- Description: The Children of C were initially a part of three stages of a large undertaking of the N&Z and more particularly Credius Nargath. Located within the old territory of the Zweihander Union, children of various humanoid races were brougt to facilities managed by the N&Z. The goal for using these children was twofold, with on the one hand the creation of supersoldiers, but also the search for possible ways to utilize the mutation the Zweihander Union and N&Z chairman at the time was suffering from. While in the first experiments the children were mainly used to deliver samples from which homunculi were grown, with the contraction of the Zweihander union and the fall of

into stasis, the children themselves had become resources. Through the experiments with these children, the organization which upheld the ideology of The Lord of Hunger and which had put itself to the task to maintain the blacksites of the N&Z in secret had managed to create partial soul-vessels for the Lord of Hunger, men and women through whom the mutated being could manifest his will wether the individual was fully aware of it or not. All these individuals are colloquially known as 'The Children of C'.

The Lord of Hunger
AKA Credius Arcosius Nargath is the origin of the organization's power, the one who holds tabs on all of those who act under the banner of the Children of C. - Big Sister, the Mirrored Lady:
Amalia Visconti | Mira Rhory
as one of the first semi-successful results of the Children of C experiments is considered the leading figure in the open, having led the sleeper cells and the speakers of the organization while the Lord of Hunger was in stasis, maintaining the organization as a network of loyal and unwitting spies to the N&Z and more specifically Section C which still operated in the name and under the pretenses of the Lord of Hunger. - Speakers: These are those children of C whose integration of the Blackwing strain 71 was successful, always bearing white hair and having gray to red eyes, they have a strange similarity to the Lord of Hunger when it comes to their presence within the force. They act as conduits for the Lord of Hunger's will and are in their own right capable beings in part due to the integration of the blackwing strain and their partial integration and take over by the DNA and RNA of Credius Nargath himself. The Speakers are fully aware that they are conduits of the Lord of Hunger's will and are thus capable of opening a two-way line to allow the Lord of Hunger to temporarily take over their mind and their very being, though in return this also allows for unique sort of hivemind communication.
- Sleepers: These are Children of C who despite having been succesfully converted have either been given suppressors to keep their own mutational properties dormant or which have been rendered dormant by outside interference. They are generally unaware of their existence as sleeper agents and are generally not able to be fully taken over like speakers and can generally only be used to act as unwitting eyes and ears unless if they are forcefully "awoken".
- Father of All: 'C', The Father, The master, He who knows:
- Membership:
- IC: The thousands Children of C were three generations of children between the ages of 2 and 6 years old in 860 ABY, meaning that by now they are all adults, with additionally also a few hundred homunculi much like Amalia Visconti. While in later years there were smller following generations, the organization has only sporadically gained new members as procuring children with force sensitivity became much harder after the second hyperspace war. Adults may technically also be turned into a child of C, though they have lower percentages of success and may be more likely of becoming mobius tyranicus; yet if necessary and the subject is willing to take the risk, the procedure to inject one with live cellular samples from the Lord of Hunger is all that's necessary to either become a child of C, a monster...or die.
- OOC: To be part of the organization, some connection to the following organizations is mandated: N&Z Umbrella Corporation,
- Climate: Officially, there is less risk in being part of the Children of C than there is with workin in your Local Palpateashop. While dangerous missions can be part of the organization's repertoire, generally the most used method is observation, temporary mindcontrol and only sometimes murder and extortion. Most who nowadays become Children of C are generally already strong and powerful people in their own right compared to the children of yore. This means it is in essence a much safer organization to be part of than your average army or mercenary group.
- Reputation: due to its absolute secrecy, the Children of C are mainly relegated to documents and cyphers within the N&Z, with little evidence of their existence. The most known piece of this organization would be the Mobius Tyranicus which are louded as supersoldier rejects from the old days of the N&Z, but with all but one seemingly missing or stuffed away, one could argue that the Children of C simply have no reputation at all...among outsiders. Insiders, those who've been knee deep into the dark sludge within the N&Z are more than aware of the effectiveness and the insane operational efficiency the Children of C have. The fear stems mainly from the fact that while the markers to recognize a Child of C would be distinct, the manifestation of these markers might not always be permanent and only manifest upon activation of the 'invader' genes, such as is the case with
Amalia Visconti | Mira Rhory
who only reveals the typical markers of the Child of C members when they are being controlled directly by
The Lord of Hunger
. - Curios: All Children of C carry a stylized Section C pin either on their clothing or in one of their pockets, as the Section C pin is a means to recognize one's value, but also one's allegiance. This behavior extends to sleepers, who have the strange, unavoidable need to have this pin on their person at all times, never realizing why.
- Rules: Above all, the Lord of Hunger's will is their law, it is the singular, most important rule to follow. The speakers, the sleepers, even the individuals who are part of neither, all must kneel in the presence of the will of their master, their father, their lord. They believe that through following his will, they will reach a better place in the beyond. They are neither aware of their true purpose nor aware of what sort of monster their master truly is. It is therefore that the organization can also be considered a cult, as the staunch belief in the Lord of Hunger's infallability makes the organization certainly feel and act that way.
- Goals: [ What are the goals of this organization? Future plans for expansion? Collection of information? Providing education to those who seek it in certain skills? Supporting charitable works? For all intents and purposes, this is your in-character intent with this organization. ]
-
The Lord of Hunger
: originator of all the homunculi and the forced gene therapy, founder of the program and elevated to cult-like leader figure status. -
Amalia Visconti | Mira Rhory
: One of the first created Homunculi by the program, officially to be considered a 'Speaker', but due to long personal service and dedication can be considered the No 2 in the organization's hierarchy. - MT-01 'Mr Pollux': Mobius Tyranicus with above average intelligence, while a parallel research project, as a Mobius Tyranicus, mr Pollux has similarities with the Children of C as the MT too are creations utilizing the mutational properties of Credius Nargath's blood.
-
Hraelga Nacht
: Captured during the collapse of the Brynadul horde, experimented upon in one of the outer rim blacksites of Section C, accidentally turned into a parallel creation akin to the Children of C with the potential of forming the next step. -
Tertius C. Nargath
: Secretly experimented upon by Section C under the watchful eye of Amalia Visconti, while a failed Child of C, he retained the rank of Sleeper due to the successful implantment of Credius Nargath's blackwing strain, albeit in a dormant form. - Charles Castex: One of the original co-developers of the program and original mentor to Amalia.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
When Credius Nargath was driven out of the old Confederation of Independant Systems, he set up the Zweihander Union by Usurping the Directorate and as such backstabbing
The Jenova program initially was meant to handbuild a homunculi vessel for Credius Nargath, who in his desperation had already started the KREDIUS project on his own as a sideproject, transcribing and programming a copy of his mind and personality into his highly advanced AI KRONOS as a sidepath to see if through technology his will might remain intact. The Jenova program also began to include the Mobius Tyranicus program as a means to create supersoldiers for the Zweihander Union, but was cancelled after just a few MT's were produced due to high aggression courtesy of the forced mutation and mental collapse of the subjects. The Jenova program continued on track, but the costs and the eventual use were... immense. Lacking the accellerated growth procedures utilized by Kaminoan cloning facilities, additional facilities had to be built to educate and train the created homunculi, though after some evaluation and several revisions, the Jenova program proved to be...insufficient and wildly expensive to maintain, draining resources at a rapid pace from the Zweihander Union and the N&Z Umbrella Corporation.
Luckily not everything was for naught, finding himself in a rapid stage of decay and aging, Credius ordered the jenova Program to be shut down in favor of the creation and construction of the tomb of C, which would be the largest and most extensive research facility the N&Z had ever built, utilizing the disguise as a tomb to honor the Chancellor of the Left to hide the true purpose of the Zweihander Union's funds being diverted to said construction. The remnants of the Jenova project were shipped to the new facility, alongside most of the MT's and the droves of abducted children. A sophisticated network was created to retain control within the N&Z and Amalia was set up as the liaison between the N&Z which was passed to Willhuf Nargath, the brother of Credius Nargath and the newly created Section C which would continue the work Credius had started on The Redoubt and in the shadows of the massive corporation.
Section C started the project 'Children of C' on the same premise as Project Jenova, but in stead of creating homunculi, all the abducted children were forced to undergo gene therapy alongside a massive brainwashing in order to instill absolute obedience and loyalty to the 'C' of whom they'd be the children. As expected, the most succesful ones would be the ones with a high sensitivity to the force, with almost all of the children gaining the typical markers of white hair and gray/red eyes as a result of the gene therapy. These markers would also act as the most telling sign of succesful bonding. those who succesfully bonded with the mutational genes of Credius Nargath would be educated, indoctrinated and sent out into the galaxy as speakers and agents to Section C, though others among them would also be set up in the N&Z itself, or utilized to continue the shadowy organization's research activities.
Those that did not bond succesfully, but did survive the gene therapy were noted to have at least a dormant presence of the mutation within them, which could be activated by forcefully having their connection opened and established. These would become the sleepers, set free after inspection and memorywipe programs. Sleepers would be observed by Speakers in order to always keep tabs on them for whenever their existence might be a boon to Section C.
The organization saw a resurgence when Credius Nargath awoke from stasis and began a new chapter in his search for greater meaning as The Lord of Hunger, utilizing the Children of C to abduct force sensitive individuals to still his 'hunger' and to continue the work to create the ultimate replacement vessel.
