STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
[+] Dodging Intuition: Intuition is key, and Lyra's intuition hasn't failed her yet, neither has her ability to sense other's motives. Even without the force, the charismatic woman readily disarms with her words. Words can only go so far and Lyra is always ready for battle, her intuition normally grants her the first action in combat. While it's not always the case, she's just as good with blocks, dodges, and redirection if needed.

[+] Shoto Ataru'Kai: Lyra had always been more attuned with a lightsaber than she had been with the force. There had been two forms she in particular, learned, the first of which was Ataru. As a girl, Lyra was never the strongest of the younglings but she was the most dexterous, or among the most anyway. When she'd been sent to construct her saber as last part of her trials. The girl came back with a shoto blade, her Master then sought to teach her Jar'Kai, if only for her own safety.

[+] Hold Still!: Aforementioned, Lyra is highly dexterous; compensating for her lack of physical strength. When one might have thought her to fall prone, she instead makes a dashing reflex save to land on her feet. Alternatively, even in the most precarious of situations Lyra is able, make acrobatic attacks and seems to do greater damage at times from these attacks. Once more, her Master often wondered if he was training a Padawan or a warrior.

[-] Haunting Regret: She could have saved her master, she could've, but she didn't. Instead, Lyra watched in horror as her master fell to the dark lords. While she stood there frozen in terror instead of coming to his aid. No Jedi could ever display such cowardice. His memory forever haunts her as does the last expression he bore on his face. Because of this, she rarely gets a full nights rest and may become fatigued more easily throughout the day.

[-] Pride: As it might often be with young Padawans who are strong with the force and more than adept with a saber. Lyra's pride is often her downfall accusations, challenges and threats often goad her into hot-headed actions that lead to nothing but misery in the end. A lesson that she's not yet learned, and for her prowess suffers each time she engages in a quarrel that has been instigated by her pride.

[-] Shoto Alone: Due to Charlyra's complete and total focus with shoto blades, she is ineffective with a regular sized blade. In addition, her upbringing with the Jedi Academy on Coruscant left her with a disdain for blasters, slugs or any other weapon that is not a lightsaber. She considers those weapons barbaric and has never properly trained with them and thus suffers massive penalties anytime she handles them.

[-] Et Tu Atlas: While Charlyra's certainly gained in confidence, perhaps it's a bit much. In battle, she feels the need to do everything, and this results in an overstressed acolyte and frankly, it's unnecessary stress. This stress makes her very exhausted, overextended and ineffective for the battle at hand. Fatigue is hard to overcome and harder when it's been induced by stress. She'll take longer to recover anytime she's exhausted through this overextension of herself and/or her force abilities.

DESTINY:
Creation

APPEARANCE:
Tatooine is bright, always and as such her skin has become more reflective of this. Darker toned lines of where articles of clothing shield her from the temperatures that would otherwise burn her. She wears a breather that covers most of her mouth and is connected to her torso's medium armor. It's not a permanent contraption, though she enjoys the ability to breathe clean air, dust-free, and to keep her burns from ever being shown to the world.

Her metallic arms glisten against the sun as she walks through the desert. Dark brown, and even black at times hair, slithers past her shoulders when she removes her veil. Those at the cantina who know of her simply leave her be, dark eyes that hold a haunted to look them tell a story all on their own.

BIOGRAPHY:
War changes things, and it changes people. As a young child, no more than four Charlyra was taken from Chandrila to Coruscant where the teachings of the Jedi Code began. Even then, young Lyra was unsettled with it - after all, Chandrilians were taught balance. In all things there is balance, and to live cooperatively with those around you, including the environment. Something she saw little of from those in the Republic. Still, she was here to learn the ways of the Jedi. Lyra as most younglings or Jedi Initiates were - was separated into a clan. Clan Wulfsmaw became hers, an aggressive pack who routinely needed to be reminded of the Jedi Code.

The older of the Wulfsmaw, a Trandoshan named Khrad took to ensuring Lyra knew how to protect herself in combat. While the middle of the clan, two other humans Derru Orbik and Iontha Vale initially set out to make Lyra's life miserable eventually came around to her once she proved she could do more than just protecting herself. Aside from Khrad, Derru and Iontha there was a total of ten in Wulfsmaw with Lyra being closer toward the younger of the set. Others of their clan included a Bothan, Pol Trey'Sei, a Cathar by the name of Jazina, a Tortugan Noru Gaansyl, a pair of Zabrak brothers, Jokkan and Ezznak Vaoss, finally a Mirialan girl by the name of Ammee Vynn.

Of all her clansmen, Ammee was the one who Lyra grew closes too. Ammee was just a few years older but was the first to exhibit kindness toward the young Chandrilian upon her initial arrival into the clan. Khrad saw it as a pairing of cubs, no different than himself with Derru and Iontha, or even Trey, Norn and Jokkan. In fact, he instructed Ammee to see to Lyra's integration with the others. Looking back on it now, Lyra wonders if Khrad knew what he was doing. Rather, what he had done for as time went on Ammee's bond with Lyra grew and so did their affections.

It was Ammee who would affectionately call Lyra by little names such as Lyly, or Nimmy when she was feeling particularly cheeky. Ammee wasn't as aggressive as the others, she, Noru and Trey was in fact the softer of the Wulfsmaw Clan. They brought peace and resilience to the clan, and more importantly Ammee balanced Lyra's temperament and pride. So much so that Lyra became less tolerable after Ammee was taken to Tython to meet with her new master and to begin her training as a Jedi Padawan. Meanwhile, the native Chandrilian was miserable. A young thirteen or so year old girl who had her heart taken from her. It was here that the Zabrak brothers noticed the change in her behavior and reminded her. If she was to make it to Tython. She would have to do better than the rest, a fact that Khrad drove home just before he had been taken to Dantooine for his own padawan training.

Goodbyes are never easy, and as one by one the Wulfsman clan drifted off into their own training, Lyra did her best to maintain contact. She was taken at the age of fifteen to Tython where she was more than eager to reunite with a then nearly eighteen-year-old Ammee. While both girls did their best to try to contain their affections, their connection was hard to miss. A connection Master Ra'alon, a Twi'lek who had taken Lyra as his charge did his best to remind her. Reminding her of the Jedi Code. There was no room for passion or emotions of any sort in the code. Once more, Lyra found herself at odds with the very code she had been given to live by.

While Master Ra'alon did his best to keep his rather, passionate, Padawan in line. There is only so much one can do, Ammee and Lyra were determined to make it work spending as much time as they could without it being noticed. At times they would sneak away from their training finding themselves beneath one of Tython's many waterfalls where the sounds of the fall combined with the curtain of water concealed them from physical view. Ammee's ability to disguise their force aurae did better to hide them prying Jedi eyes. Unfortunately, no young Padawan can truly disguise themselves from their own masters. Ammee's Master Zhocah and even Lyra's own Master Ra'alon colluded on how to separate them, both girls would be a terrible thing to waste if forced into the Jedi Corps. With Ammee being so close to finishing her own trials, Master Ra'alon decided it would be best to take Lyra away from Tython. Ra'alon and Zhocah promised unto each other that their Padawan's affairs would not escape either of their lips.

Lyra with the greatest of sorrows said goodbye to Ammee, in the hopes that they would one day meet again.

Now that Lyra was off of Tython, Ra'alon could see that his Padawan was more than a handful. Her aggression, pride, and vanity did little to serve the Jedi Order, but to serve her own needs, furthering her own agenda. Ra'alon more often than not had to reel her in and wondered if the Jedi Code would ever sink into her skull. Lyra admitted she did not believe in the code at all, but would do her best to abide it. Her Master argued she would have to believe it, and serve it as she was a servant. The first six months as it were, were more than challenging but Ra'alon knew that Lyra was more than capable of becoming a Jedi Knight.

Within the next year, Lyra slowly adhered to the code and came to an understanding with it. Meditation helped a great deal as she recalled her earliest teachings of balance, and found ways to exercise her aggression outside of battle. Ra'alon was now more confident than ever that with more time and finesse his Padawan would no doubt become a Knight. He continued to work with his Padawan as they reached the Ankus system, drawn here by a personal matter Ra'alon felt ashamed to even discuss it with his Padawan. A message from his brother appealed to the Twi'lek and though he knew to ignore it, felt compelled to see to whatever it was that troubled his brother. Ra'alon should have known it was a trap, a trap set by his brother Kom. Kom while never a force sensitive creature, knew those who were eager to slay one and make a profit from it. Profit had always been Kom's motivation, Ra and Lyra were able to outwit Kom this time, but Ra knew for sure that his brother would be the end of him in some form or another.

Lyra inquired of her master why it was Kom was so eager to see his own kin dead. Ra turned to the code, that Kom's emotions led to his ambitions and resentment. Kom having never had the force. Became jealous, a jealousy that turned into resentment, resentment that bred hate toward Ra. The resentment grew and festered because Kom did little else to focus his energies turning toward a dark path. Ra used his brother's tale to remind Lyra of what could happen to her if she turned from the light. It was with this in mind that the young Padawan truly began to take the code to heart.

Soon her devotion to the light and the Jedi Code would be tested.

With wars burning at every end of the galaxy, consuming both Coruscant and Tython, Lyra was eager to return to their roots and thus were on their way to lend aid when Kom had ambushed the light corvette between Ord Mantell and Taris. Demanding that Ra and Lyra meet them aboard the cruiser, Lyra advised that they remain on their vessel. Death is not the end, he told his padawan as they boarded a shuttle for the cruiser. Kom this time had brought a very important friend along, Lord Saprus who had long since been a rival of Master Ra'alon. Saprus had dispatched her apprentice, Tabium to break Lyra away from her master. Lyra and Tabium took their battle to the control tower of the hangar.

The fight against Tabium was brutal but short.

Tabium's opening of force lightning had been nothing the young Jedi had ever faced before. In return, she dispatched her light saber cutting against the dark apprentice's armor forcing him back just enough so that she might recover into Ataru form. The two hold their sabers close, Tabium with the double bladed, while Lyra works with her shoto. Strike, counter, strike, strike, a counter was their dance both well-skilled lightsaber battle. With their masters dueling below them, Tabium wanted to be done with this - he had no time for a Padawan. So he struck with an electrocution move from his force lightning abilities, Lyra retaliated with stun forcing a battle of will. Will that Lyra had more of than Tabium, blacking out into force the apprentice manages to catch the Padawan off guard using a strike from behind.

Lyra immediately throws up her force guard and spins to strike. Unfortunately, Tabium is the cleverer of the two, using a combination of force slow and his saber, ducking underneath Lyra's strike. One end of his saber cuts through Lyra, and an arm falls to the ground. It was her own fault, her pride had gotten her, she like Tabium felt him beneath her and underestimated his abilities simply because he was Sith. Meanwhile, down below Ra was not fairing any better against Saprus, Saprus who was having her way with him and Tabium who looked to be doing the same with Lyra.

Alarms began to sound as allied forces were coming to both Lyra and Ra's aid, Tabium sought to end Lyra but misread her next move. He moved in to parry against her, but she was much to agile. Leaping over him she dispatched her saber and this time, it took out one of his legs. In his rage, Tabium immediately released a torrent force lightning against Lyra who tried to use her saber to deflect but all it did was channel it. It was fortunate for her that the pain the dark apprentice was suffering was too much, but by then the damage had been done to Padawan.

Her ego now more than wounded, Lyra's pride erupted into something far beyond any emotion she had encountered before. In that moment she lashed out with her force stun, the apprentice smiled because he could feel the darkness swirling within her. He summoned his saber and pulled himself up along the wall. Both looked down watching as their masters continued to fight, Lyra walking toward the edge of the railing leaned over to watch her master fight Saprus. At least until the moment where Ra's brother appeared. The screams of shuttles crashing into the hangar did nothing to conceal what Lyra saw next, in her mind, she knew she could force leap over and end Kom's miserable life right then and there.

Kom drew his brother's attention just as Saprus finished him, Lyra screamed from the upper levels.

Force leaping down, she found herself locked in a saber battle against Saprus. Saprus feeling the darkness within Lyra began to feed it, in doing so she enraged her own apprentice. Tabium used the rest of his will to get down to the lower level. As Saprus and Tabium's own allies began to fall, the apprentice wanted now more than ever to be done with this padawan upstart.

Jedi Knight Khrad rushed from his shuttle watching in horror as his former clansmen, with one arm did her best to fight off a dark lord and her apprentice. He and other Jedi's managed to fight them off, but by that point, Lyra had lost her second arm and was now being taken with haste toward the shuttles. Khrad picked her lightsaber off, remembering to repay both Saprus and Tabium. Back aboard Master Ra's light corvette headed for an undisclosed location, Khrad oversaw Lyra's medical procedures. New prosthetic arms, and heavy work on her throat and chest, slowly one by one burned flesh was discarded. In their place, cybernetic parts.

Khrad greeted Lyra when she awoke. Lyra mourned her master, and Khrad informed her that until a new master could be found for her, she would travel with him. They were heading back to regroup as a unit with others in the war. There Lyra was reunited with Ammee, who Khrad had picked up from somewhere in Hutt Space, as per the usual with Wulfsmaw. Always getting themselves into a hot mess as it were. Here with Ammee, Lyra was able to recuperate - sharing with her lover the events of her life since they last saw each other. Ammee shared her adventures as well, though not nearly as colorful as Lyra's.

As much as they wanted to rest, the war raged on and they were needed.

To battle once more, Lyra, Ammee, and Khrad went to work, fighting rival siths, smugglers, bounty hunters and whatever else needed to end in order for the war to end. The more they fought, and the longer Lyra went without an actual master, the further away from the Jedi Code she got. Darkness began to consume her and were once light sided powers came with ease, now she struggled with them.

Realizing what she was becoming. She left no word as to where she was going only a parting note, expressing her sorrow, and her guilt. How she wishes for nothing more than Ammee to find happiness, and for Khrad to become the Jedi Master than they all needed him to be. She could no longer see herself among their number. Having taken her master's old light corvette, the once promising padawan left for the far reaches of the outer rim.

Tatooine.

There, she could find herself.
There, she could perhaps commune with the force.
There, she could one day become the Jedi her master knew she could be.
