The Littlest Space Pirate
- Cafe Mazone -
bar_by_astrokevin.jpg

Classification - Tapcafe.
Location - Shanpan Spaceport warehouse district, on the planet Manpha.
Affiliation - Empire of the Line.
Description -
Cafe Mazone occupies a partition along the outer wall of a cavernous warehouse. The cafe structure contains two rooms; the main room, with bar and tables, and an omnisex refresher at the back.
The interior is dimly lit, with only a few narrow skylights and dirty mirrors to admit natural light. Walls, ceiling and floor are bare duracrete, with exposed power cables running along the former two. The bar runs along one wall, and has a small, albeit surprisingly fine apparent selection of drinks on hand; it is rumored, however, that with a secret password given to the bartender, nearly any drink one can think of can be ordered from a secret cellar located far below the main floor in the planet's bedrock, accessed by a dumbwaiter and a concealed turbolift behind the bar. The cellar is supposedly staffed and guarded by a copper-colored RO-D droid, RO-D-G3R, or "Rodger," who occasionally appears in the cafe to act as a bouncer.
The bartender is an ancient J9 worker drone, J4N-1N, affectionately dubbed "Janine" by regular patrons, who has been a fixture of the establishment longer than anyone can remember. She claims to be filling in for an organic colleague who is running late, though no-one has ever seen anyone else behind the bar.
Though the establishment has no traditional kitchen, food can be purchased from a credit-operated autochef near the entrance.
Above the bar is an aging vidscreen, nominally tuned to the HoloNet News, though reception is poor and the reports are often indecipherable through the interference.
In an alcove near the back is a statuette of the Goddess of the Pius Dea religion, though she has been decapitated at some point.
Finally, for decoration, there is a small, potted native tree by the door, a real one, though nobody is sure how it survives.
History - N/A.
Intent - To create a meeting place for the leadership of the fledgling Empire of the Line.
