Lorda of Nem'ro and Hutt Republic Supreme Mogul
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: Broka's Sky Palace
  • Classification: Residence
  • Location: Nar-Shaddaa
  • Affiliation: Broka the Hutt owns the strucuture, and so through its owner, this is tied to the Eternal Empire through Broka's leadership of Black Sun, the Silver Jedi Concord as they are the overarching government of Nar-Shaddaa, and the Hutt Republic as Broka is the Supreme Mogul of that government which has authority over Nar-Shaddaa and Nal-Hutta
  • Accessibility: It can be easily accessed due to its rather ostentatious location. However, with the security and the fact that it is a residence of one of the many Hutts that rule over Nar-Shaddaa, no common citizen is stupid enough to show up uninvited.
  • Description: An extravagant sky palace much like many others that exist on Nar-Shaddaa. It floats above the upper sectors of the city world, and as of recent time, has a view of the Hutt Assembly building which was recently constructed. The layout is much like any of the others, with a main atrium that acts as a throne room, an entrace foyer, living quarters for both Broka, his staff, and his guests, as well as various balconies and one major landing platform near the primary entrance. All balconies are fit to be used as speeder stops, but those are either service entrances or a direct way for Broka or his staff to get into their respective living quarters.
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • Main Speeder Platform: Primary entrance for the palace. Here is where any visitors would come to in order to access the palace.
  • Entrance Foyer: First room that all visitors enter when coming inside the palace. It is an ostentatious entry hall with pieces of pottery, the Nem'ro Clan Flag, and various tapestries decorate the walls.
  • Main Atrium/Throne Room: On the far side of this main atrium is a small nook where Broka's throne is. The center of this room has a cantina bar, and various seats. A stage is on one side of the room while a hallway into other rooms on the other wall across from the stage. A small door to the kitchen exists near the throne itself.
  • Broka's Suite: Broka's personal living quarters. It has an entrance hall of its own with more decorations like in the main foyer, but it also has a private conference room, a bedroom for the colossal Hutt, a Hutt bathroom, and a private balcony (though Broka never goes on it, and he has it for status).
  • Staff Living Quarters Wing: A wing of the palace between the hallway from the main atrium and the entrance to Broka's suite. There are various rooms for courtiers for Broka within this wing.
  • Guest Rooms Wing: Another hall with a couple rooms for any esteemed invited guests Broka is having for business talks.
  • Kitchen: The room Broka could never live without, yet never goes into himself. This room is situated near the center of the palace, with doors that go to the region of the atrium where the throne is, near the entrance to Broka's suite, and also into the meeting/communications room. This kitchen is state of the art, and is made so that a lot of servants can prepare a lot of food for their master rather quickly and effectively.
  • Meeting Room/Communications Room: A room designed like a small auditorium. A holograph projector terminal lies in the center of the room, and various booths for Hutts, and smaller benches for more humanoid visitors, are oriented in a ring around the terminal. This room once served as the provision Hutt Assembly room when Broka and his associate Hutts began founding the Hutt Republic.
  • Barracks (sub section of Staff Wing): A bunk room that lies adjacent to the staff living quarters hall where all the guards and soldiers in Broka's private army, the Nem'ro Suns, live and sleep in.
  • Storage Room: This room is in the lower parts of the middle of the palace where food and other goods are stored for usage throughout the palace. A smaller loading bay for servants exists on this floor as well so that servants can quickly get goods acquired into proper places.
  • Armory: Between the storage room and the barracks, the armory is where all the Nem'ro Suns and palace guards store their weapons and armor when they are not in use. It also is used to store extra weapons any of said armed personnel are not using at a given moment.

    SECURITY

Despite using common security technology, the palace would be considered to have High Security. Armed guards patrol the palace day and night, it is isolated from the civilian areas due to it floating. It also uses the common technology to such a high amount that it would be considered to have High Security. However, what keeps it from being Maximum Security is that there are no guard towers, or posts, within the palace or on the loading platforms. Also, since the building floats above the Nar-Shaddaa skyline using the same repulsor lifts that other structures like it (many casinos and other sky palaces) use, if those repulsor lifts turn off for any reason, the entire palace will come crashing down to the city beneath it.

    HISTORICAL INFORMATION:
The sky palace has been in Broka's family ever since his father, Fruka the Hutt, had it constructed long before Broka was born. When Broka was born, Fruka had Broka live in saftey on Nal-Hutta at the palace of Broka's acclaimed grandfather Suudaa Nem'ro ("acclaimed" since there are no records that confirm or deny that Nem'ro the Hutt had children both IC and OOC), that Fruka managed to get inherited by claiming decendence of the dead Hutt. The ancient palace now stands like a country home for Broka while he takes a break from this palace in the busy city. Broak eventually would succeed his father after Fruka died of "mysterious circumstances" one day. Ever since, Broka has gone back and forth between both the ancient palace and childhood home on Nal-Hutta, and this place of the family business on Nar-Shaddaa. This building has hosted many crucial meetings that lead up to the founding of the Hutt Republic, and the growth of Broka's power. Here was where he met Gortta Desilijic Tiure where he first announced his plans for the Hutt Republic. Then, this palace became one of the homes of his two newest courtiers Willow and Ivy when his forces found them in a turf war. After that, this palace hosted the meeting where the treaty between the Silver Jedi Concord and the forming Hutt Republic took place, as well as where the meeting where the Hutt Constitution was written and officially began the Hutt Republic as the governing power of Nar-Shaddaa and Nal-Hutta.
