  • Description: The Clone Siege Troopers are the bane of infantry and armor units, with an impressive knowledge of how to whittle down even very strong armor and shields on enemy units while defending their own with deft skill

  • Combat Function: These units employ powerful heavy weapons and shock and awe tactics against a wide range of foes, often using the very heaviest of vehicles
  • Force Abilities (Force User Units Only): None
Strengths:
  • Aegis: These Clones specialize in conducting Assault and Defense with Heavy Vehicles and Personal Cannons, devasting both enemy infantry and their vehicles. Easily capable of Bringing down Heavy Starships or Ground Bases with their vehicles and weapons due to an education in defeating armor and shields. Their equipment is so thick and tough it can withstand severe batterings even by modern weapons. Their personal gear is capable of surviving at least glancing fire from weapons like the E-Web, if not outright withstanding a few solid hits from weapons mounted on light military vehicles, to say nothing of their ability to withstand small arms fire for extended periods, either from Projectiles, energy weapons, or even average strength grenades. For especially intense sieges, they activate a bubble shield and March elbow to elbow for frontal assaults, firing their CipQuads
  • Siege Tactics: Their most common preference is to simply surround and bombard heavy targets from all sides with their strongest weapons until they kill their enemy or they get a surrender. They are also adept at viciously resisting sieges upon them at all costs
  • Dead Eye: They have exceptional aim with their Personal Cannons, and with certain weapons, like the CipQuad, a Lone Clone Siege Trooper can pose a threat to even light defense starfighters if they fly too low
  • Resistant: Their intense focus and discipline allow them some very minor resistance to mind tricks and weak Force Illusions (And also prevents each and every last one of them from mentioning what corpo made them. They will happily lie right to your face.)
  • Fearless: Normally, these Clone troopers will defend or assault a position to the death or otherwise fight without any regard for their own demise unless specifically ordered to withdraw or retreat
  • Perfected Clone: Brilliant tweaking of their genetics long ago by BMC means these clones do not suffer from Clone Degeneration once fully grown. They also do not suffer from Clone Madness. Their particular template has been modified to grow slightly faster, and accept flash training more easily. This leads to reduced weight for replacements.
  • Jedi Friendly: No hidden murderous compulsions or behavior chips, so no need to worry about getting sixty-sixed by a large group of them
  • Tough: Their Heavy Exoskeleton Armor, styled to look like Phase 1 Armor, greatly increases the user's strength as well as their durability, to the point they can survive coming under considerable direct attack with blasters and potentially survive close by grenades. They may even be able to survive glancing blows from a tank's vehicle mounted Anti-Personnel Weapons
Weaknesses:
  • Organic troops, Organic Problems: They have all the weaknessess of a typical organic...need for food, waste disposal, counseling if suffering extreme trauma that overrides their otherwise fearless nature
  • Outdated Equipment: Though their defenses are powerful enough to stand up to modern weapons. Their artillery weapons, while still immensely powerful and dangerous, may not necessarily be able to penetrate certain modern alloy composites and shielding that would be relatively simpler for more modern weapons. This can cause sieges to drag out in certain cases, as more ammo/time/energy must be expended to crack exotic defenses, and slow their advance, or compromise attempts to defend. That said, with enough patience, even the best enemy defenses can possibly fail from the relentless expenditure of energy weapons
  • Force Users: Despite mental resistance, they are still vulnerable to every other Force Power, including Lightsabers
  • Melee: Best at ranged weapons. Kung Fu isn't really a strong suit.
  • Bioweapons: Due to their tweaked genes, they are slightly more vulnerable to bio attacks then other Clone Weapons
  • Slower Heal: Due to tweaked genetics, the heal slightly slower than a regular human, even when fully immersed in Bacta, their recovery rate is still slightly slower than that of a normal human immersed in the stuff
  • Slow in General: Their Heavy armor protects them, but it renders them slower than normal Clone Troopers by about Twenty Percent.
  • Large: Carrying those personal cannons make it difficult to maneuver easily, and makes them larger targets
  • Slow Vehicles: Their vehicles are quite slow, and need more time than other Clone Artillery units to get in position. They often must be protected or screened in their approach by non heavy units that can move faster or have a more varied set of techniques. Without that, they are much more vulnerable
  • Weight: Their Cannons are powerful, but eat a lot of ammo and Carrying it can tire one out
  • When all you have is a Hammer: Don't send these sorts for Delicate Work. They are all about the scorched earth policy and will not be able to hide their approach without outside assistance
  • Expensive: Walkers and tanks are expensive so there are relatively few units of these deployed unless there are truly massive operations afoot, so that a total loss will not hurt the Bank account
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Heavy Troops whose walkers and Tanks are often used as Siege Breakers, These Clone Units are for threats neither the Offense or Defense Troopers can truly handle by themselves. Grim and methodical, they pitilessly calculate just what it will take to break a stronghold, or what it will take to prevent one from being taken. Once done. They attack a position without mercy until they receive a surrender or confirmation of hostiles cleared. Blunt, unsubtle, and focused on victory even if their fellow brothers must die, The Clone Siege Trooper is a menace almost without compare on a conventional battlefield field. After their four year job contract is up, Bacta-Works goes out of its way to find them gainful employment, housing, and community integration
