HISTORICAL INFORMATION

With the emergence of the Imperial Confederation as a new galactic power, COMFIC was established with the purpose of both fully exploiting the industrial potential of the many worlds controlled by the Imperial Confederation and ensure the proper development of a strong economy for the Confederation. The task of overseeing this vast initiative would be given to Imperial Prefect Nolle Tron by the Supreme Commander Marlon Sularen, a member of the Imperial Ruling Council who had overseen the establishment of COMFIC in the first place.

Under the leadership of Prefect Tron, COMFIC would establish it's headquarters on the Imperial Capital of New Alderaan where it would begin the process of launching major civil works projects across Imperial space and managing lucrative contracts with external suppliers in order to ensure the growth of the Imperial economy and the expansion of the Confederation's industrial base. With vast authority over the Confederation's economic and industrial base along with the logistic networks key to supplying the Imperial Military, COMFIC is poised to play a key role in the future of the Confederation.
