord Chat feels like a big family. There's almost no drama to distract from our hobby. The CIS is my first experience with a faction of any kind on this website, and letting Guy drag my stubborn rear in here after two years of persistent pestering joining you guys is and was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my eleven years of role-playing anywhere. You're doing an absolutely phenomenal job, all your blood, sweat and tears are beyond appreciated by all of us, and I'm so grateful to be part of your family. <3

 

[Katrine Van-Derveld]

1. Which area/aspect of the faction most appeals to you? (i.e. Military, Viceroyalty/Politics, Mandragora, etc.)
Mandragora definitely comes first. Something wonderful and flesh from something classic, I'll guard it with my life <3 Otherwise, curious about the Knights Obsidian for which I have Ana to explore.

2. Tell us about your muse - is there a particular type of story that appeals to you or your character the most currently? Are you on a certain "kick" of any sort?
Kat's muse is fickle and does what she wants. Right now she's super serious and going on her Witch discoveries thanks to the Mandragora with the occasional adventure that will land her in trouble because let's face it, she's a Van-Derveld and a Hawk raised by crazy Draclau. She's headed to serious but with some mischief on the way. I have plans of her growing up into the Warrior Queen of Figaro Favoura VII but she has a very long way to get to it.

3. Is there anything that is missing from the faction in your eyes? Is there something that you'd like to be added or changed that could better feed your muse?
Nothing specifically for the faction. Kat could use some more shiny stuff from the factory. But otherwise we're never static and always trying to better things so I've got no problems unless you touch Mandragora (then I come find you and hurt you <3)

4. Do you prefer overarching storylines that lay the foundation for all of our threads? Or do you prefer each thread be its own, separate adventure?
Depends on the story. Some threads being on their own are fine but we could on occasion do something in parts. Kat's development is continuous through every single faction thread because I believe in development way too much.

I'm not gonna judge myself. The rest of you I looooooooooooove so very much. I demand more [member="Darth Metus"] attention in character but otherwise, you're golden, all of you <3

 

[Scherezade deWinter]

1. Which area/aspect of the faction most appeals to you? (i.e. Military, Viceroyalty/Politics, Mandragora, etc.)
Politics + Mandragora. I really want Scherezade to join this or other political path.

2. Tell us about your muse - is there a particular type of story that appeals to you or your character the most currently? Are you on a certain "kick" of any sort?
A bunch. That's why I'm trying to thread out as much as possible, though I haven't had much luck with CIS people outside of faction threads (invasions and doms).

3. Is there anything that is missing from the faction in your eyes? Is there something that you'd like to be added or changed that could better feed your muse?
My muse is fine Can't think of anything.

4. Do you prefer overarching storylines that lay the foundation for all of our threads? Or do you prefer each thread be its own, separate adventure?
A combination, in which every thread is its own, but put together there's an overarching story they tell.

[Ithiel Vi'Dreya]

1. Which area/aspect of the faction most appeals to you? (i.e. Military, Viceroyalty/Politics, Mandragora, etc.)
I Joined with a Military Gal (Khia Varad) for small scale stuff. An Assassin (Kas Varad) for individual hits, and Ithiel who is an engineer, commando, jack of all trades master of none type. They also have different leanings (currently) on the DS - LS spectrum. Ithiel being Neutral, Kas being dark and Khia being Khia just in it to shoot things. I don't care which one I write for the thread, whatever is needed.

2. Tell us about your muse - is there a particular type of story that appeals to you or your character the most currently? Are you on a certain "kick" of any sort?
Me Personally, I enjoy freedom to approach the thread as I want. For types I like comedy. | I like combat. | I like social events in new locations | I like traps | I like intrigue | I like mysteries | I like not knowing what's coming exactly, just having an idea | I like plots that I can follow without needing to read 5 pages, so a summary is good in a long thread. Most of all balancing this, having something different on a regular basis.

On Objectives - I like one to three people to write with and do a back and forth. More than that doesn't translate so well to text imho, as it is very easy for someone to get left out of the flow. Imagine 5 people all turning to each other and saying something at the same time as an example.

3. Is there anything that is missing from the faction in your eyes? Is there something that you'd like to be added or changed that could better feed your muse?
Don't know yet. Not been here long enough. Bases seem well covered. If you got all the tech, fleeters, grounders, and people making plots. Lists of these things like Faction NPCs, Tech, Locations, Ongoing Plots, A character wanted list - Opportunities for Characters and Companies that you need. For new alts or new starters.

4. Do you prefer overarching storylines that lay the foundation for all of our threads? Or do you prefer each thread be its own, separate adventure?
Either. Don't care.
If you do an arc, give me an OOC summary as we go and all is good. I do like reoccurring things, NPCs, Villains, Allies, Locations, Units etc that have a bit of history with the faction and see regular use.

[Veronika Fleischer]

1. Which area/aspect of the faction most appeals to you? (i.e. Military, Viceroyalty/Politics, Mandragora, etc.)
Mandragora is definitely interesting. Plays well with the character's development.

2. Tell us about your muse - is there a particular type of story that appeals to you or your character the most currently? Are you on a certain "kick" of any sort?
Life of a celebrity. Mental instability at times, a bimbo when it comes to vanity stuff and yet intelligent in other areas. High maintenance drama queen with a obsession over her life. It's always her way... well mostly. Also, gotta make use of her fashion store business.

3. Is there anything that is missing from the faction in your eyes? Is there something that you'd like to be added or changed that could better feed your muse?
Mandragora spells. Rancors for witches?

4. Do you prefer overarching storylines that lay the foundation for all of our threads? Or do you prefer each thread be its own, separate adventure?
Either is fine. I just sort my own timeline when necessary.

5. General Feedback - How are we doing? What can your staff team do better?
Eventually more stuff can be developed. Misc fluff like parades, political system, clothing (I think I should work on this).

 

[Arabella Darkhold]

1. Which area/aspect of the faction most appeals to you? (i.e. Military, Viceroyalty/Politics, Mandragora, etc.)
Want to change Bella's direction of how she is aligned within the force

2. Tell us about your muse - is there a particular type of story that appeals to you or your character the most currently? Are you on a certain "kick" of any sort?
I like trying to integrate what we know of the SW Universe into my stories. I always enjoy exploration threads, or character development.

3. Is there anything that is missing from the faction in your eyes? Is there something that you'd like to be added or changed that could better feed your muse?
At the moment I don't think so, I'll think more on it.

4. Do you prefer overarching storylines that lay the foundation for all of our threads? Or do you prefer each thread be its own, separate adventure?
I am good with either.

We always seem busy, which is a good thing.
