The 'Concordian Model 45' or simple C-45 was a model of revolving particle blaster pistol produced by the Black Hand Rifle Co. following the second liberation of Mandalore in the early 900s ABY period. It was designed to fill the needs of Mandalorian homesteaders and protectors alike on Concordia, which saw great resettling efforts led by Clan Vizsla which included construction of a new frontier colony and subsequent hunting of Imperial remnants all across the fortress moon.
With this in mind, the C-45 was designed with limited armor piercing capabilities in the form of low yield explosive Particle beam projectiles that could crack plastoid armor through the projectile's own force before melting the armor and searing flesh to the bone or worse through unstable plasmatic explosive blast. To combat the increased heat produced by this technology, the C-45 was outfitted with a thin dallorian alloy barrel and a gas cartridge housing cylinder that would automatically rotate between cartridges with each shot, increasing the longevity of all 6 cartridges(containing 100 shots of gas each) and decreasing the risk of cartridge meltdown.
Because these weapons also saw use in the Mandalorian equivalent of law enforcement, the C-45 also featured a stun setting activated via the fire selector switch. The switch was located to the rear of the gun where a typical slugthrower's "hammer" would be, and acted as a safety mechanism when pushed to the top position, selected Stun in the mid position, and was set the weapon to it's fully lethal particle payload when flipped to the lower position.
The C-45 would quickly see export beyond Mandalorian space as part of a larger attempt to revive the Concordian economy and would see use by gunslingers and militias alike against the undead during the waning days of the Caldera Crisis, in addition to sales across the outer rim.
