With the Annihilation thread on Panatha winding down I wanted to clarify something on behalf of the Admin team regarding the results of Annihilation threads.
A few months ago, it was decided that the SWRP Staff team would no longer judge PVP threads, and that the factions involved could do this amongst themselves. If there were disagreements then it would be raised to the Admins who would mediate.
There is one thing we would like to make clear however; the Admin team reserves the right to not allow the actual destruction of the planet if we feel the thread does not warrant it. This includes spamming of posts by a handful of writers to meet the 400 post requirement, an excessively long duration or another breach of the rules.
This would only be used rarely and sparingly, but it is there as a safety net in case something were to happen.
Basically, let the thread flow, and if it can't make 400 posts without spamming then…let it go.
The Annihilation of Panatha has been approved and the planet will be removed from the map soon. Congratulations to all the participants!
