• Recoil Dampener
 • Beam Focus Prism

Strengths:
 • An internal prism concentrates the disruptor beam, allowing for longer range than most disruptor weapons.
 • Disruptor beams are capable of tearing an organic being apart atom-by-atom, making them extremely powerful and dangerous.
 • Integrated recoil dampeners in the stock allow for more comfort (if used by an organic) and accuracy.

Weaknesses:
 • Because of the power and gas requirements of disruptor technology the weapon has a low ammo capacity and is more complicated than a standard blaster to reload.
 • Weapon has a slow rate-of-fire; it can only fire once every 3 seconds.
 • Disruptors are notoriously unstable. If the weapon takes damage it runs the risk of self destruction.
 • Since the rifle was design with droids in mind, many organic beings may find it to be hefty.

DESCRIPTION

With the success of the HK-series droids during the time of the Old Republic, Czerka Arms sought to improve their combat efficiency by developing improved equipment for the their use. Czerka's initial prototype -- the CA-HK Mk. I 'Assassin' Disruptor Rifle -- was underwhelming at best. It suffered from the technology's infamous short range and many non-disruptor alternatives existed on the market that an HK droid could be better suited with. After significant refinements the Mk. II prototypes were produced, offering the best range of any disruptor weapon in it's time, but at a staggering cost. Eventually, they would find their cost/quality balance with the finalized product: the Mk. III 'Liquidator' Disruptor Blaster.

Despite having been the pinnacle of disruptor technology thousands of years ago, the Liquidator is out of it's prime in the modern era. Although it is no longer the top-of-the-line choice for a disruptor rifle it has certainly stood the test of time, offering exceptional range along with de-atomizing stopping power. But due to technological advancements it no longer holds the monopoly on such a combination. Even still, the CA-HK 'Liquidator' Disruptor Rifle remains a viable and reputable choice in the galaxy.
