  • Media Name: Cards Against the Confederacy
  • Format: Card Game
  • Distribution:
Inter-Planetary - Cards Against the Confederacy can mostly be found within CIS space, though a few packs have been spotted outside of it as well.

[*]Length: Anywhere between Short and Epic as the game lacks a definite "end situation", so people may play until they tire of it.
[*]Description: Cards Against the Confederacy is intended for a minimum of four players and up, all at appropriate age, as some of the cards may be slightly on the racy side. There are two sets of cards; black and white. Every round, someone reads the black card out, and the rest of the players select one of their white cards that they believe would best match the black one. The black card reader decrees which card won that round.

  • Event Name: Cards Against the Confederacy is revealed in-game for the first time.
  • Links: The Devil's Lair (every few posts on pages 1, 2, and 3).
  • Participants: Members of the Confederacy of Independent Systems who were aboard the SSD Fortressa.
  • Overview: Those among the Confederacy who were meant to go on-ground for the assault needed a way to pass time until that moment happened, as the opposition provided to be tougher than expected. To increase morale for the troops, Pathfinder Madalena Antares (actually Scherezade deWinter with a memory spell) invited all those who were interested to a game of Cards Against the Confederacy. Some joined with worry in their hearts, and others joined with glee, but it was soon known to all that this was a great games, and people laughed until their tummies hurt. Eventually, it was time to stop playing and go fighting, and so Exarch Srina Talon was asked to announce the winner, so she announced herself as the winner and asked for the game to be burned due to its excess of foul language and violent suggestions.

It is uncertain where the game format originated from. What is known, is that during the Confederacy's invasion of Copero, a Knight Obsidian Pathfinder by the name of Madalena Antares (who at the time was a personality designed by Scherezade deWinter to take her place. Long story. Irrelevant.) showed up with a pack of cards, ready to play. Many of the combatants aboard the SSD Fortressa joined in, and it helped relax and increase morale before the fight.

Slowly, bit by bit, more copies of the package began to pop around Confederacy space. Some could be found in stores, some could be found at random locations. It's uncertain just how many of these 'random copies' popped up, though numbers estimate at least several dozen sightings all over the Confederacy cloud.
