STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
+ Acrobatic: As a Chimpanzee, Ceran is great at climbing, swinging and most acrobatic manoeuvres.
+ Intelligent: The experiments done on his brain have not only evolved his brain to that of a human's, but possibly made him even smarter than one.
- Mute: Since he is just a Chimpanzee, Ceran can not speak any languages, except for the Ape noises that could be classed as a 'language'. Instead, he relies on sign language to communicate.
- Grudge: Ceran holds a grudge against the people who experimented on him, as they took him away from his home and family. Since then, he has despised all scientists.
APPEARANCE:
Ceran looks like the average chimpanzee, with black hair covering everywhere except his face, ears, hands and feet. He has a less-protruding face compared to other apes, but everything else about him is what you would expect. As a result of the experimentation, he oddly gained Green flecks of colour in his eyes.
BIOGRAPHY:
When Ceran was young, he was a normal, forest-dwelling ape in the forests of Naboo. He was of the same intelligence as every other chimpanzee of his kind, enjoying his simple life. Until he was taken by scientists, visiting the planet to take live subjects for testing a new drug. Nearly a decade later, he became a breakthrough in the scientists work. He didn't know where he was in the galaxy, but he lived the rest of his life in test chambers aboard a giant cruiser. The drug they tested on him allowed his brain cells to repair, and even multiply to the point where he could have easily outsmarted the scientists. It seemed he was to be thrown out with the garbage once they started testing on humans, but instead it became his salvation.
The drug was lethal to humans, and it wasn't long before the crew were wiped out. Among the chaos, Ceran used his intelligence to break out and find the escape pods, crashing onto the nearest planet. Luck seemed to be in his favour, as he was found by a family of space traders and taken to Coruscant. There, he was questioned about the location of the ship, and the lethal drug, but it turned out the ship became lost in space, and no other survivors were found; Ape or Human. His case was of course an odd one, but he was released without any further questions and moved in with a working-class family, getting a job as a waiter in a nearby restaurant.
A year passed on Coruscant, and Ceran longed for more than waiting. His only way of communicating was sign language, and so he was limited as to who he could talk to about his feelings. Despair, started to take hold of the Ape, but he hadn't given up yet...
