The Inexhaustible

The end of the Third Imperial Civil War was near. Nearly a decade of stagnation and near-constant defeat had nearly brought the Empire to ruin, and saw three Emperors come and go. Peace had become an illusive idea, a dream that the men and women of the Sith-Imperial Armed Forces would never have. Peace between the New Imperial Order and Sith Empire had finally arrived, and not too late.

The galaxy was in crisis. The consequences of the destruction of his home-world had failed to be meet with equal force, and the displacement of millions of his fellow Chiss weighed heavily on the Grand Moff's mind. Peace had come- but at what cost?

He exhaled. The air was frigidly cold as was to be expected from a repeated cycle of recycling, with the dreadnought Archean preparing to launch on it's maiden journey. A foreboding frown broke through the aging lines of his pale blue face. Emotion threatened to drown him and, the stress of mainting the industrial capacity of Interviae Commissariat threatened to kill him far sooner.

"Send word to Grand Moff Decimus" He groaned to the assistant attending him. "Convene the Moffrence"

The young woman nodded, and scurried along, as she should have. There was much work to be done- and if the reports from Flurruun were to be believed, then they were running out of time.

Decimus's own flagship, the Vanquisher-class Battlecruiser "Malevolence", emerged from lightspeed not far from Thaelius's shiny new super star destroyer. It was escorted by a very large droid fleet comprised of Lucrehulks, Providences and Munificents. Clearly Decimus had been busy gathering some of his assets. The Archean was signalled to inform them that Decimus would be making his way over via Sheathipede-class shuttle. Sure enough, the shuttle emerged from one of Malevolence's many hangar bays, escorted by a squadron of Vulture Droids as it made the short journey over to the Archean's hangar bay.

As the shuttle made it's landing in the hangar, Decimus emerged from within, his long black cloak wrapped around his mechanical chassis as he strode through the Archean to meet with Thaelius in his office, escorted by a small squad of his fellow Carnifex-class Dark Troopers. His guards waited outside when he arrived to speak with Thaelius, politely nodding his head towards him before he spoke in that deep mechanical tone of voice. "Grand Moff Thaelius. It is good to finally get a chance to meet with you. As my calculated projections foretold, the Sith Empire is beginning to disintigrate. This situation with the hypergates has also further complicated matters."

"Likewise" His reply was cold and calculating, nearly identical to the Dark Troopers own. A white gloved hand gestured to the seat across from the Grand Moff's desk.

"The Hypergate situation is unfortunate. As is the victory of the New Imperial Order- although I suspected complete tactical disaster to occur far latter than it did." He stated matter of factly. "Our reserves must be activated immediatel"

"The priority status for the Agamar Sector must be rescinded and the forces there redeployed to the Hypergate world. A quarantine must take place as soon as possible"

He paused to lift a glass of brown liquid- presumably alcohol, to his pale blue lips. Signs of aging were apparent, cracks throughout his otherwise well oiled skin permeated everywhere. The stress of the Third Imperial Civil War, and the destruction of his homeworld threatened to consume him. "The galaxy no longer sees us as a threat- political retaliation for our once allies- all of them doing nothing more than expressing sympathy, have begun"

"With Isley Verd no longer in command of the Confederate might, we can expect little foreign assistance." He paused. "Considering how fast you arrived here, I assume you have a plan to combat this"

"The priority fleet is at your full disposal, Thaelius.", Decimus said before moving to take the offered seat, which creaked slightly due to the immense weight of his chassis. "I do not know what our Sith masters plan in terms of our future for certain, should the Sith Empire indeed be collapsing as I have calculated, but I have already activated my own contingencies. My entire droid navy and army are hard at work stripping my oversector of any valuable resources before time has run out. I have also commenced the evacuation of all my surplus storehouses contents to a specially prepared fleet of Lucrehulks. I wished to make a....proposal to you, as it were. I calculate the Sith will retreat into seclusion for a brief while, and I am not content to merely hide in and strike from the shadows."

"You and I both command vast fleets and resources. I propose, should this campaign with the Hypergates fail to reinvigorate the Empire as I have projected, we take our assets and relocate elsewhere to build a nation anew. With yours and my tactical expertise, and the droid armies I have at my command, securing neutral territory away from the bickering galactic powers for our own ends would not be a difficult task."

Out of the darkness, gleaming lights of a thousand candles lit the blackness of space with new light. To those that wandered too far, those lights could even mean a glimpse of hope, but to those that knew where they came from and were aware of its origins knew quite well what it meant; horror. The Arrogante’s cloaking device was momentarily shut down as they approached the Archean, as she leveled her gaze outside the window Lunafreya noticed as the three massive ships stood as colossal titans among the infinite of the stars. Three they were, Grand Moff’s by their own merit according to the Old Empire, but considering what was to went down that didn’t mean much these days. Thaelius of the Archean, Decimus of the Malevolence, and Lunafreya of the Arrogante, what was left of the Sith’s highest order of warmongering animals under the crushing thumb of the Emperor.

But that was not the case anymore, was it? The Sith lost. The humans won, Lunafreya would have been on their side had they remained true to their ideals on Bastion and not lowered themselves to betrayal and petty lies. The one-eyed queen defeated the Empire on his Sith-Imperial Wars, burned the Empire to its last, used dirty tricks to tackle each of its members against the others, now they were divided into three sides; the Warlords of the Sith, a rebellious bunch of monkeys too dopped on spice, the Old Empire, or as she enjoyed calling it the
Dead Empire, and those of the Sith Eternal, ruled by the slug one. ‘Imbeciles, the lot of them.’, her mind immediately snapped, as her amber-black cape lined in golden on the insides fluttered on the corridors as she passed countless faces by. Not even once she turned her head to gaze upon them, and escorted by Gentiana and Silifant, Lunafreya Solidor entered the chamber where the others waited, pushing two of the guards on the doors to the side, snarling at them as they withered before her presence.
“Out of my way, vermin!”, passing them by and already inside the chamber, the female barely moved her head to gaze upon those two. One was an android, and the heavens knew how she felt on them, the other was worst, a Chiss. “Ain’t that a sight for the sore eye.”, her lips muttered at her avian escort, as he noticed the bar behind the table, gesturing with his long head towards Gentiana, who politely bowed before the others and went on to prepare some drinks.

"Perfect. If we die, we die in glory"

An archane smile formed at the edges of the Chiss' lips as he handed a datapad containing his written orders to the Ensgin attending him, and Decimus. "Neither am I"

"Open warfare against the New Imperial Order will be improbable, though not impossible once we regain our power." He pasued, activting a holo-map. "It would seem as though we are not alone in the journey of...death"

"I suspect the military industrial complexes of the Warlords of the Sith and Sith Eternal to collapse within weeks. The heresy is over. For the time being, we serve no Dark Lord. As far as I am concerned, we serve our own best interests"

He frowned as Lunafreya Solidor Lunafreya Solidor entered. The Elezari was obviously a Sith, though not in the conventional sense. Unlike both Decimus and himself, Solidor has spent the majority of her Moffship in search of personal wealth and power. Perhaps though, she did serve the Empire faithfully. "Am I?"

"
Before we go further, I recommend preparing for the evacuation of your military assets"

Decimus noticed Lunafreya's sudden arrival, eyeing her curiously with his mechanical gaze before turning to nod at Thaelius. "Preparations have already been made. My entire military will rendezvous at these secret coordinates near Mustafar when the inevitable collapse of the Sith Empire transpires.", he said, removing a data chip from a compartment on his chassis before handing it to Thaelius. "I advise you and Lady Solidor join me with your own forces there. Mustafar has a great amount of industry that would be useful as a staging ground for our future goals. A suitable replacement for the production capabilities of Agamar."

Decimus then turned to peer at Lunafreya once more. "Your presence here is a surprise, Lady Solidor, but a welcome one. We three stand as the true remaining power within the Sith Empire. If it dies as predicted, we shall not die along with it."

Lunafreya barely cared about moving a muscle as both Grand Moffs spoke with her. Slowly she grabbed the glass filled with ambrostine brought by her servant, sipping a little sup of its content before deciding which tone to use when speaking with those two.
“Only if it were that simple...”, her lips frowned for a moment before deciding to take a tone much more majestic than the one she used before.
“I bring news from the Empire. Half the Dark Council has fled, the other half piously nods their heads towards the mumblings of the child that sits on the throne, but pay them no mind, my spies have provided with some insight on the matter... the Pretender has declared her intentions of making one final stand against the New Imperial Order.”, a moment was given at them to digest the information spoken by her lips. Although they probably knew already, either by their own spies or by simple probabilities based on behavioral patterns. “They will die gloriously the fools... the Empire is lost, the Zambranos are ruined. We, on the other hand, are not.”

“Through all matters and accounts, it is as your lordship said...
we are the Sith Empire... So should we effectively enforce it so, as our duties call by holding this Moffdom... And in order to do it so I believe it is the time to take whatever is in our reach to pillage, loot, burn, rape, murder, enslave, imprison, sack so we can assist in its imperial preservation by returning to our hiding grounds. Using the codes within Decimus’s possession we should be able to wire trillions of credits from the Empire’s accounts, while Thaelius’s vessels take hold of a third of their remaining fleet to fill up our own ranks... Unfortunately, I will not join you in exile on Mustafar as I will return to my own land, I do not expect to return before this decade is over.”, for them that could seem like a long time, but to her own kind, this was but a long sigh in exile to rest and mend up her own wounds. Power needed to be consolidated, this was her hour.
“But things change... as for you, Moff Thaelius, Weeks you may say, my lord, however... My own predictions suggest years to come before our enemies are finally put to rest. The Eternals and the Warlords will squabble for the leftovers, while the Ashlan Crusade burns its way through the stars ready to pose a threat against the New Imperial Regime. Let the fools fight, we can afford to wait in darkness, yes?, raising her glass, Lunafreya declared in a calm tone. “As of today, we are... the Triad.”

There was little emotion on the Chss' pale blue face as Solidor addressed the now central governing authority of the Sith Empire.

"Three years?" His concerns were rooted in suspicion. He was well aware of the long lifespan of the Elezari people, and while for him three years was more than enough him and his allies to make significant gains in rebuilding some form of Sith-Imperial society. "Very well"

"The Worm has been oddly silent since his encounter with the Voice of the Maw on Mustafar. I doubt the Sith Eternal could surrivive without thier saviour, thier god. Assuming he is dead whatever leadership they have left is in the hands of the Graug- and we all know how that turned out for the last Empire Vulcancus ruled"

"I do support your intentions though, Lady Solidor. We should be able to seize a significant portion of the fleet and army from the unworthy perhaps even total control of whatever is left of the Treasury"

He paused, raising his alcoholic beverage to his lips once more. "In fact, I suggest we simply take matters into our own hands and issue an edict redirecting the treasures from the Grand Treasures control and to ours"

"We should also strip the High Command of their authority- lest they devolve into cynical warlords"

"I concur with Thaelius. While I do not control the Sith Imperial wealth directly, our combined influence would be enough to bend the Minister of Finance to agree to our demands given the fact the Sith Empire is beyond recovery at this present stage. The fleet however, I am sure will go much more smoothly. Whoever survives the matter with the hypergates will lack leadership and direction, that which you can provide them, Thaelius. And I respect your wish to lay low for now, Lady Solidor. I and Thaelius, however, are less built for the shadows. Our move to Mustafar will give us plenty of space to grow swiftly, and the relatively closeness of the First Order should give us a viable potential early partner. They are quite busy with the Eternal Empire presently, after all."

A lone OOM-series Command Droid entered the room to deliver a report to Decimus on a datapad. Decimus quickly studied it's contents, before nodding his mechanical head. "It seems we will need to accelerate our plans, my friends. Bar my own territories, I've just received reports of mass rioting and the collapse of authority throughout most of the Sith Imperial space. The garrisons are overwhelmed. We must gather the fleets here and commence the exodus with all due haste."
