• Description: An ancient but well-known Clan on the planet Kiffu. Many of their members served as Kiffu Guardians and had the ability of psychometry - the valued honour, loyalty and success

• Domain: Sub-sects of the clan are spread out across Kiffu - due to the majority of their members being Guardians, they interact with the community and have a good and respectable relationship with the general populace.

  • Hierarchy: Clan Tynen operates how a traditional family or clan would, with a patriarch and/or matriarch heading the clan. Like the rulers of Kiffu and the commanders of the Guardians, these patriarchs/matriarchs of Clan Tynen were known as Sheyf
  • Membership: As a reputable clan on Kiffu, there are many members of Clan Tynen who were either born into the clan or married into it.
  • Climate: Clan Tynen values honour and loyalty, but above all; success. As stated by Cas Tynen, members of the family put an overwhelming amount of pressure on the younger members to succeed, resulting in his self-confidence issues.
  • Reputation: The general populace view Clan Tynen as a respectable and powerful family due to their service to the planet as well as the amount of time they have thrived.
  • Curios: Members of Clan Tynen, like many other Kiffar clans, have distinctive facial tattoos - or qukuuf as a way of identifying members of different clans. Clan Tynen's was that of a turquoise X shaped qukuuf that was applied to the left side of a member's face at their birth.
  • Rules: Be honourable, be loyal to the Clan and to Kiffu, bring success to the Clan.
  • Goals: To serve Kiffu.

  HISTORICAL INFORMATION
  Clan Tynen is one of the oldest and most socially powerful clans on Kiffu - just short of Clan Vos. The Clan was founded by its first member Tynen, a female Kiffar and one of the first members of the Kiffu Guardians. For generations, due to their gift in psychometry Clan Tynen served as Kiffu Guardians and had close relations with Clan Vos - Kiffu's rulers. All children born to Clan Tynen were prodigies and knew nothing but success in life until the birth of Cas Tynen - the clan's first Force-sensitive member in generations, unlike his twin sister and many cousins, he was not a prodigy and had his parents and other clan members sights focused on his success. With the stress of constantly failing his parent's and clan's expectations, Cas fled his home planet and joined the Order of Silver Jedi, being the clan's first known member to become a Jedi.
