OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Capital Ship, Station and Installation Specific Systems:
    • Dedicated Btare Ar Module (different module can be used on customer request): In order to make the bridge or control center the most self-sufficient location, and to prevent easy sabotage, a dedicated life support system is included. This is usually the Btare Ar module produced by the company, but can be replaced by any other similar system on customer request.
    • Backup Cryogenic Capacitor(s)
  • Computer Systems:
  • Customisable Multi Functional Displays: All of the MFDs used in the Svagiragr can be customised to display different prevalent information. For example, the user can choose which display displays comms and which display displays targeting information.
  • Cybernetic Link: If the user's armor, or the user themselves possess a cybernetic link, this can be used to control the craft or their station as well.
  • Gestures: The system can also be configured for gesture recognition. The accuracy of this feature is based on present hardware.
  • Vocal Commands: The system can process vocal commands from registered users in addition to other commands.
  • Hybrid: Using the Svagiragr, rather allows the user to make use of physical, holographic and HUD based controls.
  • Blast Shutters: When installed, the system also comes with blast shutters to make the crew that much less vulnerable to damage. Optical transducer panel(s) attached to the outside facing displaying directly to viewscreens attached to the interior facing prevent a loss of visibility.
  • Holographic Augmented Reality View: The system can generate an augmented reality holographic view of the world outside of the ship using a composite image from the platform's sensors. This view is compatible with battlenet systems such as the Manda, and can create tactical and strategic maps that are overlaid over the real-time sensor composite image.
  • Landing/Docking Assist (on compatible platforms): The system can sync to the platform's sensors to assist the pilot in assessing whether a landing zone/docking port is viable and then assist with their approach. For spaceports/stations with automated landing/docking facilities, the system can be configured to handle this automatically. If activated and the platform is on approach to a spaceport/station without such facilities, the pilot will be notified of the same.
  • Information Suite:
    • Holonet-based Environmental, Cultural and Political Information: The system can automatically pull up environmental, cultural and political information on the local system that it's platform is in via the holonet. The system can also be set to alert the user to certain parameters, such as temperature above or below a certain value, or political affiliations of a planetary or system government.
    • Enhanced Ground Navigations: Using sensor data, the system can provide enhanced navigation to friendlies on the ground as well as attempt to provide access to public building plans and the like via it's holonet link. This function can either be handled by the system automatically, or overseen by a droid/organic. .
    • Real-time Monitoring: The system can monitor news, weather changes and even intercepted communications in real-time provided there is hardware for the latter and a holonet connection for the former.
      • The above systems can also function with data from the ship's own databank(s) or from an alternate source via the ship's communications suite.
  • Automation:
    • Air Traffic (on compatible platforms): The system takes the tedium out of air traffic management by handling landing and takeoff requests as well as patrol scheduling. These functions can still be handled by the operator should they choose.
    • Life Support: The system can automatically handle life support functions, or monitor the status of an already existing life support management system.
    • Waste Management (on compatible platforms): Waste management can be automatically handled by the system, such as water and air recycling, waste management via trash compactors, solid fuel converters and/or molecular furnaces.
    • Production (on compatible platforms): The system can also automatically handle production and automate supply replenishment via said production facilities. In the case of largely automated systems such as those produced by Breshig War Forge Consolidated, the system will oversee their operation and display their status to the crew at pertinent locations such as the bridge of a starship.
    • Maintenance (on compatible platforms): The system can track the status of all the various subsystems connected into it and direct crew to address any issues that come up. For this purposes it maintains a maintenance communications subnet to prevent bogging down the main communications channels with maintenance traffic.
  • Interface Systems:
    • All of the following systems can be configured to be displayed as a holographic interface or as a HUD element.
      • The Sragivagr suite features full compatibility with the 'Manda' tactical battlenet as well, directly relaying information from the suite to the HUD or holographic interface.
      • Tracks the relative positions, velocities, and course trajectories of not only their own craft, but dozens of objects simultaneously.
      • Option for automatic or manual color coding and highlighting of friends, foes, and obstacles for quick and immediate reference. Elements can also be tagged with affiliation/identification tags automatically (as the platform's targeting/sensor/scanner suite indicates) and/or manually.
      • Allows for aiming, and targeting of weapon systems via gestures/head/eye movements or some combination thereof. Turreted weapons can be set to move with the user's head, allowing for gunners to more easily aim their weapon systems.
      • Visual impairments such as clouds and inclement weather can be toggled to be 'removed' from the pilot's vision, allowing the pilot to see unimpeded by such conditions.
      • Can configure any display displayed on the craft to be displayed in addition, or instead on the user's HUD or the holographic interface.
      • Any of the platform's functions can be mapped to a HUD or holographic interface control.
      • Can be configured to overlay an augmented reality interface over any physical controls to keep the user aware of data pertinent to the use of that control.
      • Augmented reality controls are also an option, and can allow for full haptic feedback.
STRENGTHS
  • Back to Manual: While extremely convenient, the system can easily switch back to manual override should they choose to.
  • Wealth of Information: The Svagiragr puts a massive wealth of information at the user's disposal, enabling them to make informed decisions irrespective of conditions they find themselves in.
  • Completely Customisable: The interface and the assistance provided by the system is completely customisable, allowing users to feel right at home no matter what interface method or combination of methods they're using.
  • Computerized Assistant: The system automates a lot of the tedium of day-to-day operations for starships, stations and installations.
  • Secure: Unauthorized remote and physical access of the system is all but prevented using state of the art counter-slicing and security measures.
WEAKNESSES
  • Disorienting: The system can be disorienting for those not used to high-density heads up displays or viewscreens, requiring a period of adjustment or reconfiguration of their display on the part of the user. Even then, the latter option usually isn't enough of a measure for such individuals.
  • Too Much Data: The amount of data that can be exchanged between those cybernetically connected to the system and the system itself can be overwhelming, leading to several other conditions that can arise from this.
  • Electronics: There are a lot of electronics required to make the system function, and while the system's electronics are well protected from EMP and Ion weapons, any damage that manages to bypass this protection is more than likely to cause a lot of damage.
  • Sensors: The system is highly reliant on it's platform's sensors. Low resolution, high latency, cheap sensors can severely inhibit proper system functioning.
  • You Know What You're Doing: The system will never attempt to correct a user's control customization, allowing a user to make potentially foolhardy or even deadly mistakes as far as control customization is concerned.
DESCRIPTION
"The Svagiragr is really nice, but don't ever let it become a crutch."
- Strill Securities Fleet Admiral Nyles Kote

Ever since the ancient Bes'uliik and the more modern incarnations, advanced control suites have been a popular feature on Mandalorian starships. Since its pre-merger days, the company has been committed to ensuring that their products do not place additional strain on their operators with frustrating control schemes or convoluted operating procedures, with an additional maximum operator customization. This stems from the company's firm belief that like a warrior's armor or weapon, his speeder or starship or even station aboard a capital ship should be equally customizable to his tastes without adversely affecting functioning.
The Svagiragr is the ultimate expression of that mentality. The first version of the product started as a simple HUD interface for systems, but was quickly updated to allow a vast degree of customization and increased crew situational awareness to a degree previously not attempted by the company. Additionally, the system had the provision to automate a lot of the mundane duties crews normally took on, with the provision for both crew monitoring, automatic alerts and manual override should it be required. Additionally, the sheer amount of information made available to the crew without much intervention on their part increased productivity and greatly reduced decision making time and crew error.
More information, however, is not always better. Those unused to high-density displays will find adjusting to the Svagiragr difficult. Those connecting to the system cybernetically also run the same risk of being overwhelmed by data although in an entirely different manner. In the same manner, to afford the user the sheer customizability, the system will never attempt to correct a user's control customization, allowing a user to make potentially foolhardy or even deadly mistakes as far as control customization is concerned.
Additionally, the system requires powerful sensors to really operate at full potential, while low resolution, high latency, cheap sensors can severely inhibit proper system functioning. Finally, there are a lot of electronics required to make the system function, and while the system's electronics are well protected from EMP and Ion weapons, any damage that manages to bypass this protection is more than likely to cause a lot of damage.
