Private Chance Meetings at Nar Shaadda

Heavy riffs and a mugful of caf, and we're good.
Christine listened and then followed Finn's gaze, as he looked after the old man again leaving for the kitchen. Based on what Finn told her, she could understand their connection to one another. Finn seemed to be a more emotional person than Chris had ever thought, or he had given away before. It surprised her considerably, but in a good way. It was like she had broken the hard shell of the man she had interrupted at the bar. A shell he had built up intentionally and might hold against enemies and business associates, but to her fell like a house of cards. It was not a bad thing. She liked him better that way. A lot better. It made him less of a pirate, and that would be pretty inappropriate for a judge to like, wouldn't it?

''Sooner or later, we all have to say our goodbyes to people we love. Yet, we never seem to be fully prepared for it...'' she added ruminatively to his gloomy statement, with one of her own, it hit her. She straightened herself and squirmed on the spot and proceeded to take her jacket off, putting it to the side. Her arms were fine and lean, with subdued muscles achieved from hours playing the guitar and also swinging blasters at bad guys. A prickle crown tattoo decrated her left upper arm.

Chris smiled for herself while examining all the dishes on the table, before glancing up once. ''Hmm, I never took you for a family father, Finn. You've changed quite a lot since Binaros, I can tell.'' she said, wearing a soft smile as she started to pick things out of the different bowls and plates onto her own. Filled dumplings and a couple of seafood rolls, along with pouring up a black liquid in a tiny bowl to dip the delicious treats in.

Chris continued to listen to Finn explaining what happened to his prizes and bountys collected.

''I believe you, Finn... I'm glad to hear and see that the tough guy casually smoking a death stick got other - more honorable - qualities. The life of a judge isn't an easy one either, but me and Pleck do pretty good aboard the 'Riff'' she said, before popping a dumpling into her mouth, smirking as she chewed it down. ''Staaars, this is sooo good. You've nailed it tonight, Finn! It's simply amazing. I've got to tell mr Getsuyan when he returns.'' she declared and glanced over at her date for the night.

Finn sat and watched tentatively as Chris managed to removed a layer, his eyes admiring her toned arms, and slender form. In kind, his hand came up and removed heavy button after button with a loud click as he worked his way down his heavy petticoat. Removing it, much like Chris, he wore a sleeveless black tunic. His arms like her's were toned, but like on the beach, his forearms were wrapped up to his elbows, covering the scarred tissue that were his slavers brands. However, on his neck, clearly moving down his back and chest, were new, and gnarled scars, from the torture he had endured. His eyes locked with hers as she spoke of fatherhood. " I think change isn't the most appropriate word, i think awoken would describe my experience. In a world where there is nothing but pure, unfiltered, corrupt evil... i like to think the truly good things in life, that is what is most precious and priceless, and it is those things that we should covet and treasure, protect without hesitation."

He flinched a little bit, hearing the disapproval of some of his more questionable habits, but felt that Chris saw past those masks, those habits, and saw him for who he was, but on the flip side, he had let her see him, he had invited her in, and in return, she was inviting him in to her world.

His hand came up to his neck as he rubbed it, then rotated it and crackling would be heard. He got up for a moment, removing the large leather belt on his hip that held his gun, setting it down with a metallic rustle and clank in the booth next to him, getting slightly more comfortable. He would then make his plate, picking a few things here and there as he would nibble, a soft smile on his face as he watched the enjoyment that Chris got from the food choice he had picked today. Leaning back slightly as he would move the stray strands of hair from his face he spoke. "You know, speaking of your ship, i don't suppose it'd be too forward to ask to see it, so I could say hi to Pleck too would it?"

As they enjoyed the delicious meal of small plates and sides and shared their stories, Chris listened attentively of what Finn told her. Indeed, he had gone through some form of transformation since they last met. A good one that was, and towards what she considered to be the right direction. He still had some attributes that she did not approve of, very few ones but smoking death sticks being one of them.

''Oh, not at all!'' she said with mirth, confirming that he was more than welcome aboard her ship; The Star Riff. He would have to pass the test of getting along with her canine companion if they were to have a good friendship, so she thought it to be better having it done soon. ''Of course, you are welcome aboard! In fact...'' she continued and swallowed down the dumpling, wiping her hands on a napkin. ''That's a great idea, as it's an unconditional requirement that you and him get along... if we're going to be able to meet again. You know, he can smell a death stick from a mile away and are as fond of them as I am, so...'' she finished, wearing a teasing smile upon her lips. In reality, she had little doubts that they would get along just fine. Chris could just imagine how Finn threw what packs he had left into the garbage bin when he got home. The thought made her snicker lightly.

''You're a real poet, Finn. I like that, and I really hope that you stay awake from that sleep you suggest you've been in.'' Christ stated more seriously and took a sip of the glass of beer that mister Getsuyan had given her along with the food.

''I pretty much live on my ship, but how about you? Got any fixed point in the universe?'' she asked, remembering that she might have never asked him about where he actually lived. She followed up with an upwards nod and glance towards his neck. ''What's the story behind those?'' she said, getting a little gloomy.

Finn smiled as he leaned back once again, both arms up in the booth opposite to her as he listened to Chris go on about her companion Pleck, Chris teasing him like she did about 'his' requirements, but all he could do was smile in response to her goading. His head came down as he rose it up just slightly, making eye contact. "Well I hope that I meet his standards... because I would really like for this.... to keep happening." Finn chuckled as she described him as a poet. "A poet huh? That's a new one, never been called that... but rest assured, if this is a dream, I'll stay asleep." Referencing the evening and date they had been partaking in.

Home. That word rang in his mind as he allowed his hands to open up and motion to the small, old, and run down shop around them. "This is my refuge... it always has been, and i suspect, it will forever remain so." She mentioned the scars, and immediately his face tensed just slightly as his eyes narrowed. Pain, along with a chill worked his down his neck and across his back as memories flashed before his eyes, a pit in his throat forming as he shoved it down. Taking a deep breath in, and then out, Finn looked towards Chris, but his gaze almost seemed to go through her. "Its not really a good dinner subject... but lets just say the Chiss Ascendancy isn't the friendliest to outsiders. But... I suppose if your really that interested in them.... I wouldn't mind showing you them... " His eyes locked with hers as a smirk formed just slightly. "So, would you like to lead the way to your ship? "

As Finn continued his allegories by comparing their date to a dream, Christine smiled widely after chewing down another bite of the utterly delicious and exotic food Finn had got them, courtesy of mister Getsuyan.

''Well... I guess a poet and a musician would go along pretty good... if the poet would keep up with the rythm of the musician...?'' she said, holding in a chuckle, before she realised that she was admiring the man in front of her. A few flaws aside, which Chris hoped that she could help him with, Finn was true at heart and just so sweet when she looked past that pirate image. She really digged his thick, ivory tuft of hair, she came to think of as her gaze was drawn to it. He would look so boss on stage, with an attire matching hers, Chris thought as she brought herself back to the conversation at hand.

Chris quickly understood that she had hit a wall of complicated history, one that she might not understand completely, and she reached forward and gently laid a hand on his.

''No. Let's leave it at that, I won't push you on answers to things that hurt. Only if you give them to me by your own free will.'' Chris explained sincerely in a muted tone, before catching his smirk and giving him one of her own, and it grew in response to his eagerness to see her ride and home.

''Eager are we, Finn?'' she said and leaned back again, taking another sip of the beer. ''Are you already done? I'm ready when you are.'' she added, crossing her legs and lowering the beer into her knee, tossing a blonde strand of hair aside.

Finn couldn't help but to smirk towards Chris as she spoke on keeping up with the rhythm, mentally noting however the longer the two spoke, the more time the spent with one another... there was a joining that seemed to occur as each kept up with the others ' tete de tete ' which in his opinion was one of the things he admired most and loved about her. "Oh, i suppose i could learn to keep up with a rhythm, if i had the right partner... that is, and if that someone helped me keep in touch with it." His eyes and smile just flirting with her own gaze. However, pushing back towards the more serious part of the conversation, Finn noted her willingness to let personal history be just that... not pushing for an answer, but, Finn looked at her as he stood up, holding his hand out for her. " I want to tell you, just, not around the old man. He doesn't need to know everything, some things are easier for others to burden than some, but I promise you this, I'll never keep a secret from you, open book."

Finn chuckled once again as she mentioned his eagerness and his appetite. Eager? Oh yes, the thought of having Chris alone in a private setting appealed to him, to a side of him that he'd never experienced before. Her smile, her gaze, her scent, her body, her heart and mind -- it all appealed to him in such a strong fervor, it surprised him, but, he simply flashed his smile and chuckled lightly. "You caught me, yes, eager i suppose could be used as a word to describe my feeling, but as far as my appetite is concerned, it is sufficiently sated... no worries Chris." Having stood up, Finn would allow her to stand up as he assisted her and would pull her close once again to him, basking once again in her own personal scent as he would bring her hand to his mouth and give it a gentle kiss, eyes never leaving hers. Speaking slightly louder, he would holler back towards the back at the old man. "Hey, Old Man; I'll be back at some point, help clean up and with your day tommorrow since I'll be in the port for a little while." Noting the kitchen seemed eerily quiet, looking back, Finn noticed that the lights had been turned off. "Tchk... Old Man, Always a sneaky one." Finn chuckled as he looked at Chris. "Well, looks like you'll be leading me on this part of the evening ma'am." He spoke in a slight chide, a smirk forming on his mouth.

''That's good...'' Chris replied quietly and put on a soft smile in response to his answer about keeping up with her rythm. Their gazes were locked to each other, before Finn explained his intentions not to tell her in front of the old man. A decision that she deeply respected, and she were also glad that he seemed honest enough to really mean that he would never keep a secret from her. Honesty were something Christine valued very high.

After putting on her jacket and with the help of Finn the gentleman, Chris stood up and watched with amusement as he kissed the back of her hand.

''I always had the image of pirates being worse than scruffy-looking nerf herders... You're not like that, Finn. I'm impressed!'' Chris said as she led them down the sidewalk towards the landing platform where her sleuth were parked. The night started to get chilly, but after the delicious meal and good drinks it was not something that got to Chris at this time. Still, she nestled her arm around the lower back of Finn and walked close to him. It felt good to do so. It felt... right, after what he had showed her of himself tonight. The possibility that they could of rather would become more than friends seemed not so distant, actually.

Chris led them into a building complex and up an elevator, and once they left it, the A-27 Sleuth greeted them on the landing platform. It was used but well maintained.

''There she is! Isn't she beautiful?'' Chris suggested with a smile and a good feeling of being home, before she walked up to it and up the ramp. There was a clank coming from the cockpit, and out of it jumped the crystal white canine to greet them both. ''Whoa! Hey there, Pleck! I've been gone too long again, haven't I?'' Christine said while crouching down to pet him and were met with his wet kisses. ''This guy here is Finn, and he's my friend. Remember what we do to friends, right?'' she added with a nod and glance back at Finn, minding Pleck to be nice to their guest.

With his dark blue eyes, Pleck looked behind Chris and carefully examined the male visitor, before he let go of Chris and wanted to take a closer sniff at Finn. The vulptex were a proud but friendly animal, open to visitors as long as they were Christines friends and being nice to her. Chris had little doubts that they would go along just fine. Otherwise, the small but cozy ship were filled with musical and artistical items from her shows and recordings. A small galley, a sofa littered with pillows and a captain's quarters and two bunk beds. Everything a judge and musician like Chris would need on her journeys through the galaxy.

Finn couldn't help but to smirk as Chris nestled herself into his body as they walked down the pathway to her ship. Nodding in silence at the security teams that watched the platform elevators Finn still stood silently as he held her close to him, truth be told, he was savoring every moment, ever touch he could. It felt good, felt right to have her by his side... and it would take a sheer act of a God to take him away again from her. As the platform came to a halt and she broke free to display her showmanship and enthusiasm, Finn couldn't help but to crack an even larger smile, teeth showing as he nodded, affirming her pride and joy in her home and ship.

Entering the humble abode, Finn's eyes scanned the interior until the crystal white canine, emerging from the cockpit caught his eye... Pleck. Setting his possessions down, Finn knelt down, putting his hand out as Christine explained the importance of being kind to friends. Allowing the canine to do its thing, Finn simply scratching him behind his ears and rubbing Plecks sides as she smiled, looking up towards Chris. Standing now, he began to walk slowly around the room admiring the musical instruments and memorabilia that Chris had collected over a period of time, it was impressive, but it was her, this home -- reflected a lot about her and he couldn't help smiling softly. His hands found a older guitar, his fingers softly plucking the strings as he walked over finding the ivory keys of a smaller keyboard. Moving both hands to the keys, he admired the ivory white and black keys until he pressed on, and then another, surprisingly a beautiful, but sad soft melody escaping from the keys. Playing just a few stanza's of the melody from memory Finn turned around, leaning against the counter. "By no means a composer... but, a melody from my heart none the less."

Pushing off the counter surface, he stood in front of Chris, his breath mixing now with hers as he began to lift his shirt off and simply turned around. Scars littered the backside of his skin as the counters of his muscles and bones showed other wounds, punctures, stabs. Speaking, his eyes glassing over as he stared at a wall. "Never show weakness.... they would use it against you." Pausing for just a few moments, he continued. "I never had anything of value in my life growing up, the slavers that kept us weak and submissive made sure of that.... but in my heart, there was hope... they could never take that from me. As time passed, and I got older, I swore to myself, I would never let anyone see weakness from me, but then I found Cei, and he led me to you." He turned around as he stared at Chris. "I told you I was tortured in the Chiss Ascendancy... what I didn't tell you was they somehow managed to alter my memory engrams and induce lifelike hallucinations. I saw you, I watched you die Chris. The memory of our first meeting was so strong, so vivid, the love struck boy that I was, dreaming of the day I'd meet you again.. so... hopeful in my mind, they used it against me as they tortured me." His hand found her cheek as he softly stroked it, his hand moving down her shoulder to her hand as he squeezed it. " I made a new promise as I tried to grip to what I hoped was reality... that If I ever saw you again, I would tell you how much you meant to me and I would show you what you meant to me. You are the only one I will ever open up too. If anyone ever stole something from me, it is you, you have my heart... but that is all i have of value, unless I have your love and I promise, I will cherish it and defend it with my whole being." He stared dead at her as he waited for some sort of response. He knew it was strong, it was like dropping a lead weight on a glass vase, but Finn wasn't going to wait any longer, he had to tell her.

Pleck seemed to listen carefully to what Chris said, before continuing to explore and sniff on the newcomer, trying to decide what he thought about him. It didn't take long after Finn had scratched Pleck behind the ear and on the side, before the canine gave a soft bark of approval and looked between the two humans.

''He likes you. There's no doubt about it. I'm impressed! He doesn't use to grow fond of strangers that quickly!'' Chris said with a bright smile, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed over her chest. It was a good sign. Now she had got confirmation that all three of them would go along just nicely, if Finn would travel with them on some occasion, that was.

''It's beautiful, Finn... I didn't knew you could play instruments?'' she said softly after listening to the soothing but kind of sad tune the kiffar/echani man had honored her with. For a pirate, he had a certain amount of finesse that was indeed very attractive.

As Finn approached Chris and proceeded to take his shirt off, their interaction caught Pleck's curiousness. Chris looked assuringly on canine partner.

''It's okay, Pleck. Would you give us a minute, hun?'' she said as the canine snorted slightly, but ultimately made his way back to his bed located in the cockpit.

Christine glanced upon the scarred body of Finn. A moment of silence fell upon them. Among a great many things, this was one of the things she had sworn to fight. Chris stayed silent as Finn begun to tell her his story, one of tragedy.

''But I'm not dead, Finn... And a lot of muscle will be needed to bring down this Judge. Trust me.'' she said in an attempt to reassure the handsome pirate in front of her. Christine's green eyes met deeply the vibrant emerald ones of Finn as he spoke about her, about them. She felt herself flattered by his kind words that seemed to come nowhere but from his heart. She pulled a golden strand of hair from her face before she spoke.

''Wow... Well... You aren't the smoothest guy around to hide your feelings, Finn...'' Chris dropped with an amused smile. ''And I'm very flattered from the very moment I realised that you cherished my company. I really am. I guess you understand that I won't become a pirate for you... However...'' she continued and pushed herself from the wall, walking up to the tall man in front of her. ''I'll be honored to help you into something better, with me at your side... both professionally... and emotionally. I do like you, Finn... Pretty fething much.'' she added and searched his eyes, a soft smile dancing on her lips.

“I know you’re not dead Chris — just like i know you’re not some damsel in distress who needs me to protect her, maybe I need you to protect me, feth knows I do stupid things when I’m alone —“ He grinned at her as their eyes met. Often as a small child, he would see a happily married couple — and envy that idyllic life and sacred bond they seemed to share — he’d often wonder what a great love like that would be like and when he had laid eyes on her, feth, he’d known immediately — there was no one else for him under the known universe, he had to have her in a bad way and; that she was his great love. She was one of a kind, she brought a life, a rhythm that woke something up within him.

“I think — anything that makes you think less of me, and if changing what I do means being by your side — is worth it.” Once again, like magnets, they stood together. Her scent and his mixing, his hand coming up and tracing along the length of her arm. Once again, a smirk formed across his face as he spoke. “ So — where do we go from here? I mean, you’re obviously the good influence… and clearly I’m the corrupt pirate, out to steal and plunder — but, you know… we are both consenting adults here.” He let out a chuckle, his eyes looking over towards her room as they came back to meet with hers, worth a shot he figured as he waited for an answer, but, he was curious. He layed everything out in the open, he felt this was the start of a new beginning, but… he also knew it was her decision.

''Well, you haven't done anything stupid to me... yet...?'' Chris replied, wearing a soft and sly smile. Finn had been about to do something... a little rash at the club, but Chris had taken absolutely no offence by it. She could read him very well, thanks to him opening up to her, and they had known each other for a while now. Chris knew of Finn's feelings towards her, and were indeed flattered by them. She could also see that he sought something else than the life he had been living up until now. The feelings were definitely mutual. Question was if they had reached the point to actually go through with it. Chris thought about it long and well while her gaze rested upon the man in front of her. As if Finn had read her mind, he put words on the question they both had.

“ So — where do we go from here? I mean, you’re obviously the good influence… and clearly I’m the corrupt pirate, out to steal and plunder — but, you know… we are both consenting adults here.”

Chris couldn't help herself, her musically talented voice rang out in a light laugh of amusement. A sweet and bright smile danced upon her lips as their green gazes met yet again. She was amused by the fact that a pirate and a man like Finn, who had seen many of the galaxys bad sides and experienced the terrible things that he had told her, could dwell on such unyielding love and devotion. She liked that side of him - no, she loved that side of him. Tall and imposing, yet kind and sweet.

''Try to steal and plunder from me, Finn - and I promise you'll regret it!'' she stated half seriously half jokingly, obviously pulling his leg and willingly nibbled at the bait, so to speak. She leaned back against a counter and crossed her arms across the chest, raising her chin and looked upon him with a slightly more serious face. ''Hmm... I don't know, Finn? Do you?'' she frowned, but before Finn might have taken her posture and face the wrong way, a slight smile crept back upon her lips, ever so slightly. She pushed herself away from the counter with her backside, and leaned closer to Finn. ''I'm... pretty sure this is the moment where the boy kisses the girl, if you get what I mean...? Now you have my approval...'' she whispered by his ear.

He listened to Chris as she spoke, watching the signs her body language gave off — the electricity that seemed to flow in the room gave off a tension, a longing between the two — a deep, and unfiltered desire. As she poked and prodded at Finn, he couldn’t help but to throw a grin her direction as he moved a few strands of hair that’d moved in his face. Locking eyes, and watching her slowly, purposefully, and flirtatiously move her way across the room up to him, their breathe mingling as she softly spoke —he felt what self control he had beginning to slip — but that wasn’t what set him off, no — her playful whisper of approval in his ear, the willingness in her voice — he could no longer resist. Scooping Chris up as if she were nothing but a feather and allowing her to wrap her legs around him, he kissed her with a fervor that had yet to be satisfied, his strong grip holding onto her, he proceeded to walk by feeling alone to her bedroom where the door shut behind the two of them.

The night would come to an end and come to its climax, both parties satiated and resting on the bed in slumber. Finn stirred in his sleep, his dreams despite the good evening he’d just had refused to give him any rest. Slowly, he opened his eyes in the dimly lit room, peering over at the time — it was close to sunrise. Looking now and admiring Christine’s resting form, the sheets that covered both their bare bodies rising and falling to the rhythm of her breathing. How many nights would he get to have like this? How many days could he claim and call her his? He knew one thing for certain, he didn’t want to ever leave her side. He had once heard a word in his travels, but it eluded his memory — the jist he remembered meant ‘shared heart’. They complemented one another, and like magnet’s they pulled and attracted the one to the other — but when it came to shared, his heart was all hers and he’d hoped vice versa. Resting his head down and nestling on his side, he just simply laid next to her, arm around her, holding as he savored the moment for what it was… Joy… something people sought and sought for their whole lives but never find.

Chris stirred from her sleep, moaning softly as she turned around towards the arm that wrapped around her and instantly knowing to whom it belong. Finn, that scruffy-looking nerfherder who had taken her by storm the last night. Knowing that made an ever so soft smile appear on her lips. She wasn't the least concerned about having the former pirate by her side in The Star Riff, but she would admit that it had been some time since she had spent the night with another person in the captain's quarter, and it felt both exciting and strange at the same time. Chris herself was a trained OPA Judge, and even though their bodies touched now, Pleck would wake her up and alert her if something was off and the cute guy tried something stupid. Also, it felt like they had laid out their respective standpoints in the most important matters, before they ended up here.

''Hi... handsome... Thanks for tonight...'' Chris uttered sleepily, and dug her fingers into the thick silver-colored tuft of hair before she pulled herself closer and gave him a gentle kiss good morning. Half-open green eyes met his vibrant emerald ones. Waking up by that face and person wasn't such a bad feeling, after all. It was a long time ago since Chris had someone to call boyfriend, and she quietly pondered about if she would dare to hope to call him her that, in front of her friends. She looked into his vibrant emerald eyes and studied his facial details with her hand caressing his chin.

''Oh, boy... What would your former bosses say, now that you have slept with a Judge, Finn?'' she asked, half teasingly but there was also a hint of worry in her voice, and crept closer to the man whos presence she cherished to much. ''I really hope I didn't make you more of a target than you already are for some...'' she added, giving him one more kiss to cement what she thought about him. Suddenly, Chris felt a small wet nose sticking in under her elbow - there was a hungry Vulptex in the room. Chris chuckled and pulled herself up a bit, aching her back and pulled a few blonde strands of hair from her forehead. ''Yeah, yeah, Pleck... When have I ever forgot about your breakfast? Hm?'' she asked and looked down at her canine companion demanding her to quit be cuddle with the other human and instead provide that breakfast that made the canine lick his snout. Chris laughed lightly, realising that they would not be left alone until she had done just that, got up from the bed and put on a pair of black panties and headed out to the galley with Pleck taking the lead.

After a short while, the door to the captain's quarters opened again and Chris returned, sitting down beside Finn and leaned over him with one hand on each side of him. ''So, pirate... or shall I say deputy? What's on the agenda for today?'' she aksed with a teasing smirk.

Finn sat next to Chris in the bed as he stared at her -- indeed he thought, what was next? Chris was the only person he'd let this close in a long time, feth, maybe even ever and he was faced with a choice. Change everything about his life to keep this one truly good thing in it -- or roll the dice as he'd always done and see where they lie. He nodded his head and grunted as his hand came to hers and moved along the lines of her hand, his eyes studying everything he could about her body, the perfection that it was... he wasn't leaving anything up to chance when it came to her. If life with her meant giving up things of questionable nature, it wasn't a sacrifice, it was a benefit -- for he'd obtained something even better in return, a priceless treasure worth more than anything in the entire quadrant. "What now?... well -- now I guess it's time for you to make an honest man outta me -- can't say I'll make the most friendly of all deputies -- but Feth woman -- where you go, as long as you never get tired of me... I'll be right by your side."

Finn leaned forwards, his head leaning onto her thigh as he gave a small peck on her bare skin. What did it mean to be a judge -- what did it mean to be a deputy. In his line of work, even as a pirate Finn never once crossed, harmed or did anything to anyone that hadn't deserved it -- anytime he saw someone in need that had nothing or was lesser than him -- he would help -- so maybe, maybe doing what Chris did was something Finn could do -- maybe for once in his life, he could have that 'idealistic' life that had always been a 'what if' in his mind. "I'm thinking -- if our schedule is going to be otherwise.... booked up catching the bad guys -- we should probably rest as much as possible... wouldn't you say?" A ornery smile formed across his lips as his eyes once again met with hers. "Anything you want to do today -- I'm in, again -- as long as its with you."

Heavy riffs and a mugful of caf, and we're good.
Chris' green orbs rested looking into the vibrant emerald ones of the former space pirate in front of her, and her eyes didn't want to be looking at anything else but him right now. Finley's presence was... pleasant, to say the least. Unexpectingly pleasant, as she could not for a million light-years believe that she'd eventually hook up with the even then sweet talking but shy and nervous boy from Binaros. For a space pirate, he certainly had a smooth way of enthralling women. He felt like the guy who once took a bad step in life, ended up with the wrong people, but was now back on the track he was meant to be walking. It was what he had described on Binaros, being looked down upon by Jedi and Judges alike and ending up on the bad guys side. Chris couldn't have that. Not this sweet and cute Echani/Kiffar with a heart of gold if you dug deep enough.

"What now?... well -- now I guess it's time for you to make an honest man outta me -- can't say I'll make the most friendly of all deputies -- but Feth woman -- where you go, as long as you never get tired of me... I'll be right by your side."

Oh, Chris intended to teach him everything she knew about the work of a Judge, alright. Only time would tell if they would have a good cop and bad cop-situation. So be it, Chris thought. She liked the guy far to much to say no to the premise having him by her side, and besides, she were pretty certain that she could keep him from walking way off the path of a Judge. ''Are you gonna be my little vigilante, Finn? Is that what you're saying? That I'll need to hold you in a leash?'' Chris teased the gorgeous guy laying there in front of her, still in his underwear under the blankets all while she caressed his muscular chest and sides.

''Rest? We've just slept-! Well, not the entire night... buuut, we've still got enough hours of sleep!'' She leaned down towards his face, taking in his natural scent, digging into his silvery gray tuft with her fingers and gently planted a passionate kiss on his lips, nibbling at them slightly. ''Well... we're not on an assignment right now, so... What's the hurry?'' Chris whispered in Finn's ear, before straightening up again, tossing a strand of blonde hair out of her face while smirking down upon him. ''You... You wanna know a secret, Finn...? Dank farrik, I think I love you...'' Chris stated, not for a moment taking her green eyes off the man in front of her.

His eyebrow raised up slightly as his lips parted to speak. "A leash huh? Didn't know you went for that sort of thing..." His lips curled in a self-assured cocky grin as he chided back at her.

Grinning at Chris -- he couldn't help but to chuckle at her as she spoke. Sleep wasn't exactly what he'd had in mind when he was referring to more rest -- he'd only just had a brief moment in the grand aspect of time to familiarize himself with her perfect body and he was still learning everything there was to know about it, to know about her. Lost in thought, intoxicated by her mere presence her lips pressed and met with his, her sweet scent filling his senses, her teeth nibbling just ever so slightly at his bottom lip which only further caused to draw him closer to her. But as she continued to spoke, the next words caught him completely off guard -- exposing like a live wire.

''You... You wanna know a secret, Finn...? Dank farrik, I think I love you...'' Chris stated, not for a moment taking her green eyes off the man in front of her.

His head buzzed, frozen in place and time felt it stood still as sheer surprise overtook his whole face, his breath hitched as his heart dropped into his stomach, thudding heavily in his chest. Those three words which are said too much, but yet never enough -- words he'd never thought in a million years he would get the sheer privilege to hear roll off of her lips... and yet there they were. Willing his body, he shifted his body swiftly, sliding her leg over and gently pinned her back against the bed, his body pressed firmly against and straddling hers, his eyes intently locked with her eyes, their faces mere inches apart. "I love you too." There was no thinking about the words as they rolled off his tongue -- they came quick, effectively and without pause because that was what he felt -- she had captivated him from the beginning. Bridging the gap between their lips now Finn kissed her, with a fervor that had yet to be experienced and when he broke contact with her lips, his breath uneven -- a chuckle which emanated from the deepest parts of his belly would be heard, his hand softly stroking the side of her cheek, following down to her neck line as he studied every line, every curve. "I've loved you since I first saw you on that beach... My heart longed for you since the first time I had to say goodbye then too. I will always work to earn your love, to cherish all of you -- and I will love you until I draw my final breath, because Christine, you are the half that is missing from me, and without you I am an incomplete man." He could admire her all day, all week, all month, all year and he'd never once dare to grow tired of the privilege he now had -- she was his, and he was hers. Looking back into her eyes he spoke softly once more. "Eventually I know we'll have to leave this room, but if I could stop time just for a minute, it would be now, in this moment with you... Christine."

Heavy riffs and a mugful of caf, and we're good.

Christine smiled widely and looked up the ceiling as she chuckled lightly, while digging her fingers through Finn's silvery tuft. So far, everything had fallen into place between them. Christine knew of his background and former work, but Finn was also very well aware that if they were to go the distance, Christine could not be the one who left her profession and turned bad. Finn was worthy to much more than a bunk bed aboard a pirate ship, working for and being used for next to no credits in return. No. A soul astray, and a fething gorgeous one both inside and outside at that, was not to be thrown away that lightly.

''Mhmm, hahah... You wouldn't know half of it, my gorgeous Finn...!'' she teased as her green eyes fell upon him yet again, wearing a satisfied smirk. ''I guess there are areas for you yet to explore... pirate...!'' she added and threw him a playful wink.

Christine."

After finishing their kiss, Chris licked her lips like she had tasted some expensive vintage brandy, purely enjoying the company of the former space pirate that had given her full access to his heart. After this night, she had given him the same and their blooming relationship was a fact. The way he talked felt pure and honest, and actually got the seasoned Judge and artist to blush somewhat, her unvarnished face giving it away if you looked closely. After these years, she'd finally met a guy felt truehearted and serious about what he wanted.

''I mean, that boy I met on Binaros... He's certainly grown on me, quite a lot... Never thought I'd hook up with a pirate... but you're not one of the bad guys, Finn... You're so much more, at least to me you are...'' Christine explained as she gently studied the man sharing her bed sheets, and Force willing, he would this night, and the next to. This was the beginning of a new chapter for them both, and a major one at that. Chris silently wondered what would happen when Finn's former comrades knew that he wasn't coming back, but felt confident that they would have a hard time at tracking him down to the ''Star Riff''. Chris would have to grow accustomed to someone travelling with her, but that was of minor concern, as she reminded herself of what day it was.

''That pirate poetry is so cute, Finn... I would stay in bed all day with you, sweetheart... but... today's training day, and whenever you're ready... you're welcome to join me... No matter how cute and sweet talking you are, the profession demands that I stay on top...'' she explained, leaning in to steal another kiss from the pirate who just had stolen her heart. ''I got the breakfast ready out in the galley... Shall we...?'' she added, and nodded towards the door, before the got up and put on a black tank top to hopefully treat herself with some caf and pancakes soon, along with her... guy? That was still wierd to think of, but it felt so right and Pleck had given his approval also. So, here they were.

Finley sat up in the bed, relishing in the attention that she gave him, the kisses that she seemed so fond to steal away from him as he simply smiled at her, his emerald eyes following her every moment with a smoldering intensity that could only be matched by her own.

She spoke about how Finn was not one of the bad guys, but rather a good one -- deep down, he hoped that to be the case. He never once crossed the line he felt was one that tipped him over the edge, but -- had he been known to be cold and ruthless? Yes, and that was the simple truth. He would change his ways, change his life, feth -- change everything, but deep down, there would still be the blemish that was his past, but somehow knowing she was for him -- knowing she was with him, made the transition easier.

Standing up with her, the sheet would slide off his body, once again showing his bare and muscular form, he would come over and kiss her once again, his hands sliding down towards her backside as he held her close. Finn moving out the room with her, at this point having no modesty, well -- truth be told, flaunting himself before her as he crossed the ship towards the gally. Grabbing his black pants, he slipped them on once he came to the living area, now standing facing out to the view window, the itch to light up and smoke creeping up his backside, his head shaking slightly as he gripped his fist -- this part may be the worst he thought, take away the smuggling, take away some of the rough environments -- but his drug of choice? That part he wasn't overly fond of, a light "tck" coming out his mouth -- eventually he would, knowing he'd face the disapproval from her, but, baby steps.

Turning around, he reached for the cup of black coffee that had been poured from him, the cup steaming as he lifted it up towards his mouth and took a drink -- the fog that surrounded his head screaming at him from the liquor as well the night prior. Scratching at his neck, his upper torso still bear, he peered over towards a mirror that he noticed and realized a light lip mark that adorned his lower neck, near his collar bone. A coy smirk forming upon his lips, he took another sip of the black coffee and spoke. "Looks like I got my deputies badge last night -- I think I aught to add this one as a trophy of honor and get it permanently tattooed there." Granted, he spoke this with comedical candor, there was zero indication he was joking. "So -- what's on the agenda for today boss?" His self-absorbed, yet cute smile adorning his face, his hand coming up and brushing the ivory strands of hair that fell in his field of vision.

Pleck followed them out to the galley and seemed suprisingly content with the new passenger aboard The Star Riff. He ate the rest of his breakfast and actually took a detour past Finn, brushing his fur against his legs, before heading to his bed in the galley. ''Wow...! Never seen him doing that before! Talk about doing an impression over night...! You ain't abanndoning me, are you, Pleck?'' Chris chuckled and walked over to Finn glancing at the black void of space through the viewport. She wrapped a gentle arm around his waist and pulled up tight behind him, while sipping on her caf. Stars, the drink of life! It gave her so much inspiration and thoughts that she almost considered to dedicate the afternoon to her music making.

Chris smirked sweetly at him, giving him another kiss just next to the lip mark on his neck. ''Mhmm, maybe you'll risk getting another one tonight... At this pace, you'll outrank me in no time...'' she said, wearing a steady and soft smirk on her lips. Christine leaned forward and around the guy, to watch his facial expression closer. ''Oh, my... It doesn't look like you're joking, Finn...?'' she asked curiously. ''I guess piracy doesn't leave much room for humor...?'' she acknowledged and stroked him on his muscular chest and stomach. ''I tend to not joke around with my captives, maybe once of twice... It's pretty fun to pull their legs a little bit... but it seems like we're knowing who's going to be the good cop and the bad cop...!'' she commented, while raising a hand to pull a strand of his silvery tuft out of his face, stroking his cheek next.

"So -- what's on the agenda for today boss?"

''Sparring, of course!'' Chris said, being thruthfull to her training schedule. She had worked up a combo of physical exercises, music making and lyric writing since many years, and was actually very excited to see where in this schedule Finn would find himself. It was not like she forced him to do anything, but the life of a pirate was quite different than the life of a Judge, she imagined. But firstly, she let go of the hunk in front of her and went over to make him a plate of pancakes with syrup and berries from recently visited planets. She threw a glance at him, offering him the plate and raised an eyebrow with a sweet smile. ''I would like to think my pancakes are awesome, but you're very much welcome to be the judge of that... deputy.'' Chris added with a wink. ''You'll need the energy to learn how a Judge fight!''
