|| STRENGTHS ||
[ + ] Strong: Like many of his kind, Chalbacca is granted the same arm-ripping strength that is so infamously known among the Wookiees.
[ + ] Honor Bound: As both a Wookiee and Jedi, Chalbacca is someone who takes his word seriously. He is wholly driven to the cause of the Light Side and moral righteousness.
[ + ] Climber: Additionally to his great strength, Chalbacca is equipped with retractable claws that make him an excellent climber. However, he takes his claws seriously, as Wookiee culture has taboo against using one’s claws in anger.
|| WEAKNESSES ||
[ - ] Lost in Translation: The unfortunate part about being a Wookiee is that he is incapable of speech beyond his native Shyriiwook language. So, unless having a translator or a companion capable of understanding his language, he is without the ability to communicate efficiently.
[ - ] Beast in The Shadows: Wookiees are not only known for their great strength and honor, but also their tendency toward anger and rage. It is an aspect that Chalbacca has to keep under control as a Force-User. Any strong feelings of anger opens him up to the influence of the Dark Side.
[ - ] : In his youth, Nakhash had one of his eyes blinded. While he has trained to cope with this, his line of vision is not nearly as good as someone with two functional eyes.
|| PERSONALITY ||
Chalbacca is like most wookiees. He can be very jovial and friendly towards most people who do not present themselves as malicious. He has a strong sense of justice and righteousness, believing in the ideals of the original Jedi Order. He has a struggle with keeping his anger at bay, but seems to be mostly centered enough to eschew it. He is also very protective of those he considers his friends.
|| BIOGRAPHY ||
To have a Wookiee born with a connection the Force is a rarity in the galaxy. Thus, it was a surprise when young Chalbacca was levitating his toys when only a few years old. His clan came together, deliberating on what his fate should be. It was decreed by the clan elders that the youngling would be given off to the Jedi Order present at the child’s youth. He was put into the care of an old Sephi Jedi Master who had prior relations with the Wookiees. For decades, the youngling grew both physically and spiritual under the Sephi. It came to pass that Chalbacca was knighted into the Jedi Order.
For years, he has served the order as a mentor and as a warrior. In his lifetime, two different bastions of democracy and freedom have fallen to the hordes of the Dark Side. He also had grown tired of the Jedi who were the bigger face of their faith, the Silvers. He disagreed with many of their practices. He has since wandered the galaxy, offering his aid where needed. As of the moment, he acts in some capacity in the Liberation Army’s efforts to clean up the portion of the galaxy once enthralled to the First Order. In the meantime, he is also open to finding a student to which he can pass his knowledge onto, as the old Sephi once did with him.
