Plasma Based Shielding - Plasma being superheated ions are able to stop blasters and lightsabers from doing to much damage at all to the person using it.
Kinetics not work the firing - Given the magnetic fields and the heat of the plasma most slugs melt before they make it through the shield even if not they are generally trapped by the magnetic fields
Weaknesses:
Plasma doesn’t stop screaming - Although plasma based shielding is great for the mainstay weapons of warfare. It does nothing for a person in terms of protection from anything sonic based. From screams to sonic weapons the user is likely to be hurt more if they don’t have their own equipment to deal with this.
DESCRIPTION
Having managed to create a plasma condenser and shaper Mirdirmorut poured a significant amount more money into the scientist project as well as giving him any personnel he required to get more breakthroughs done. This was the first main one this group made. Making a portable shield that could be placed or carried as the mission required this would give the user better chances against blasters, kinetics and the lightsabre however did not even affect sonic damage which they seemed disappointed by wanting it to be able to do everything they needed.
However they remained undeterred and managed to finish the product on a mass scale something even Genesis Mirdirmorut's AI thought impossible given how the plasma worked shaped and moved. However they did manage to allowing many a guard of mirdirmorut to now be equipped with something perhaps even sturdier than a duracrete wall.
