  • General Description: Small creatures, hindered by their disgust of the sun. They are incredibly fast, agile and terrifying. They can tear men apart, mowing down and cutting through armour and flesh with ease.
Strengths & Weaknesses:
  • Pack Animal: These creatures under the control of either a Shaman or Tathra himself usually move in packs of three hundred. An individual can control only one pack of Draeyde at a time, however exceptional beast masters can surpass them overtime.
  • Flying Piranha: The Draeyde are incredibly fast. They tear apart shield lacking humanoids and creatures in seconds, however have trouble with heavy armour.
  • Fear Inducing: The Draeyde tend to slit their packs into groups of fifteen when hunting, not too far apart from each other. When they sight their prey, they typically retreat and wail violently for the rest of the pack. In moments, they set upon their prey.
  • Hard Target: Due to their speed and size, Draeyde are typically very difficult to hit with single fire or conventional weaponry. However when in flight, they travel as a sort of tendril through the air with the rest of their pack. Which, often allows a shooter to anticipate their movements and kill some of them.
+Coated with Ink: For use by the Bryn'adûl these bats are coated with a sort of ink to allow them to maintain in direct sunlight for very short times.

  • Fickle Flesh: The Draeyde have incredibly frail skin. A single blaster round could cause one to explode.

Additionally, blasters and lightsabers both are plasma based weapons that create an area of light from their shooters position. Both of these weapons can be used as reliable deterrents.
  • Wall of Light: These creatures will die immediately if faced against a wall of light.
  • Terror of Flame: The Draeyde are also extremely susceptible to sources of heat, a few hundred of them could easily be killed with a single flame thrower.
  • Light alignment: The Draeyde have a strange abhorrence to those of a light alignment, and would avoid eating them unless feeling threatened. This is a double edged sword, they prefer darker aligned flesh.
  • Specific Requirements: To be used efficiently in combat, specific circumstances must be achieved, the 'Sun Quaker' vapour must be dispersed through the air to create a sort of synthetic night for the Swarm to be used to their fully efficiency.
-Severe Concentration: To be able to avoid these creatures from setting upon friendly Bryn'adûl forces, the Beast Master in control of the Draeyde Swarm must have an excellent level of concentration otherwise the creatures will set upon friend and foe or hey may simply flee underground.

  • Description:
Considered one of the most difficult tasks to undertake for any Shaman or Beast Master, subjugating a swarm of Draeyde to one's will is a very dangerous task. So dangerous that, even few amongst the Shaman Order are capable of this task.

When the Bryn'adûl discovered the Draeyde on Sraeljoarsk, their initial recon units were ravaged by the vicious creatures. However, they were able to use low intensity lights to force the Draeyde into a catatonic state and began experimentation on them. Once the Bryn'adûl discovered they were photosensitive, they began isolated specific members of the species as the Chieftain Tathra Khaeus demanded they be allotted to his forces.

Eventually even the Chieftain himself began the practice of Beast Domination to force the Draeyde to submit to the will of his Shamans. Eventually, the Bryn'adûl began cloning the Draeyde in controlled environments to produce them as a form of weapon.

The Draeyde Swarm are kept in capsules filled with Sun Quaker ink, dropped down to the Battlefield on command of either a Shaman or the Chieftain himself for use.

Need the mod summaries, and this is still on the old template, and I'll need you to make sure it's updated to the current one, especially in regards to unit size/availability/experience.

Mod summary; Changed the name and clarified that they split up when hunting, not during combat in their 'Fear Inducing' strength.

Added the required stuff to have the sub up to date with the current template.

Additionally, I'm missing the 'general information' (marked in yellow):

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: [ What is the name of this unit? Example: “Imperial Stormtroopers” or “Republic Commandos”. ]
  • Affiliation: [ Who is this unit loyal too? Usually a faction, company, or character. Link any relevant character bios, faction pages, or groups. ]
  • Classification: [ What type of unit is this? Choices include, but are not limited to: Conscript, Infantry, Engineers, Recon, Artillery, Fighter Pilots, Black Ops, etc. ]
  • Equipment: [ If your unit possesses any specialty equipment (weapons, armor, combat tools, star fighters, landing ships, etc.) list them and provide links here. Check the table below for production level and affiliation of any Factory submissions based on the unit's size and availability- those that are inappropriate will need to be changed. The unit may use equipment of the listed production or higher production values, but not lower. ]

  • Description: [ Give a brief overview of this combat unit. Notable appearance, if they have a unit emblem, general mindset and behavior, etc.

Once these two things are fixed we can re-approve this :)
