Born in 844 ABY, Ca’tra was a young child when Ra Vizsla’s Force purges ripped Mandalorian clans apart. She watched friends betray friends, families torn apart, and her brother die for being able to touch the Force. What followed were years of chaos and strife as Mandalorian leadership followed a path of reckless aggression. Her family fled Kyrimorut, their ancestral home, and managed to escape the Sith genocide and occupation of Mandalore.
Clan leadership of Skirata fared no better through the years as decisions were made, changed, and challenged. The clan fractured and spread, reforming rarely during times of stable leadership. During these tumultuous times, Ca’tra passed her verd’goten and honed her skills as a beskar smith, learning the trade from her father.
Around 877 ABY, the clan alor perished. The survivors of Clan Skirata gathered for their elders to select a new alor. Ca’tra had since become a capable commander, guiding the warriors under her command and her own family as an iron-willed matriarch. It was then that the elders appointed her the alor. She has since governed the clan with the same will and maternal care.
When the planeshift happened in 902 ABY, Ca’tra organized a search for the clan members missing or lost. When House Verd came and claimed the mantle of Mand’alor, she backed Aether and challenged those of her clan who disagreed. She faced challengers for two weeks and did not lose. Few vocally dissented after.
Ca’tra now leads Clan Skirata in what she hopes to be a direction of growth and unification, encouraging the adoption of oustiders, misfits, and Force-Users.
