STANDARD FEATURES
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Planetary Defense: The Bulwark-class Orbital Defense Platform is the perfect deterrent against enemy skirmishers, boasting a defensive flotilla of twenty-seven starfighter squadrons, significant defense and offensive weaponry, and a host of cutting-edge internal systems such as gravity wells and advanced long-range scanners.
WEAKNESSES
  • Orbital Fixture: The Bulwark has no ion engines, and thus cannot move in-system once it has been deployed. The only way for a Bulwark to be moved is either by its hyperdrive, which is capable of long-distance movement albeit very slowly, or a fleet of tug-ships.
DESCRIPTION

With the uptick in pirate raids and rebel incursions, the Sith Empire found that it could not place a large flotilla at every world in its vast Imperium without draining resources from its various war fleets. There had been several iterations of orbital space stations in the past, but most of them were pre-existing local stations repurposed for Imperial use.

The Empire needed something homegrown.

So the Bulwark-class Orbital Defense Platform was designed and manufactured to defense important Imperial assets, with the ultimate goal to station a least one Bulwark in every system in the Empire. The first zone to acquire these powerful stations was the territory known as Imperial Space, which constituted the throneworld of Bastion and some of the Empire's most prosperous, most pro-Imperial, and most well-defended worlds in the entire Empire.

At least five of these stations were placed above Bastion alone, with the remaining stations distributed out to the other systems in terms of strategic importance, such as worlds with orbital shipyards and Sith academies.

Crystal Gravfield Traps
From the Starship Forum Rules:

Particularly rare or powerful special features may necessitate using a lower production (for example, cloaking technology, gemcutters, crystal gravtraps, equivalent stealth or anti stealth technologies, or rare canon technologies and their equivalents will only be permitted at Semi-Uniqueproduction)
Based on this, if you'll please change the production to semi-unique or omit the Crystal Gravfield Traps.

Affiliation: Department of Planetary Defense / Sith Armada
This will probably have to need to have a more limited affiliation based on the current factory rules. Something like "Planets in the Capital Hex", certain commanders or regions might work well for this.

Limited (Only one small group of characters. IE: Small task force, not entire factions.),

This looks like it covers much of SE space, rather than "one small group" of characters. I think that maybe the last sentence here in the sub can help us find that solution:

You can simply place "Bastion" in the affiliation for starters. Is there any way that we could be more specific about the "strategic importance" here? Something like shipyard worlds, Sith academies, etc?
