Bring Down The Sky..In Space (All Omega Pyre Members Welcome)

The Redhead Brigade was official now. The girl was derpy, but things were taking an intersting turn. For a moment she thought she heard something as well, a faint whispering, but then shrugged it off and savoured the nicotine.

"Oh, Yeah we're always looking for talent and see lots of action." After all, they kept conquering, pardon, liberating planets. "Admiral Mare is very good at what she does and a great pilot." There was Playful curve of her lips at that statement. They worked very closely together.

Ventasia's smile widened as her eyes bounced between all three women, pondering her options. Truly, she didn't have any, at this point. They'd shown her no hostility since she arrived. Not to mention the environment seemed relaxed enough that she could actually enjoy things. "Omega Pyre, huh? The Redhead Brigade? I gotta ask, what's in it for me?"

"Yep. We have the standard military, which I'm apparently running for some reason, then the Omega Pyre forces, which are more or less our elite commandos, under Siobhan. Honestly, you're probably better suited to Pyre with your talents, but hey, doesn't hurt me to ask. And we pay better than the Republic ever will." A grin crossed the Admiral's lips. Really. Wasn't that bad, right?

"Well other than pay and the fact you won't be stuck with the Jedi anymore, you'll also get to serve under one of these fine lady's commands. So it's up to you, but take it from me, your job prospects are better under Omega Pyre than practically anywhere else!"

Rebellious Vanguard
She blinked twice as her imagination kicked in once more. "Serve under...there's so many ways to turn that around."

Ventasia sighed, imagining how low her funds were. One couldn't lie. The pay in the Republic, even for a Jedi, is....humbling to put it lightly. "Well, maybe if I were given a grand tour.." To be honest, she simply wanted a reason to stay around the place whilst she attempted to figure out what she wanted to do. Plus, she was still enjoying the sights. Why let the party end so soon?

"There is. You'll find they happen way too often." Statement of fact. Spoken completely levelly while she tried not to burst out laughing. Almost impossible. Almost.

"Come through and I guess we can show you around. You'll find our stations not dissimilar to Republic-crewed ones, except slightly more relaxed. Most of our crew come from mercenary backgrounds and we like to maintain that. Some of us come from a more professional military background and the balance is perfect, I think," Allaina said as she led them through the first bulkheads. "I'm assuming you're entertaining the idea of joining us. Food?"

A slight wave was given to Tegaea and Siobhan as she followed behind Allaina. "Guess I'll see you two later." She chuckled, winking slightly before facing forward to walk. She'd mad a seemingly good exit from the area. No need to screw it up by tripping of something of the sort.

Ventasia couldn't help but to smile as she sauntered behind Allaina, her head panning from side to side as the portions of the station were introduced to her. More than anything, the word relaxed kept her attention. Stress was something she was happy to avoid if possible. She had more than enough of that already. Her feet came a complete halt as the word food was uttered. That was when she realized, she hadn't a bite to eat all day. The incident with the ship sort of drew her attention, obviously. "Food sounds...great."

"See? There you go. Can't run a military on an empty stomach."

Allaina took Ventasia to the officer's mess, which was serving up standard military-grade... something. She wasn't quite sure. It looked like some kind of cheese-based pasta dish, but when it came to the galley of any spacefaring vessel, one could never be quite too sure what was going on. This was the way of things - give them a budget, they stuck to it. It was standard.

"Let me explain my duties," she said, taking a plate and walking through the line just like all the other officers. "I oversee the Omega Defence Forces. That is to say I command all navy and standard army elements in the Protectorate, so essentially I'm the CO of both the army and navy, as the Republic would define it. Omega Pyre is a combined special operations and mercenary branch. They tend to take in all the Force-users for advanced training, though, so if that's more your thing... well, I can't argue."

Ventasia shrugged and grinned and she followed Allaina into the mess hall, which was uninspiring to say the least. But she had been told they pay well, which means the food couldn't be all that bad. She grabbed a plate, listening to Allaina speak as she finally looked down at the dish.

"I think my appetite just ran away...", she said to herself, within her own head of course. Normally, she wouldn't care of one's opinion of her, but this time she didn't want to offend. It could've been because they'd been so welcoming to her. Or it could've been because she was seemingly surrounded to highly attractive women. Honestly, she couldn't tell herself. But with a possible good thing going here, ventasia decided it best to simply shut her mouth for the time being, She followed Allaina through the line along with the other Omega Pyre officers.

"CO for the Navy and Army? Well, aren't you so important. Wait. Did you just say they train force users here?"

Good pay? Check.
Minimal rules? Check.
Friendly attractive allies? Check.
Jackpot? Check.

"The food actually doesn't taste that bad, truth told," Allaina replied, shovelling another mouthful of space pasta into her mouth. "It's officer's mess. It has to be good otherwise my command staff rebels and I'm out of a military. And a job."

Allaina paused a second. "Yeah. I'm not a Force-user myself, but the vast majority of our command staff is Force-using. We have a couple out there who are more reclusive than that. Our head of R&D, Lady Velori, is one of those. Brilliant talent... but she's a total hermit, believes only in herself and is probably going to be more responsible for the droid singularity than this whole Clockwork plague," she said to Ventasia. She seemed really keen and Allaina couldn't say no to an interesting redhead. Another member of the Redhead Brigade was always a plus. Besides, screw the fraternization rules... they were long-broken, anyway. "We've got all kinds here. If you want training and a job that lets you fight the good fight, then all you have to do is fill out some paperwork and I'll get you a posting within an hour. Comes with amazing pay and... benefits."

Rebellious Vanguard
"I guess if you put it that way, it msut be decent. Somewhat." Ventasia sifted through the meal as she spoke, though she couldn't hide her discontent which was sprawled across her face. She'd try it, eventually. Today simply wasn't that day. She was more concerned with the other words making their way to her ears. With so many Force sensitives about, her training could easily continue without the interference of the Jedi. Her eyes rose from her plate as he gazed at Allaina. She couldn't feel any sense of deception coming from the woman. It was as if she'd found somewhere created specifically for her. To make it even better, she was free to do as she pleased here, as long as she didn't step on anyone's toes in the process. Which she honestly wouldn't care about later.

She laid her fork on the table as a rather coy grin came across her face. "So...where do I sign? And, tell me more about these...benefits." A slight chuckle escaped as she winked suggestively at the Allaina.

"I'm not going to lie. The benefits are exactly what you're hoping for," she said, cutting through the miasma with a pointed word and a grin. "I happen to enjoy plenty of benefits all the time. It's a good life. I work hard, I play hard. Lots of things happen around here, depending on who you ask."

New crew was always a good thing. Loyalty could be bought, but real fealty was something that had to be earned. Sometimes that fealty was forged on a battlefield. Sometimes it was forged in a bedroom. She didn't mind which one she had to do in order to get good people. That wasn't a problem. Morality? Whatever. It only had a certain place here. She had less morals than, say, a Republic Jedi. She had some morals, like no Sith. But when it came to things like this? Ha. That was funny.

"So, tell me, what position are you hoping for?" she asked, point-blank, unable to resist the grin that spread across her face as she leaned across the table to ask her question, voice dropping. Two could play this game. Which meaning did she want?

With a slightly loud laughter, Ventasia leaned back in her chair, her eyes looking up toward the ceiling. "This place...has got to be paradise." Her words, were also her thoughts. Truthfully, she couldn't find one negative thing idea about the whole situation. It was as if she'd been tossed into a never ending dream. And she certainly didn't care if it never ended. Her mind wandered aimlessly for a few moments, every possible scenario she could even imagined seemed to pop into her head. And she like them all. Every last one of them.

"So, tell me, what position are you hoping for?"

The words of Allaina seemed to bring the flame-haired vixen back to reality, as her eyes dropped from the ceiling and returned to the woman's frame. The obvious point being the odd smile across her face a she leaned across the table, her voice low. A coy grin sprawled across Ventasia's face as she too leaned across the table, her tone lowering. "Which ever position you think I'd be best in." Ventasia simply adored these types of games, and it seemed she'd found a playmate.

Paradise was putting it nicely. There were lots of things that had gone right for her so far. She'd learned a lot, seen new places, been in command of operations that had been incredible to say the very least. She couldn't help herself. This place was great.

"Oh, there are a lot of positions available to you here," Allaina said, slowly, carefully considering every single word in her response. "I expect you have a few in mind, but would you like me to show them all to you anyway?" There was the opening. The hook was baited. Now to see if the fish would bite. If Ventasia wanted to play, Allaina was all too happy to play a little longer.

Rebellious Vanguard
Jack, and pot. Ventasia simply couldn't ask for things to be going any better. An now, and offer had been laid upon the table. It was Ventasia's move. She truly had problems, and maybe she just wasn't too good at hiding her intention. Her eyes followed Allaina as she rose from the table, her eyes tracing the woman's frame as she subconsciously licked at her own lips. She'd come this far. Why pull back now?

With a coy grin, she rose from her own seat, pushing her vibrant red hair behind her ears as she motioned toward the door. "I'd be a fool not to accept such an offer. Lead the way, dear."

"Gladly."

There it was. It was fairly clear what was about to happen next, so let's fade out because all you creepy thread-stalkers don't deserve to see what's about to happen. We know you're there. You guys are creeps, seriously, go back to under your rocks.

Some time later! Bed. Clothes were probably involved by then and Allaina was resuming some vague form of decorum to herself. After that, there usually wasn't much of any. She looked over to Ventasia, a sly grin crossing her lips again. "So. That enough convincing why you should join?"

Rebellious Vanguard
Yes. As was said, your not worthy enough to know of the intricacies the go on behind closed doors. Or in public, for that matter. Actually, we'll just say your not worth at all, and go with that. And now for the moment you...ah screw it. Time-skip!!

After Ventasia regained what remained of her senses, and clothing, she pulled her hair back, using both hands to secure it in a ponytail. Her eyes gazed at Allaina for a moment before sauntering over towards her, resting one hand on her cheek as she laughed just slightly. "You are quite the persuasive one. So I can't possibly say no to.." She paused for a moment, inhaling and exhaling deeply as her mind replayed what had just occurred. "All of that. I guess you have another hot head put up with. Try not to get tired of me too quickly, sweetie."
