"Giving an economic report" indicates that what is being reported is accurate, and there is no reason to suggest that it is.

Kerkov has a history of talking out of the side of his mouth about the FO and I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression from his commentary, that is all.

Ignoring the "Talking out the side of my mouth",(Not to say this isn't correct, but it was a little rude) Natasi is correct. I'm not providing a report, just an opinion from someone with no control/power over the area.
