It were good the late evening.
They had accomplished quite a lot, even if it were just addressing and settling four of the many children that were in the same predicament.
The meal provided by Queen [member="Faith Organa"] at her palace sat just right and hadn't been too rich so as to make a night's rest difficult. They all needed rest, for as good a successful day it were, it had been long and arduous. So many emotions the two monarchs and marina had to hold back. But they had too, for they were the foundation to this stonework...to settle the affairs of these displaced Commenori children. And what they had come to agree on, came to fruit so far. at least with four of the affected children and families on both systems.
And there were more.
It were difficult to gauge, to set some standards and given projections for the next day and the following, as to how many they would be able to see and settle. Faith and [member="Kay Arenais"] weren't ones to rush or put any time limits. However long it took, it took when it came to the children.
As thus, when the teas drew some sleepy eyes and a yawn from Marina, it were time to call it an evening. And this evening one if not all three, would find sleeping the night quite restful, for their conscious and spirit knew they were on the right track.

The following morning and throughout the day, they were able to visit 6 more families and able to come to mutual heart warming conclusions. Somehow or other, children seemed to be resilient than adults whether the news were sad or happy. This was partly due to the fact that the children had been well cared for and loved by the foster families that embraced them. Fot those children whom had lost loved ones on Commenor, they now had loving families here on Alderaan.
For those lucky enough to hear of their parents and family doing well and wishing them home on Commenor, these children now had extended families, people who loved them across the galaxy.
Marina was learning much from her queen and friend Cessy. Although marina kept to Lady Kay for prosperity in the presence of her queen.
The three didn't much discuss what could be expected for the following day, as they took one day at a time and made it their priority to do their best.
Lunch this day were provided by one of the families and it were no different than having it in Aldera at the palace. It weren't lavish, but good wholesome lunch, like most lunches they had in this particular family. There weren't any special preparations per say, just because their queen were having lunch with them. then again, faith had insisted for a modest lunch, if she and her friends were to accept. and so, it were served and all were good.
same with the new evening...it were not at the palace, but in the last family of the day. It was well prepared and again not overly stuffed. The short trip back to end the evening was again a small tea and light evening snack before they all retired.

The following third day....
"Good morning, Cessy..." Marina had glanced about before addressing her friend as she knew her.
Again, she reserved herself when in the presence of her queen. Just that at this moment, Faith was waiting for them at a designated location before they would all once again see their first family of the day.
"If you don't mind me asking...you seem to have something else..something distant on your mind today." Marina was sincere, seeing that her friend Cessy had much on her mind.
But it weren't Marina to probe or even ask if what was troubling Cessy had something to do with the rumors that had been bouncing around the galactic networks. Marina was not one to judge and wouldn't as she knew most if not all of what the networks had circulating had not been sith propaganda...false news.
But she were a friend and knew that Cessy was a good soul inside. marina knew how difficult it were to have been queen. She saw that of her own queen, faith. So much responsibility were drawn on their shoulders and they had to always stand on their feet and be strong for those who were loosing faith under the tyranny of sith and their kind. It was a lot to bear to be queen. And although Cessy no longer was considered Queen of Commenor, she would always be in that good light to Marina.
"Is there anything I can do?...maybe lend you a friend's ear to help lift a bit of your weight off your shoulder?"
They had a few moments before they would go and meet Faith. Marina looked over to her friend and honestly wished she could help her with whatever burden Cessy carried on her mind.
