Jon was born and raised amongst his brothers, and displayed clear signs of the qualities needed for leadership but his reckless actions and arrogant attitude put a stop to him progressing further as a leader. But, when the right man is in charge and his fellow brothers lives are on the line. There is nothing stopping this reckless soldier from blowing up a star destroyed to save two clones.
