A strong Gen'dai warrior turned mercenary, Brimstone spent many years working for the highest bidder until one day, around 400 years ago, he took a mission that went south. His employers turned on him and dealt him crippling injuries, but could not work out how to finally kill him, so they imprisoned him. For 400 years, Brimstone has spent his time locked inside an energy cage, mere metres away from his equipment, on an asteroid of little significance in the void.
A year ago, a religious splinter group called the Ashlan Crusade stumbled upon him, slowly loosing his mind, being able to see his past life but not touching it. They released him, not knowing who or what he was. Awaking in a rage he broke free and killed one of his rescuers before being subdued. For some reason they decided not to kill him and when he awoke, once again restrained they convinced him they were not aggressors. He now owes them a life debt, one he will spend the next 400 years paying off if he has too.
He is working alongside the crusade but also taking paid mercenary jobs to try and re-establish his own personal wealth, he needs a new ship, his current wreck doesn't even fit his armour inside. He doesn't feel like he will ever see the Barbarian-4 again, but thinks he might have a lead on where the Sith hid it after imprisoning him.
